Mommy: "The Harvest Monn last night was very bright. It's hard to see on the photo, but the planet, Saturn was seen under the full moon."

ママ：「昨夜のハーベストムーン、とっても明るく輝いてたわね。写真で見るのは難しいけれど、惑星の土星が満月の下に見えたのよ。」

Mommy: "This was what was going on in the sky at that time. Neptune is too far away to be seen, but it's still exciting seeing Saturn."

ママ：「これが、あの時のお空。海王星は遠すぎて見えないけれど、土星が見えたのはワクワクだったのよね〜」

Makana: "When mommy is excited at night, she stays up late."

マカナ：「ママが夜ワクワクすると、夜更かしするんだよね。」

Sachi: "I didn't get enough sleep. I want to tak a nap now."

さち：「わたち寝不足だから、お昼寝ちたい。」

Makana: "Me, too."

マカナ：「ぼくも。」

Mommy: "Our AI story of Golden Retrievers running the winery is almost having one year anniversary. These two are a husband and a wife, named Kuku and Lala. These two are cute, aren't they?"

The last meal 〜最後のごはん〜

Mommy: "Our favorite wine bar in town is going to close the business this coming Saterday. We used to get their food every Friday, because their food is amazing. And this is going to be the last one."

ママ：「私たちの大好きな地元のワインバーが、今週土曜日にビジネス最後の日を迎えるの。とてもおいしいごはんを出してくれるから、毎週金曜日は、いつもそこのごはんを買ってたのよね。そして、これが最後のごはん。」

Makana: "But you and keep your friendship with them, right? I remember, the owners are very nice people."

マカナ：「でも、友情は続けられるんでしょう？　ぼく、オーナーさんたちがとてもいい人たちなこと、覚えてるよ。」

Mommy: "They are. You used to see them when you were at the tasting room, right?"

Mommy: "I found this on Facebook. 'Aways by your side, personal food inspector, thinks every meal is for them, professinal couch hog, slow and stead stare, and bathroom bodyguard'. All about Golden Retrievers. Do you agree?"

ママ：「Facebookでこんなのを見つけたよ。"いつもそばにいる。専属のフード・インスペクター（食事チェック係）。どんな食事も自分のためだと思っている。プロのソファ独占屋。ゆっくりと、じーっと見つめてくる。そして、トイレまでついてくるボディーガード"。ゴールデン・レトリーバーって、まさにこんな感じ。そう思わない？」

Makana: "Umm, I think 'personal food inspector' and 'thinks every meal is for them' are especiall for Sachi."

She can achieve anything that she set her mind to. 〜やればできる子〜

I came up with an idea suddenly, and decided to have a training walk with Makana & Sachi this morning. Using the cleaned the sidewalk in the vineyard, Makana & Sachi had to focus on walking right next to me without looking at the ground. 

突然思いついて、今朝、マカナ＆さちとトレーニングウォークをすることにしました。ぶどう畑にあるきれいにした道を使って、マカナ＆さちは、地面を見ることなる私の横を歩くことの集中するというものでした。

On the first walk, Sachi got excited the new street for a walk, and she pulled the leash and tried to pick up the sticks. I corrected her using Cesar Millan's tecnique. Makana was walking right next to me as usual. On the fourth walk, Sachi successfuly walked right next to me without looking at the ground! I didn't even have to correct her. Makana was still walking right next to me.

最初に歩いた時は、さちは新しい道をお散歩することにワクワクしてしまい、リードを引っ張り、木の枝を拾おうとしました。私は、シーザーミランのテクニックを使って正しました。マカナは、いつものように、私の横を歩いていました。4回目に歩いたとき、さちはなんと、地面を見ずに私の横を歩けたんです！さちを正すこともありませんでした。マカナはずっと、ちゃんと私の横を歩いていました。

Sachi: "I'm a girl who can achieve anything I sent my mind to. He he."

さち：「わたちは、やればできる子なんでしゅよ。えへへ。」

Makana: "Then you should do it from the beginning."

マカナ：「じゃあ、最初からやればいいのに。」

Hoping a swift economic recovry 〜迅速な経済回復を祈りながら〜

Mommy: "All grapes from our vineyard were harvested last two nights. This is the first year that we don't make any wine with our grapes since we became a winery. I just hope the economy in the world recovers, and we get the budget of making wine again."

ママ：「うちのぶどう畑のすべてのぶどうが、ここ二夜で収穫された。ワイナリーになって以来、自分たちのぶどうでワインを造らないのは、今年が初めて。世界の経済が回復して、またワインを造る予算ができるといいんだけど。」

Makana: "It's OK, mommy. Wheverever you are, whatever you do, I'll be there for you."

マカナ：「大丈夫だよ、ママ。ママたちがどこにいても、何をしていても、ぼくはママたちのそばにいるから。」

Mommy: "Aww... Thank you, Ma-kun."

ママ：「あうう‥‥ ありがと、マーくん。」

Shiritori game 〜しりとりゲーム〜

Mommy: "Finally! I received my new passport at Japanese consulate yesterday. It took a long time driving back home because of a major collision on the road, and we had to be in a traffic jam for a long time. But your daddy & I had a good time playing the Shiritori game (Japanese word-chain game) together in a car. I won twice♪"

ママ：「やっと！　昨日日本領事館で、新しいパスポートを受け取ったの。道中大きな衝突があって、長い間渋滞に巻き込まれたから、お家まで運転して帰るのに結構な時間がかかったけど、パパとママ、車の中でしりとりゲームして、楽しかったわ。2回も勝っちゃった♪」

Makana: "Daddy was saying you took an advantage of the Shiritori game, because you more Japanese words."

マカナ：「パパ、言ってたよ。ママが、しりとりゲームを有利に持っていったって。ママの方が、日本の言葉をよく知ってるから。」

Mommy: "That might be true. But his idea was playing the Shiritori game in French, which is the language we both don't know well. I think this game should be played in the language at least one of us know, don't you think?"

ママ：「そうかもね。でもパパのアイディアは、しりとりゲームをフランス語でしようってことだったのよ。二人とも、あんまり知らないのに。少なくても、私たちのうち一人はその言語を知ってるべきだと思わない？」

Makana: "......"

マカナ：「‥‥」

Taco Tuesday 〜火曜日はタコスの日〜

Mommy: "Thinking about "Special" for the restaurant is exciting. We are starting "Taco Tuesday" next week. And that inincludes our new taco, Ahi Poke Taco with house-made wasabi aioli. I would order one each, and that will make a great dinner. Don't you think so?"

ママ：「レストランのスペシャルを考えるのって、ワクワクするのよね〜　来週”火曜日はタコスの日”を始めるの。私たちの新しいタコス、自家製わさびアイオリ添えのアヒポケタコスも含めて。私なら、ひとつずつオーダーするわね。そしたらいいディナーになるもの。そう思わない？」

Makana: "I would like to order salmon tacos without aioli. Maybe a little rice will be appreciated."

マカナ：「ぼくなら、サーモンタコスをアイオリ無しでオーダーする。ちょっとごはんもあるとありがたいかな。」

Mommy: "Do we still call them "tacos"?

ママ：「それはもはや、”タコス”と呼べる？」

The wine with Sachi's label won an award! 〜さちのラベルのワイン、受賞！〜

Mommy: "Our Estate Cabernet Franc 2023 with Sachi's first wine label ecently received an amazing award. We are very looking forward to being able to annouce late fall."

ママ：「うちのエステートカベルネフラン2023、さっちゃんが初めてワインラベルになったワインがね、最近素晴らしい賞を受賞したの。秋の終わりに発表できること、とっても楽しみだわ。」

Mommy: "And our grapes of Cabernet Franc are going to be harvested next week. I say it was a little challenging year to grow grapes since we had the cool spring."

ママ：「そしてうちのカベルネフランのぶどう、来週収穫予定。今年は涼しい春だったから、ぶどうを育てるのにはちょっと難しい年だったわね。」

Mommy: "By the way, Sachi. Can you tell me why your feet are a little dirty again?"

ママ：「ところで、さっちゃん。足がまたちょっと汚れているのは、なぜ？」

Sachi: "He he♪"

さち：「えへへ♪」

Mommy: "Hey. Your tail is moving up & down again."

ママ：「ちょっと。しっぽ、また上下に動いてるよ。」
