Daddy: "One pot is with chicken and the other pot is for vegans, right?"

パパ：「お鍋のひとつは鶏肉が入る用で、もうひとつはヴィーガンさん用だね？」

Mommy: "Yes. I hope our wine club members like this dish."

ママ：「うん。うちのワインクラブメンバーさん、このお料理を気に入ってくれるといいけど。」

Mommy: "I've never made curry for over 50 people before."

ママ：「今まで、50人以上の人たちにカレーを作ったことなかったわ。」

Daddy: "It smells good♪"

パパ：「おいしそうな香り♪」

Sachi: "I wish you would make turkey & vegetable rice for 50 dogs."

さち：「50頭の犬用に、ターキー＆お野菜のごはんを作ってくれればいいのに。」

Daddy: "When you have a party, we'll do."

パパ：「さちがパーティをするときには、作ってあげるよ。」

Snow beauty is the paradise. 〜スノービューティーはパラダイス〜

 

Daddy: "Look, honey. It looks like the snow will be sticking on the ground tonight."

パパ：「ママ、見て。今夜は雪が積もるみたいだよ。」

Mommy: "Oh, my! I thought it was cold."

ママ：「わあ！　どおりで寒いと思った。」

Next morning　次の日の朝

Mommy: "Darling, it's the snow beauty! Our vineyards is covered with the snow!"

ママ：「パパ！　スノービューティよ！　ぶどう畑が、雪に覆われてる！」

Daddy: "How beautiful♪"

パパ：「きれいだなあ♪」

Sachi: "Oh, my gosh. This is amazing. Ice cubes that I love are everywhere. Is this the paradise?"

さち：「わあ、これははしゅごい。わたちの大好きな氷があちらこちらに。ここはパラダイスでしゅか？」

Mommy: "Are you actually eating snow?"

ママ：「さっちゃん、雪を食べてる？」

Toys are the treasure. 〜おもちゃは宝物〜

 

Mommy: "Oh, Sachi. Are you holding that toy up?"

ママ：「あら、さっちゃん。そのおもちゃを高い高いしてるの？」

Sachi: "Yes. I kind of start to feel like this is my baby♪"

さち：「うん。なんか、わたちの赤ちゃんみたいに思えてきまちたから。」

Sachi: "Oops. I dropped it because mommy talked to me."

さち：「おっと。落としちゃった。ママがわたちに話しかけるから。」

Mommy: "Is it my fault???"

ママ：「ママのせい？？？」

Makana: "Sachi. You can't drop your baby. Look. You should hold a baby gently like this."

マカナ：「さっちゃん。赤ちゃんを落としちゃダメだよ。見て。赤ちゃんはね、こうやってやさしく抱っこするんだよ。」

Daddy: "It looks... cute♪"

パパ：「なんか‥‥ かわいいな♪」

We saw the snow for the first time on the Central Coast. 〜セントラルコーストで初めて雪を見た〜

Daddy: "Honey, hurry! Come! Look!"

パパ：「ママ、急いで！　来て！　見て！」

Mommy: "Oh, wow! It's snowing! Snow on the Central Coast, California!?"

ママ：「わあ！　雪！　カリフォルニア州セントラルコーストに雪！？」

Mommy: "It wasn't snowing when we took dogs out at 6:30am, was it?"

ママ：「朝6時半に犬たちを外に出した時は、雪、降ってなかったよね？」

Daddy: "No, it wasn't. It started right after that."

パパ：「降ってなかった。あの後すぐに降り出したんだな。」

Mommy: "The vines look cold. They just got pruned."

ママ：「ぶどうの木たち、寒そうね。枝の剪定されたばかりだし。」

Daddy: "I think the snow will melt by noon."

パパ：「正午までには雪、溶けると思うよ。」

Sachi: "Ice cubes fell from the sky."

さち：「空から氷が降って来まちた。」

Mommy: "That sounds painful. This is called snow, Sachi."

ママ：「なんか痛そうな響きだわね。さっちゃん、これ、雪っていうのよ。」

Homemade dinner for dogs 〜犬たちの自家製ディナー〜

 

Mommy: "Veggies, ground turkey and brown rice. Everything is ready to cook food for doggies."

ママ：「お野菜、ターキーのミンチ、それに玄米。犬たちのごはんを作る準備が全部できた。」

Sachi: "Please cook soon. I'm so hungry and getting skinny. My back is connecting to my stomach."

さち：「早く作ってくだしゃいよ。しゅごくおなかがすいて、痩せ細っちゃって。背中がおなかにくっついてましゅよ。」

Mommy: "Your back is actually connecting to the counter."

ママ：「背中がくっついてるのは、カウンターだけどね〜」

Sachi: "Is it done?"

さち：「できた？」

Makana: "It smells good."

マカナ：「いい香り。」

Mommy: "I'm cooking veggies now."

ママ：「今お野菜を調理してるから。」

Mommy: "It's almost ready. Oh! Let's put some parsley in it."

ママ：「もうすぐできるからね〜　あっ！　パセリも入れようっと。」

Daddy: "Honey. You can see Venus and Jupiter with the moon now. Do you want to see?"

パパ：「ママ。今、月と一緒に金星と木星が見えるよ。見てみる？」

Mommy: "Oh, wow! They are beautiful! Neptune should be there, but we don't get to see it with the naked eye. It's just romantic thinking about it, isn't it?"

ママ：「わあ！　きれい！　海王星もいるはずだけど、肉眼では見えないわね。考えるだけで、ロマンチックじゃない？」

Daddy: "Yes, it is."

パパ：「そうだね。」

Our first Shin ramen 〜初めての辛ラーメン〜

Mommy: "This is our first time eating Korean Shin ramen. Let's dig in♪ Oh, my gosh! Spicy!!!"

ママ：「これ、私たちの初めての韓国辛ラーメン。さあ、食べましょ♪　うわっ！からっ！！！」　

Daddy: "Oh, yes. It's spicy. But I think we can get used to it, just like Korean kids can."

パパ：「うん、ホントだ。辛い。でも、慣れるんじゃないかな。韓国の子供たちみたいに。」

Sachi: "I wanted to eat Shin ramen, too."

さち：「わたちも辛ラーメン、食べたかった。」

Makana: "Sachi, they said that was spicy. I don't think you can eat."

マカナ：「さっちゃん。あれ、辛いんだって。食べられないと思うよ。」

Sachi: "Then, they should cook noodles in the honey water."

さち：「じゃあ、ハチミツ水でラーメンを作ればいいのに。」

Makana: "Oh, that's a good idea. I think we can eat then."

マカナ：「お、それはグッドアイディア。それならぼくたちも食べられるよ。」

Sachi's creation 〜さちのクリエーション〜

Sachi: "What are those people doing, brother?"

さち：「にいにい。あの人たち、なにちてるでしゅか？」

Makana: "They are in the vineyard for pruning vines."

マカナ：「あの人たちはね、ぶどうの木の剪定のためにぶどう畑にいるんだよ。」

Sachi: "Oh, wow. They are working hard."

さち：「わあ。一生懸命お仕事ちてるんでしゅね。」

Mommy: "The vines can concentrate energy during the growing season. The spring is not far away."

ママ：「これでぶどうの木たち、生育期の間のエネルギーを集中させることができる。春が来るのも、そう遠くはないわね〜」

Sachi: "He he he."

さち：「でへへ。」

Mommy: "What? Why are you smiling, Sachi?"

ママ：「え？　さっちゃん、なんでニコニコしてるの？」

Mommy: "And it looks like your nose has the dirt. Why?"

ママ：「それに、お鼻に土がついてるみたいだけど。なんで？」

Sachi: "Oh, did you notice that? I have something to show you."

さち：「あ、気づいたでしゅか？　ママに見せたいものがあるんでしゅけど。」

Mommy: "What?"

ママ：「なに？」

Sachi: "This one. I did it. I dug this hole. Isn't it amazing?"

さち：「これ。わたちがやったんでしゅよ。この穴、わたちが掘ったんでしゅよ。しゅごくないでしゅか？」

Mommy: "Why are you so proud of yourself?"

ママ：「なんでそんなドヤ顔なのよ。」

Bluefin on the second day 〜クロマグロ、二日目〜

Mommy: "I marinated bluefin tuna today. Can you sear it on the cast iron pan?"

ママ：「今日は、クロマグロを漬けておいたの。キャストアイロンのフライパンで、たたきにしてくれる？」

Daddy: "OK."

パパ：「わかった。」

Daddy: "Here she is again. She is between tuna and me."

パパ：「またやって来たよ。マグロとぼくの間に。」

Mommy: "Haha. It must be good smell for Sachi, too."

ママ：「あはは。さっちゃんにとってもいい香りなのね。」

Makana: "Umm... I want to be there, too."

マカナ：「あの‥‥　ぼくも行きたいんだけどな。」

Mommy: "Let's dig in♪"

ママ：「さあ、食べましょ♪」

Daddy: "It looks like a gorgeous lunch."

パパ：「ゴージャスなランチみたいだ。」

Bluefin tuna 〜クロマグロ〜

 

Daddy: "Wow. Is this bluefin tuna that we got from our club member?"

パパ：「わあ。これ、クラブメンバーさんから頂いたクロマグロ？」

Mommy: "Yes. Oh, my gosh. This tuna almost melts in the mouth. He caught it himself."

ママ：「うん。すごいね〜　このマグロ、口の中で溶けていくみたい。ご自身で捕まえられたんだって。」

Sachi: "I didn't get any tuna. Let's chew a ball here."

さち：「わたち、マグロをもらえなかった。ここでボールをカミカミちてようっと。」

Makana: "I might get a stomachache if I eat the different thing from the ones that I normally eat. I'll just take a nap here. The sun feels good."

マカナ：「ぼくは、いつもとちがう物を食べるとおなかが痛くなっちゃうかもしれないからね。ここでお昼寝してるよ。太陽が気持ちいい。」

インディちゃん：「ふう。ママがワインをエンジョイしている間、私はここで横になろうっと。」

Ari: "Then, I'm going to lay down here."

アリちゃん：「じゃあ、私はここで横になろうっと。」

Mommy: "That's right in front of our counter."

ママ：「そこ、カウンターの真前だけどね〜」

Makana: "Mommy. I think our tasting room is occupied by other dogs."

マカナ：「ママ。ぼくたちのテイスティングルーム、他の犬たちに占領されてると思う。」

Sachi: "Are we retiring from work?"

さち：「わたちたち、お役御免でしゅか？」

Mommy: "Haha. No. We all make the tasting room nice together."

ママ：「あはは。ちがうよ。みんなでテイスティングルームを良くしてるのよ。」
