Kona: "Whohoo!"

コナ：「う〜ふ〜！」

Bazaaaaaaaaan!

バッザーーーーーーーン！

Ehime: "I got a good idea♪ Brother Kona never puts his face in the water, so he has never seen how my legs works under the water. Why don't I show them today?"

えひめ：「あ、いいこと思いつきまちた♪　コナにいはお顔をお水につけないから、水面下でわたちの足がどう動いているか見たことないんでしゅよ。今日見せてあげようかな。」

Ehime: "Brother Kona? You are interested in seeing my legs in the water, aren't you?"

えひめ：「コナにい？水中でわたちの足がどうなっているか、見たいでしゅよね？」

Kona: "No, I'm not."

コナ：「いや、特には。」

Ehime: "Just tell me the truth. You want to see my legs in the water, right?"

えひめ：「本当のことを言って下しゃい。水中のわたちの足、見たいって思っているでしょ？」

Kona: "Not really."

コナ：「いや、そんなことはない。」

Ehime: "Why is this happening?"

えひめ：「あれ？なんで？」

Mommy: "How about you, Kahlua?"

ママ：「カルアくんはどう？」

Kahlua: "Same as Kona."

カルア：「コナと同じ。」

Ehime: "Let's try again."

えひめ：「もう一度。」

Ehime: "You want to see my legs in the water, right?'

えひめ：「水中のわたちの足、見たいでしょ？」

Kona: "Not really."

コナ：「いいや。」

Ehime: "Want to see, right?"

えひめ：「見たいでしょ？」

Kona: "No, thank you."

コナ：「結構です。」

Ehime: "I'm sad, mommy..."

えひめ：「ママ、なんかわたち、さびちい‥‥」

Mommy: "Kahlua and Kona? Why don't you show some interest in your sister?

ママ：「カルアくん、コナくん。ちょっとだけ妹に興味があるってところを見せてあげたら？」

Kona & Kahlua: "OK."

コナとカルア：「わかった。」

Kona: "Ehime? I w... wan.... want to see your legs in the water."

コナ：「水中でのひめたんの足、み‥‥　みた‥‥　みたいな。」

Kahlua: "Umm.... me, too."

カルア：「えっと‥‥　ぼくも。」

Ehime: "Oh, really!? I understand. Since you asked, I have no choice. Fu fu♪"

えひめ：「しょうでしゅか！？わかりまちた。しょんなに言うなら、仕方ないでしゅね〜　うふふ♪」

Ehime: "Let's show everyone!♥"

えひめ：「一挙大公開でしゅよ♥」

Hailstorm in the desert summer! 〜真夏の砂漠地帯で氷雨！〜

Yesterday a little after 1:00pm　昨日午後１時過ぎ 

Mommy: "Darling? Doggies are still tired from the morning walk. Why don't we go shopping for our road trip to Wyoming?"

ママ：「パパ？犬たち、朝のお散歩で疲れているみたい。ワイオミング州へのロードトリップ用のお買い物、今のうちに行っとく？」

Daddy: "That sounds great."

パパ：「そうだね。」

Mommy: "Hmm, the weather is becoming stormy. Please drive safe, darling."

ママ：「ちょっと雨がひどくなってきたいみたい。パパ、運転気をつけてね。」

Daddy: "OK."

パパ：「うん。」

Mommy: "Oh, no! We keep getting a Flash Flood Warning on my phone!"

ママ：「ああ！私の電話にずっと、洪水警報が出てる！」

Right after I checked my phone, our car went through the water mud and got a huge splash by the car. That stopped our air conditioner and the front glass started to become cloudy because of the heat in the car.

電話に出た警報を見たすぐあと、私たちの車は、洪水の水たまりの上を走ってしまい、車の横に大きなスプラッシュができました。そのためにエアコンは止まり、車の熱で、フロントガラスが曇ってきました。

Mommy: "Wow! I think we should get back home."

ママ：「わあ！やっぱり家に戻ろう。」

Daddy: "I think that's a right thing to do."

パパ：「ぼくもそれがいいと思う。」

Desert ground is very hard and it doesn't absorb the water. Because of this, the water has to go somewhere and it causes the big flood.

砂漠の地面はとても固く、水を吸収しません。だから雨の水はあちらこちらに流れて行き、それが大きな洪水を引き起こします。

At home　おうち

Daddy: "Bring your camera, honey! It was a hailstorm in the desert summer!!"

パパ：「ママ、カメラ、カメラ！真夏の砂漠地帯で、氷雨が降った！！！」

Mommy: "What!? Oh, wow! What a weather!"

ママ：「えっ！？わああ！なんてお天気なの！」

Mommy: "We are home."

ママ：「ただいま〜」

Ehime: "Did you come back home already?"

えひめ：「あれ？もう帰ってきたでしゅか？」

As soon as we went in the house, we noticed the water in our courtyard.

家に入ってすぐ、中庭に水がたまっていることに気づきました。

Daddy: "I see the problem. The leaves keeps the water away from the draining area."

パパ：「あ、わかった。通水の場所に落ち葉がたまって、水が流れなくなっているんだ。」

Kona: "Is daddy OK?"

コナ：「パパ、大丈夫？」

Mommy: "He's fine. Don't worry."

ママ：「大丈夫。心配しないで。」

Daddy: "This is the area."

パパ：「ここだな。」

Ehime: "Mommy, I want to play with the water outside, too♪"

えひめ：「ママ、わたちもお外でお水遊びちたい♪」

Mommy: "Not right now."

ママ：「今はダメ。」

Mommy: "How is it?"

ママ：「どう？」

Daddy: "I tried to let the water go through with this machine, but this is too thin to make a hole. Let's ask our gardener what we can do next time."

パパ：「この機械で水を通そうと思ったけれど、細すぎて、穴が開けられなかった。今度庭師さんが来てくれたときに、どうすればいいか聞いてみよう。」

Ehime: "It's boring if we can't go out and play."

えひめ：「お外に出て遊べないなんて、つまらな〜い。」

Kona: "Not going in the pool in the summer is harder than not eating breakfast..."

コナ：「夏にプールに入らないなんて、朝ごはんを食べないことよりつらいよ‥‥」

We are going to Wyoming! 〜ワイオミング州に行きます！〜

Mommy: "Listen, everybody. I have something to tell you guys."

ママ：「みんな、聞いて。みんなにお知らせがあります。」

Kahlua: "What is it?"

カルア：「なに？」

Mommy: "Please listen carefully, OK?"

ママ：「よ〜く、聞いてね。」

Kona: "(swallowing)"

コナ：「（ゴックン）」

Mommy: "We all are going to have a trip."

ママ：「みんなで旅行をします。」

Ehime: "To where?"

えひめ：「どこへでしゅか？」

Mommy: "We are getting in our SUV, and having a road trip."

ママ：「うちのSUV車に乗って、ロードトリップにでます。」

Mommy: "One way probably takes 13-14 hours including rest time. We are going to through Arizona and Utah to get there. Where do you think we are going?"

ママ：「休憩時間を含めて、片道13〜14時間のドライブ。アリゾナ州やユタ州を通って行く場所。さあ、どこかな？」

Kona: "Los Angels, California, to get Asian food from the grocery store called Mitsuwa♪"

コナ：「カリフォルニア州のロサンゼルス！スーパーミツワへアジア系の食料買い出し♪」

Mommy: "No!"

ママ：「ちがいます！」

Mommy: "Don't be surprised. We are actually going to Wyoming to see Chloe, Jack and their parents!!!"

ママ：「驚かないで聞いてよ。実はね、みんなでクロエちゃん、ジャックくん、そして二人のパパさんママさんに会いに、ワイオミング州に行きます！！！」

Dadadadadadadadadada!!!!!

ダッダッダッダッダッダッダッダーーー！！！！！

Mommy: "Wai... Wait! Stop!!!"

ママ：「ちょっ‥‥　ちょっと待って！ストップ！！！」

Mommy: "Where are you going?"

ママ：「どこ行くの？」

Kona: "Where? We are going to pack our suitcase."

コナ：「どこって？スーツケースを詰めに行くんだよ。」

Mommy: "With what?"

ママ：「なにを詰めるつもり？」

Ehime: "First, daddy's new shoes, and..."

えひめ：「まず、パパの新しいくつでしゅよ、しょれから‥‥」

Mommy: "Are we taking those?"

ママ：「あれ持っていくの？」

Kona: "Let's take some dry apples. Although I prefer red apples. Green ones are a little sour. We can share them with Chloe and Mr. Jack."

コナ：「干しリンゴも持っていこうよ。あっ、でも赤いリンゴのほうがいいな。青いのはちょっとすっぱいから。クロエとジャックさんにもわけてあげるよ。」

Mommy: "We can take those with us. Although, I'm not exactly sure if they like dry apples as much as you do."

ママ：「それなら持っていけるかな。でも、クロエちゃんとジャックくん、コナくんほど干しリンゴが好きかどうかわからないな〜」

Ehime: "Then, I'm going to bring my photo. Jack needs one. Fu fu♥"

えひめ：「じゃあ、わたちのブロマイドを持っていくでしゅよ。ジャックくん、ほしがると思うから。うふふ♥」

Mommy: "Umm... we can talk about it later."

ママ：「まあ‥‥　それについては、あとで話し合おう。」

Ehime: "Huh, I just can't wait. How many times should I sleep until we get to Wyoming?"

えひめ：「はぁ。待ち遠ちいでしゅよ。あと何回寝たら、ワイオミング州に到着しゅるでしゅか？」
