Sachi: "What are you eating, brother?"

さち：「にいにい、なに食べてるでしゅか？」

Makana: "Leftovers from my breakfast."

マカナ：「ぼくの朝ごはんの残り。」

Sachi: "That looks yummy."

さち：「おいちそう。」

Makana: "It's yummy. I don't know why, but I can eat food now."

マカナ：「おいしいよ。なんでかわからないけど、今ならぼく、フードを食べられる。」

Sachi: "I want to eat, too!"

さち：「わたちも食べたい！」

Mommy: "You ate 30 seconds ago."

ママ：「30秒前に食べたじゃない。」

Going through the grief after Ehime passed away was painful. I asked Makana's breeder when the next litter they are planning, since I knew they just finished their previous litters. It looked like the next one would be around August.

えひめが亡くなったあと、その悲しみを持ち続けることは、心の痛いことでした。私はマカナのブリーダーに、次のパピーたちはいつごろ予定されているか尋ねました。ちょうど前回のパピーたちが、お家にもらわれて行ったばかりだったことを知っていたからです。

 I told him about what happened to Ehime, and Makana hadn't eaten much since then. One day after, he contacted me back, and said Sachi, the girl they kept from the previous litter is available for us. He even drove from Idaho to deliver Sachi. We appreciate the breeder so much.

私は、えひめに起こったこと、それ以来マカナがあまり食べていないことを話しました。次の日、ブリーダーさんからご連絡を頂き、前回のパピーの中で、ご自身のブリーディングにキープされていた女の子を私たちに譲ってくださるとおっしゃいました。それがさちです。さちを届けるために、アイダホ州から運転をしてくれたんです。ブリーダーさんには、本当に感謝です。
