Ehime: "Are they done?"

えひめ：「できたでしゅか？」

Daddy: "Yes. Three hours of marinading, three hours of drying and a few hours of smoking. They smell so good♪"

パパ：「うん。マリネ３時間、乾燥３時間、そして燻製数時間。いい香りだ〜♪」

Today　今日

Kahlua: "Are you going out, mommy?"

カルア：「ママ、お出かけするの？」

Mommy: "Yes. I just finish packing smoked salmon. I'm going to deliver them and milk Happy."

ママ：「うん。スモークサーモンのパッキングが終わったから、サーモンの配達とハッピーちゃんの乳搾りに行ってくるね。」

Kona: "Huh... all the salmon was packed..."

コナ：「はあ‥‥　サーモン全部、パッキングされた‥‥」

Mommy: "Kona..."

ママ：「コナくん‥‥」

Mommy: "You have an interesting way of laying down. Where are your back legs?"

ママ：「変わった寝方してるのね。後ろ足はどこかしら？」

Joy: "Fu fu♪"

ジョイ：「うふふ♪」

Mommy: "Joy, you are so adorable❤︎"

ママ：「ジョイくん、本当に可愛らしいね〜❤︎」

At 12:30pm　午後１２時半

Ehime: "We are not going to the groomer's place, are we?"

えひめ：「グルーマーしゃんのところに行くんじゃないでしゅよね？」

Kona: "I don't feel bad today. Must be a good place."

コナ：「今日は悪い予感がしないな。きっといいところだよ。」

Daddy: "Here we are. In-N-Out. It's a good place♪"

パパ：「はい到着。In-N-Out。いいところだ〜♪」

Ehime: "Your lunch is on me."

えひめ：「ランチは、わたちがおごりましゅから。」

Daddy: "Really? Thank you, Ehime."

パパ：「そう？ありがと、えひめ。」

Daddy: "Mmm, everything looks delicious♪"

パパ：「ん〜、全部おいしそう♪」

Mommy: "They cut the potatoes freshly every day, and they don't use any preservatives. In-N-Out is probably the only fast food hamburger restaurant that is growing in this area, don't you think, darling?"

ママ：「毎日ちゃんとじゃがいもを切って、保存料はいっさい使わない。この辺りで流行っているハンバーガーのファーストフードは、多分In-N-Outだけだと思わない、パパ？」

Ehime: "Awww, I paid. But why can't I get a hamburger..."

えひめ：「あうう、わたちがお支払いちたのに、なんでハンバーガーを食べられないんでしゅか‥‥」

Kona: "I couldn't get salmon."

コナ：「サーモン、もらえなかった。」

Ehime: "I couldn't get a hamburger."

えひめ：「ハンバーガー、もらえなかった。」

Mommy: "OK, OK. I give you biscuits when we get back home."

ママ：「わかった、わかった。おうちに帰ったら、ビスケットをあげるから。」

We also went to the vet to buy the medication for fleas and ticks for dogs.

私たちは、犬たち用のノミ＆ダニのお薬を買いに、動物病院へ行きました。

Mommy: "Darling, those medications were really expensive."

ママ：「パパ、お薬ね、すっごく高かったよ。」

Daddy: "How much?"

パパ：「いくら？」

Mommy: "$222.50"

ママ：「222ドル50セント。（約27,000円）」

Daddy: "Really!? Leftovers for dinner tonight..."

パパ：「本当に！？今夜の晩ごはんは、残り物だな‥‥」

Mommy: "If you walk with Kahlua, you can lose 0.5 pounds. If you walk with Ehime, you can lose 3 pounds. Which one do you want to walk with, darling?"

ママ：「カルアと一緒に歩けば、0.5ポンド痩せられます。えひめと一緒に歩けば、3ポンド痩せられます。さあ、パパ。どっちと歩く？」

Daddy: "...... I'll walk with Ehime."

パパ：「‥‥　えひめと一緒に歩きます。」

Mommy: "Oh! When do those cucumbers grow? I've got to harvest this one today."

ママ：「あっ！きゅうり、いつ成長するのかしら。今日はこれを収穫しなきゃ。」

Two days ago, I got a text from our friend that said she wants our fresh eggs.

二日前、お友達から連絡をいただき、うちの新鮮たまごがほしいということでした。

When I delivered a dozen of eggs yesterday, our friend tried to pay for them. I said "No, they are free." Then she said "This is the donation for your 'saving for animal treats' jar. Buy something tasty for your animals. 

昨日私がたまご１ダース分の配達をしたとき、お友達がたまご代を払ってくれようとしました。私は、「いえ、これは無料です。」と言いました。するとそのお友達は「これは、あなたの家の ”動物おやつ貯金” ジャーへの寄付金です。動物たちに、なにかおいしいものでも買ってあげて。」と言ってくださいました。

Kona: "What a sweet person she is. (shiny eyes☆)"

コナ：「なんてやさしい人なんだ。（お目めキラキラ☆）」

Ehime: "Sweet."

えひめ：「やさちい。」

Thanking to her donation, I planted more Omega 3 plants for chickens to eat today. They LOVE these plants!

この寄付金にとても感謝して、私は今日、にわとりさんたちが食べるオメガ３の植物を、もっと植えました。にわとりさんたちは、この植物が、本当に大好きなんです！

Chickens: "Yay! It's Omega 3 time♪"

にわとりさんたち：「わ〜い！オメガ３の時間よ♪」

Mommy: "I got some Omega 3 from the bigger plants. Here you are♪"

ママ：「大きいほうのオメガ３の植物の鉢から、いくつか取ってきたよ。はい、どうぞ♪」

Chicken A: "Can you break them into small pieces?"

にわとりA：「小さくちぎってくれる？」

That friend asked us if we can smoke her salmon. Of course we said "Yes!"

そのお友達が、ご自身のサーモンを燻製にしてくれないかと尋ねてこられました。もちろん答えは「はい！」。

Kona: "Salmon, salmon♪"

コナ：「サーモン、サーモン♪」

Daddy: "Let's cut our salmon, too, after finishing cutting her salmon."

パパ：「お友達のサーモンを切り終えたら、ぼくたちのサーモンも切ろう。」

Ehime: "I think we should make our dinner with that salmon."

えひめ：「しょのサーモンで、わたちたちのごはんを作ってくだしゃい。」

Kona: "I kind of feel like all the pieces are going to be marinaded for smoking..."

コナ：「なんか、切り身全部、燻製用にマリネされるような気がする‥‥」

Kahlua: "I read on Google the other day, and it said that doggies can take a little bit salt♪ (smile)"

カルア：「こないだグーグルしたら、ちょっとくらいのお塩なら、犬も食べていいって書いてたよ♪（ニコッ）」

Golden Retriever Meet-up, September 2015 〜ゴールデンレトリバーミートア ップ 2015年9月〜

Daddy: "Oh! A vapor trail."

パパ：「あっ！飛行機雲だ。」

Mommy: "Did they crash at the end?"

ママ：「最後にぶつかったのかしら？」

Daddy: "I don't think so."

パパ：「そうじゃないと思うけど。」

Ehime: "Where are we going today?"

えひめ：「今日は、どこに行くでしゅか？」

Kona: "I hope it's not the groomer's place."

コナ：「グルーマーさんのところじゃなければいいけど。」

We participated in the Golden Retriever Meet-up for September! This should be a good exercise for Kona & Ehime to socialize with other dogs and people.

９月のゴールデンレトリバーミートアップに参加しました！きっと、コナやえひめにとって、他の犬たちや人たちとの社交性を高める良いエクササイズになるはず、と思って。

Man A: "Ehime, look this way."

男性A：「えひめちゃん、こっち向いて〜」

Ehime: "I'm getting enough photo shooting by mommy."

えひめ：「写真撮影なら、ママで間に合っていましゅよ。」

Ehime: "Daddy, I got a follower♪"

えひめ：「パパ〜、わたち、子分ができまちた♪」

Daddy: "Good for you."

パパ：「よかったね。」

Golden A: "Umm, can you share the branch with me?"

ゴールデンA：「あの、その枝、私とシェアしてくれない？」

Ehime: "My brother probably doesn't want to leave it."

えひめ：「にいたまは、多分シェアちたくないと思いましゅよ。」

Ehime: "Because mommy & daddy are going to say 'Go say hi to other dogs' if he is not busy."

えひめ：「だって、忙ちくちてなかったら、パパとママに ”他の犬たちにごあいさつちてきなしゃい。”って言われましゅから。」

Kona: "Busy, busy."

コナ：「忙しい、忙しい。」

Daddy: "Leroy, where is your mommy today?"

パパ：「リロイくん、今日はママさんはどうしたの？」

Leroy: "Mommy went to work."

リロイ：「お仕事に行ったの。」

Mommy: "Leroy, Maple, let's take a photo with your daddy. Say, cheese♪ Oh, no! Kona & Ehime went in!"

ママ：「リロイくん、メープルちゃん、パパさんと一緒に写真を撮ろうね。はい、チーズ♪　あら、やだ！コナとえひめが入っちゃった！」

Ehime: "Daddy, my follower is still following."

えひめ：「パパ〜、わたちの子分が、まだついて来る〜」

Daddy: "He likes you."

パパ：「えひめのことが好きなんだな。」

Kona: "Ehime is getting married!"

コナ：「えひめ、結婚するのか！」

Ehime: "Shhhhh! I don't want my boyfriend, Jack to hear it."

えひめ：「しーーーーーっ！ボーイフレンドのジャックくんに聞こえたら、どうしゅるでしゅか。」

※ Jack, the German Shepherd is now in Wyoming.

※　ジャーマンシェパードのジャックくんは、現在ワイオミング州にいます。

Kona was shy. He looked happy to see his friends, Leroy & Maple, but that's about it. He made himself look busy. My husband was there with him. Ehime was a little nervous. She ran from corner to corner to escape from the crowd. I ran from corner to corner to capture her. At least, we all did our best.(#^o^#)

コナはシャイでした。お友達のリロイくんとメープルちゃんに会えたのはうれしそうでしたが、それだけでした。なんとか忙しそうに振るまっているようでした。主人は、そんなコナと一緒にいました。えひめは、少し緊張しているようでした。みんなのいる場所から逃げるように、端から端へ走りました。私はえひめを捕まえるために、端から端へ走りました。少なくても、みんながんばりました (#^o^#)。

Joy: "Mommy, mommy❤︎"

ジョイ：「ママ〜、ママ〜❤︎」

Happy: "I'm eating dinner now. Go to a nursing nanny."

ハッピー：「いま晩ごはんを食べてるから、乳母さんのところに行きなさい。」

Joy: "(suck, suck)"

ジョイ：「（グイ、グイ）」

Mommy: "There is nothing I can provide from my body, though."

ママ：「そう言われても、私の体から出せるものはないのよね〜」

Kahlua: "Is it our dinner time?"

カルア：「ぼくたちの晩ごはんの時間？」

Mommy: "Just a second. I just need to pasteurize Happy Milk before I make dinner for everyday."

ママ：「ちょっと待って。みんなのごはんを作る前に、ハッピーミルクの低温殺菌しなきゃいけないの。」

Daddy: "What a beautiful sunset today."

パパ：「今日の日の入り、きれいだな〜」
