さち：「太陽は出てないち、パパとママは今日、長い間お仕事でおうちにいないち。」

Mommy: "Sorry. Our friend is coming to feed you and play with you this evening."

ママ：「ごめんね。お友だちが今日の夕方、さっちゃんたちにごはんをあげるのと遊びに来てくれるから。」

Mommy: "And after the wine club pickup party and work tonight, daddy & I are coming back home and play with you, OK?"

ママ：「それに、今夜ワインクラブのピックアップパーティのお仕事のあと、パパとママ、おうちに帰ってさっちゃんたちと遊ぶから、ね？」

さち：「！？」

Sachi: "Daddy says I'm cute being a little cubby."

さち：「パパは、わたち、ちょっとぽっちゃりちててかわいいって言ってくれましゅから。」

Makana: "Daddy has a good manner."

マカナ：「パパ、礼儀正しいから。」

Sachi: "Please put the dangerous thing away."

さち：「しょういう危ないものは、しまってくだしゃい。」

Mommy: "This is not the dangerous thing. I just trimmed your hair a little bit."

ママ：「危ないものじゃないわよ。ちょっとさっちゃんの毛をトリミングしたじゃない。」

Makana: "Oh, no. I see some parts of Sachi being destroyed on the ground."

マカナ：「なんてこと。地面に、破壊されたさっちゃんの一部が。」

Mommy: "The way you say is not the best. Let's trim a little more, Sachi."

ママ：「その言い方。さあ、さっちゃん。もうちょっとトリミングしよ。」

Sachi: "I don't want to die yet."

さち：「わたち、まだ死にたくないでしゅから。」

Makana: "Same here."

マカナ：「右に同じ。」

Mommy: "Huh... I guess we all just need to get used to it."

ママ：「はあ‥‥ まあ、私も含めて慣れるしかないわね。」

Sunflower seeds 〜ひまわりの種〜

 

Mommy: "Great! Almost all sunflower seeds started to sprout. I probably need to thin out if they all are growing."

ママ：「よかった。ひまわりの種のほとんどが、発芽してきた。もし全部育ってるなら、間引きしなくっちゃね。」

Mommy: "Mmm? Are these sunflowers? Why are they growing on the ground? I've never planted here."

ママ：「んん？　これ、ひまわり？　なんで地面で育ってるの？　ここに植えた覚えないのに。」

Makana: "Maybe the wild birds dropped the seeds there from last year. I bet they are delicious."

マカナ：「昨年の種を、野鳥が落としたんじゃないかな。きっとひまわりの種、おいしいんだろうね。」

Mommy: "Hey, you didn't eat sunflower seeds, did you? Ma-kun?"

ママ：「ちょっと、マーくん。ひまわりの種、食べてないよね？　ね？」

Makana: "I'll see you later."

マカナ：「じゃ、またあとで。」
