Kona: "Kahlua is stalking Ehime."

コナ：「カルアくんが、ひめたんをストーカーしてる〜」

Ehime: "Umm... Brother Kahlua is staring at me."

えひめ：「あの‥‥　カルアにいに、じっと見られているんでしゅけど。」

(Kahlua is staring.)

（カルア、じーーーっ）

Ehime: "Do you need anything from me?"

えひめ：「何か御用でしゅか？」

Kahlua: "Nothing really."

カルア：「特には何も。」

Kona: "I'm getting in the middle♪"

コナ：「真ん中に入りまーす♪」

Ehime: "Ahhh! We were playing the prince & princess!"

えひめ：「あああ！プリンス＆プリンセスごっこをちてたのに！」

Kahlua: "Were we?"

カルア：「してた？」

Kona: "I prefer to wrestle♪"

コナ：「ぼくは、レスリングの方が好き♪」

Kahlua: "I'm joining you!"

カルア：「ぼくも参戦します！」

Ehime: "Ahhh! I'm falling!"

えひめ：「あああ！倒れる〜！」

Ehime: "Do you do such a thing to me?"

えひめ：「わたちに、しょんなことをしゅるでしゅか？」

Kona: "Yes, I do."

コナ：「する。」

Kahlua: "Your opponent is me!"

カルア：「相手はぼくだよ！」

Ehime: "Then, I'm attacking you, too!"

えひめ：「じゃあ、わたちも攻撃ちましゅから！」

Kona: "What!?"

コナ：「えっ！？」

Kahlua: "Wait, wait!"

カルア：「待て待て〜！」

Mommy: "Hey, guys! Let's get ready for a walk!"

ママ：「ちょっと、みんな！お散歩の準備をするわよ！」

Ehime: "Then, I'm going to hold this."

えひめ：「じゃ、わたちはこれ。」

Kahlua: "......"

カルア：「‥‥」

Kahlua: "That's my leash for today!"

カルア：「それは、今日のぼくのリード！」

Ehime: "Is it?"

えひめ：「しょうなんでしゅか？」

Mommy: "Yes, it it."

ママ：「そうなんです。」

Mommy: "Let's put the backpack on, Ehime. You guys might get tired even before the walk if you play that hard."

ママ：「さあ、リュックをつけましょ、ひめたん。みんなそんなにワイワイしたら、お散歩に行く前に疲れちゃうかもよ。」

Kahlua: "That's a good point."

カルア：「それは、一理あるね。」

Mommy: "Phew, we can finally go for a morning walk."

ママ：「ふう、やっと朝のお散歩に行けるわ。」

Kona: "How are your legs, Kahlua?"

コナ：「カルアくん、足大丈夫？」

Kahlua: "So far, so good."

カルア：「今のところは、大丈夫。」

Bountiful vineyard 〜実りいっぱいのぶどう園〜

Mommy: "Mmm, it's so hard to stop myself from 'tasting' grapes in the vineyard. They are so delicious!"

ママ：「うーん、ぶどう園のぶどうの”味見”をやめるのって本当に大変。とってもおいしいんだもの！」

Kahlua: "Isn't it called 'eating' not 'tasting'?"

カルア：「それって、”味見”じゃなくて、”食べる”っていうんじゃないの？」

Ehime: "It's not fair that only you can eat the tasty fruit."

えひめ：「ママだけおいちい果物を食べれるなんて、不公平でしゅよ。」

Kona: "I agree."

コナ：「同感。」

Ehime: "Maybe I'll just run to the vineyard and eat the tasty fruit."

えひめ：「わたち、ひとっ走りぶどう園に行って、おいちい果物を食べちゃおうかな。」

Kona: "What!?"

コナ：「えっ！？」

Kona: "Then, I should go with you."

コナ：「じゃあ、ぼくもひめたんと一緒に。」

Mommy: "STOOOOOP!!! I understand. I'm going to make more dry apples and fill the jar with them. You dogs shouldn't eat grapes."

ママ：「ストーーーーーップ！！！わかった、わかった。干しリンゴをもっと作って、ジャーを干しリンゴでいっぱいにするから。犬はぶどうを食べるべきじゃないんだもの。」

A winter talk in August 〜８月のウィンタートーク〜

Ehime: "Umm.... It's still August, right? Why are you wearing the winter clothes?"

えひめ：「あの‥‥　まだ、８月でしゅよね？なんで冬の服を着てるでしゅか？」

Mommy: "It's cold outside. I might as well take a photo. Fu fu♪"

ママ：「だってお外は寒いんだもの。せっかくだから、写真撮っちゃおうっと。うふふ♪」

Kona: "Speaking of winter, the holiday season is coming soon. That's baking season. I might get more edges of French Baguette."

コナ：「冬と言えば、ホリデーシーズンがもうすぐやってくるね。それってベーキング（焼き物）のシーズンだから、もっとフレンチバゲットの端っこがもらえるかも。」

Kahlua: "Speaking of baking season, apple pie is popular, right?"

 カルア：「ベーキングのシーズンと言えば、アップルパイが人気なんでしょう？」

Sunny: "Apple pie... What is it, brother?"

サニー：「アップルパイ‥‥　兄さん、それってなに？」

Serene: "Apple pie is..."

セリーン：「アップルパイっていうのは‥‥」

Serene: "Whatever apple pie is, I think hay is tastier."

セリーン：「アップルパイっていうのが何であっても、干し草の方がおいしいと思うよ。」

Sunny: "I believe you for now."

サニー：「今は兄さんを信じます。」

Things we can do for this town 〜この町のために私たちができること〜

Kahlua: "I kind of feel hungry."

カルア：「なんか、おなかすいたなあ。」

Ehime: "Please give me the food, brother Kona."

えひめ：「コナにい、わたちに食べ物をくだしゃい。」

Kona: "I'm not a cow. The food doesn't come out from my mouth."

コナ：「ぼくは、牛じゃないんだよ。食べ物は、ぼくの口から出てこないんだから。」

I fed dogs at 5:00pm, and we went to the local community meeting. Our beautiful country town is trying to build a library now. If we have a library in this town, kids can go after school, girl scouts & boy scouts can use for their activity, and anybody who is looking for a paper book can use the library.

午後5時に犬たちにごはんをあげて、私たちは地元のコミュニティーミーティングに行きました。私たちの美しい田舎町は、今図書館を建てようとしています。この町に図書館があれば、子供達は放課後に行くことができるし、ガールスカウトやボーイスカウトの人たちは、自分たちのアクティビティに利用することができるし、それに、紙の本を探している人は誰でも図書館を利用することができます。

One of the local wineries let us use their space for the meeting tonight, and they served their tasty wines for free for everybody.

地元のワイナリーのひとつが、今夜のミーティングのために、場所を使わせてくれました。また、みんなにワインを無料で振舞ってくれました。

One of the local restaurants donated their delicious food for the meeting. We are so proud of our town. Everyone in this town try is a part of the town, and everyone wants to do the right things for this town.

地元のレストランのひとつは、ミーティングのためにおいしい食べ物を寄付してくれました。私たちは、自分たちの町を誇りに思っています。この町のみんなが町の一部になろうとして、みんながこの町のために正しいことをしたいと思っています。

The goal we have right now is to build the library by 2020. There are so many things to do till then, and we need to come up with the proper budget. There is no easy way out, but my husband and I are talking what we can do as a local winery in this town. We would like to leave the great facility for the next generation.

現在考えているゴールは、2020年までに図書館を建てるということです。それまでにすることはとてもたくさんあり、適切な予算も立てなければいけません。簡単な道のりではありませんが、主人も私も、この町の地元のワイナリーとして、私たちにできることを話しあっているところです。次の世代のために、素晴らしい施設を残したいと思います。

Forever puppy 〜永遠にパピー〜

Kona: "My parents suddenly got a schedule of wine-tasting for tonight. It doesn't mean they are going to taste the wines. They are pouring. Me? I think I'm going to babysit Ehime."

コナ：「ぼくのパパとママ、今夜突然、ワインテイスティングのスケージュールができたんだ。と言っても、ワインをテイスティングしに行くんじゃないよ。注ぎに行くんだ。ぼく？ぼくは、えひめのベビーシッターするの。」

Ehime: "I'm not a baby anymore."

えひめ：「わたちはもう、ベイビーじゃないでしゅよ。」

Kahlua: "Mentally a baby, aren't you?"

カルア：「精神的にベイビーなんじゃない？」

Ehime: "What!?"

えひめ：「えっ！？」

We are so proud of you, Kahlua. 〜カルアのことを誇りに思うよ〜

Mommy: "Walking through the fog is not my favorite thing to do, but it looks like Kahlua enjoys it. I wonder if he wants to go for a 45-minute-walk with us again."

ママ：「霧を通ってのお散歩は、あんまり好きじゃないんだけれど、カルアくんが喜ぶからね。またみんなで45分のお散歩に行きたいって言うかしら。」

Ehime: "It has been foggy every day these days."

えひめ：「最近、毎日霧でしゅね〜」

Kona: "Can you go for a walk again, Kahlua? This is your fourth morning in a row."

コナ：「カルアくん、またお散歩に行ける？これで、４日連続だけど。」

Kahlua: "I'll do my best."

カルア：「がんばるよ。」

Ehime: "Is this the public bathroom?"

えひめ：「ここって、公衆トイレ？」

Kona: "It smells that way."

コナ：「そんなにおいがするね。」

Ehime: "Then, I'll go bathroom here."

えひめ：「じゃあ、ここでトイレちようっと。」

Kona: "Then, me, too."

コナ：「じゃあ、ぼくも。」

Ehime: "You covered my pee-wee."

えひめ：「にいたまが、わたちのチッチのカバーちた。」

Mommy: "We walked a lot."

ママ：「だいぶ歩いたわね。」

Kona: "Are you OK, Kahlua? Should we turn around?"

コナ：「カルアくん、大丈夫？引き返そうか？」

Kahlua: "I think I'm doing good. Why don't we turn around at the neighbor's farm ahead?"

カルア：「大丈夫だと思う。前にあるご近所さんのファームのところで引き返すのはどう？」

Mommy: "That sounds great. Let's do it."

ママ：「いいわね。そうしましょ。」

Mommy: "Now, we are back to our vineyard."

ママ：「さあ、うちのぶどう園に戻ってきたわよ。」

Kona: "Yay. Kahlua, good job."

コナ：「やったね、カルアくん。がんばったね。」

Kahlua: "Thank you, Kona."

カルア：「ありがと、コナ。」

Ehime: "Mommy, I'm thirsty."

えひめ：「ママ〜。わたち、のどが渇きまちた。」

Mommy: "OK. Kahlua, the house is almost there. Can you walk a little more?"

ママ：「わかった。カルアくん、おうちはすぐそこよ。もうちょっと歩ける？」

Kahlua: "Of course."

カルア：「もちろんだよ。」

Mommy: "Let's take a photo before we go in the house. Say, cheese♪"

ママ：「家に入る前に写真を撮りましょ。はい、チーズ♪」

Ehime: "Didn't she take a lot of photos on the walk?"

えひめ：「ママ、お散歩でいっぱい写真を撮ってなかったでしゅか？」

Kona: "She did, but this is her hobby."

コナ：「撮ってた。でもこれは、ママの趣味なんだよ。」

Kahlua: "Modeling for her is our family obligation."

カルア：「ママのためにモデルをすることは、家族の義務だからね。」

At home　おうち

Mommy: "Are you tired, Kahlua? How are your legs?"

ママ：「カルアくん、疲れた？足はどう？」

Kahlua: "If I can't stand up later, you will help me, right?"

カルア：「あとで立てなくなったら、助けてくれるでしょう？」

Mommy: "Of course. Anytime."

 ママ：「もちろんよ。いつでも言って。」
