Mommy: "Sachi. You have a toy in front of you, and also in your mouth. Do you need two?"

ママ：「さっちゃん。おもちゃ、さっちゃんの前にもお口にもあるけど。ふたつ必要？」

Sachi: "These two have different ways of playing."

さち：「このふたつは、遊び方がちがうんでしゅよ。」

Sachi: "This ball can be chewed like this..."

さち：「このボールは、こうやってカミカミできて‥‥」

Sachi: "worjrtyjhsj...."

さち：「worjrtyjhsj....」

Mommy: "You look like.... a little.... choking yourself."

ママ：「なんか‥‥ ちょっと‥‥ むせてない？」

Sachi: "Huh... This toy seems a little safer, but I don't know how to play."

さち：「はあ‥‥ このおもちゃは安全だけど、どうやって遊んだらいいかわからない。」

Makana: "All toys for doggies are good for chewing, in my opinion."

マカナ：「すべてのおもちゃは、カミカミすればいいと思うけど。ぼくの意見では。」

Reward for work 〜仕事の報酬〜

 

Mommy: "You know the area where you two are sitting on. It was my place one time."

ママ：「あのね、ふたりが座ってるその場所ね、一度はママの場所だったのよ。」

Sachi: "Not any more."

さち：「もう、ちがいましゅよ。」

Makana: "Well..."

マカナ：「えっと‥‥」

Makana: "I work hard for you during the day, so I think it's OK for me to stay here."

マカナ：「ぼく、日中ママのために一生懸命働くから、ここにいてもいいと思います。」

Sachi: "Oh, a castle in France."

さち：「あ、フランスのお城。」

Mommy: "I guess you have a right to say that, Ma-kun. You are really doing things for me. Sachi... I think she just wants to watch TV."

ママ：「マーくんは、そう言う権利はあるわよね。本当に、色々やってくれてるし。さっちゃんは‥‥ ただテレビが見たいだけだと思うわ。」

A morning walk in Wine Country 〜ワインカントリー、朝のお散歩〜

 

Sachi: "It's foggy and chilly this morning, isn't it?"

さち：「今朝は、霧が深くて寒いでしゅね。」

Makana: "Yes. I guess it's fall now."

マカナ：「うん。秋だねえ。」

Mommy: "There are some the secondary-growth-grapes on vines. We don't harvest them for making wine, but they are kind of growing well."

ママ：「木に二次成長のぶどうがなってる。ワイン造り用には収穫しないけれど、なんかいい感じに育ってるわね。」

Mommy: "Leaves are changing the color, too. It's really fall like Makana said."

ママ：「葉っぱの色も変わってきてる。マーくんが言うように、本当に秋だわね。」

Mommy: "Let's go for a walk."

ママ：「さあ、お散歩に行きましょ。」

Makana: "Let's do. When we walk, we will feel warmer."

マカナ：「うん、行こう。歩けば、体がポカポカするよ。」

Protectors 〜プロテクターズ〜

 

Makana: "A grape protector is here!"

マカナ：「ぶどうプロテクター、参上！」

Sachi: "Brother's follower is here, too!"

さち：「にいにいのフォロワーも、参上！」

Sea: "Aww, why did they come back?"

シー：「あうう、なんで戻って来たのかしら。」

Sachi: "We did it, brother. She ran away."

さち：「にいにい、やりまちたよ。にわとりしゃんが逃げた。」

Makana: "We are a good team together."

マカナ：「ぼくたちふたり、いいチームだもんね。」

I made an annual photo collage for the wine pickup party at the tasting room. Just looking at the photos, I found out so many different things that happened this year.

テイスティングルームでのワインピックアップパーティー用に、毎年恒例写真コラージュを作りました。写真を見ているだけで、今年はたくさんのことがあったんだなあと思いました。

Lots of laughs and tears. Being worried, being frustrated, being pleased and being satisfied. Business has ups & downs. I'm learning how to handle such things every day.

たくさんの笑いと涙。心配したり、イライラしたり、喜んだり、満足したり。ビジネスには、いい時もあれば落ち込むときもあります。そういうことをどのようにこなしていくか、毎日が勉強です。

With our love and appreciation, we are packing wines for our club members soon. Club members are our treasure.

愛情を感謝の気持ちを込めて、もうすぐクラブメンバーさんのためにワインを梱包します。クラブメンバーさんは、私たちの宝物です。

Makana: "We did great protecting grapes today, too."

マカナ：「今日もちゃんと、ぶどうを守れた。」

Sachi: "Good job."

さち：「よくがんばりまちた。」

Makana: "By the way, Sachi. Why did you bring this big branch from the other side of the backyard?"

マカナ：「ところで、さっちゃん。なんで裏庭の向こう側から、こんな大きな枝を持ってきたの？」

Sachi: "Well..."

さち：「えっと‥‥」

Sachi: "Shhhhhh!!! Please speak in a little lower voice. Mommy might be angry if she got to know that I brought a big branch here."

さち：「しーーーーっ！　もうちょっと小しゃな声で話ちてくだしゃいよ。わたちがここに大きな枝を持ってきたことがママに知れたら、怒られるかもちれないから。」

Makana: "Ah, is that so?"

マカナ：「ああ、そう。」

Sachi: "By the way, brother. Could you move? You are sitting on my branch."

さち：「ところで、にいにい。どいてくだしゃいよ。わたちの枝の上に座ってるち。」

Makana: "Are you OK saying that? Mommy is standing there."

マカナ：「さっちゃん、それ、言っても大丈夫？　ママがそこに立ってるけど。」

Sachi: "Ha!"

さち：「はっ！」

Golden Life with horses 〜ゴールデンライフ・ウィズ・ホース〜

 

Mommy: "Ken, Ken. We love you❤︎"

ママ：「ケンケン、だ〜い好き❤︎」

Daddy: "Ahaha. You are literally bonding with Ken."

パパ：「あはは。ママ、文字通り、ケンにくっついてる。」

Mommy: "Oh, look at Hana's neighbor. I wish I can get on-call nail service like she does."

ママ：「あら、ハナちゃんのご近所さんを見て。私もあの子みたいに、出張ネイルサービスをしてもらえたらなあ。」

Daddy: "Should I get a contact number from his company?"

パパ：「あの人の会社の連絡先、もらってあげようか？」

Mommy: "Umm... You know I'm a human, right?"

ママ：「あの‥‥ パパ。私が人間だって知ってる？」

Sachi: "Ahhhh, brother!!! Because you don't work harder, our blog is becoming 'Golden Life with horses!'"

さち：「あああ、にいにい！！！　にいにいがガンバらないから、このブログが、”ゴールデンライフ・ウィズ・ホース”になってきてるじゃないでしゅか！」

Makana: "Ahhh!!!"

マカナ：「あああ！！！」

Makana: "It's not my fault! You should do more things to make people impressed!"

マカナ：「ぼくのせいじゃないっ！　さっちゃんこそ、みんながすごいって思うことをもっとするべきだよ！」

Sachi: "But I don't see more birthday cards on the kitchen counter to eat!"

さち：「だって〜　キッチンカウンターの上にはもう、食用のバースデーカードがないでしゅからっ！」

Mommy: "There is no birthday card to eat in this world!"

ママ：「食用のバースデーカードなんて、この世にはありませんっ！」

Sachi: "I got washed, ran around a little bit and drank a lot of water. I feel good now."

さち：「洗われて、ちょっと走り回って、お水をたくしゃん飲んだから、今快適。」

Mommy: "Did you drink the water that much? You are not going bathroom every five minutes, are you?"

ママ：「お水、そんなに飲んじゃった？　さっちゃん、5分ごとにトイレに行くんじゃない？」

Makana: "I'm going to take a nap here."

マカナ：「ぼくは、ここでお昼寝する〜」

Mommy: "On the couch? Well, I guess it's OK since you are mostly dry."

ママ：「ソファーで？　まあ、だいたい乾いてるからいいか。」
