Daddy: "I can still hold you up."

パパ：「まだマカナのこと、抱き上げられるぞ。」

Ehime: "Ma-kun looks like a baby."

えひめ：「マーくん、赤ちゃんみたい。」

Makana: "What!?"

マカナ：「えっ！？」

Daddy: "Show mommy your good smile, Makana."

パパ：「マカナ、いいスマイルをママに見せてあげて。」

Makana: "I'm not a baby!"

マカナ：「ぼく、赤ちゃんじゃないもん！」

Ehime: "But you are held up by daddy."

えひめ：「でも、パパに抱っこしゃれてましゅから。」

Makana: "Ahhh!!! I'm going down!!"

マカナ：「あああ！！！　ぼく、降りる〜！！」

Daddy: "Oh, no! Don't move, Makana! You are falling down!"

パパ：「ああ、こらっ！　マカナ、動くなっ！　落ちるぞ！」

Ehime: "How babyish he is."

えひめ：「やっぱり、赤ちゃんだ。」

Mommy: "Darling. It's our 16th anniversary. Let's take one photo in the backyard."

ママ：「パパ。16回目の結婚記念日だから、お庭で写真を一枚撮りましょ。」

Daddy: "That's a good idea. We hope for our long life together. Say cheese♪"

パパ：「いいアイディアだ。これからも一緒に長く生きていけますように。はい、チーズ♪」

Ehime: "That's kind of nice. Maybe I should find another boyfriend. Jack will forgive me."

えひめ：「なんかいいな。わたちも別のボーイフレンドを見つけようかな。ジャックくん、許ちてくれましゅよね。」

The beginning of 17th year 〜17年目の始まり〜

Mommy: "Daddy & mommy purchased this wooden swing 10 years ago in Hawaii. That was a Valentine's Day gift for each other and..."

ママ：「パパとママ、10年前、ハワイでこの木のブランコを購入したのよね。あれは、お互いへのバレンタインデーギフトでね‥‥」

Mommy: "Well, you are not listening to me, Ehime!"

ママ：「って、ひめたん、聞いてない！」

Makana: "Sister! What are you doing?"

マカナ：「ねえた〜ん！　何してるの〜？」

Makana: "Umm... She is concentrating on doing something. May not the best approachable mood right now."

マカナ：「あの‥‥　ねえたん、何かに集中してる。今は、近寄りがたいかも。」

Mommy: "What is she working on?"

ママ：「何やってるのかしら？」

Mommy: "Ahhhh!!! Ehime! Don't dig a hole!"

ママ：「ああああ！　ひめたん、穴掘りしないでよ！」

Ehime: "I was just trying to help gophers make a bigger house."

えひめ：「ホリネズミしゃんが大きいおうちを作るお手伝いをちてただけでしゅけど。」

Mommy: "It's called 'digging a hole'."

ママ：「それを、穴掘りって言うのよ。」

Mommy: "By the way, I was going to tell you, but this swing is..."

ママ：「ところで、ひめたんにお話しするところだったんだけど、このブランコはね‥‥」

Ehime: "......"

えひめ：「‥‥」

Ehime: "Mmm? What is Ma-kun doing over there?"

えひめ：「ん？　マーくん、あそこで何ちてるでしゅかね？」

Mommy: "What?"

ママ：「え？」

Mommy: "Makana! I told you not to dig a hole!"

ママ：「マカナ！　穴掘りしないでって言ったでしょ！」

Makana: "Ahhhh! You scared me!"

ママ：「あああ！　ママ、怖い！」

Mommy: "I was just going to tell you a lovely story of mommy & daddy, because today is our 16th wedding anniversary."

ママ：「ちょっとパパとママのいい話しをしようと思っただけなのにね。今日は、16回目の結婚記念日だから。」

We are not young. 〜若くないからね〜

Ehime: "Ma-kun, let's wrestle. Yaaaaaa!!!!"

えひめ：「マーくん。レスリングでしゅよ。やあああああ！！！！」

Makana: "Ahhhhh!!!! Did you do that to me!?"

マカナ：「あああああ！！！！　やったな〜！？」

Makana: "I'm going to bite you then."

マカナ：「じゃあ、ぼくはねえたんをカミカミしちゃうから。」

Ehime: "Please do more❤︎"

えひめ：「もっとやって❤︎」

Ehime: "I'm going to bite you, too❤︎"

えひめ：「わたちも、マーくんのカミカミちようっと❤︎」

Makana: "Ahhhh!!! You are going to push me off the couch!!!"

マカナ：「あああ！！！　ソファーから落っこちちゃう！！！」

Maybe because they were playing a little roughly, it looks like Ehime hurt her back left leg. She has been limping last some hours. 

多分、ちょっとラフに遊んでいたからでしょうか。えひめは、左後ろ足を痛めたようです。ここ数時間、足を引きずっています。

You & I are not as young as we used to be, Ehime. Let's take care of ourselves.

ひめたん、もうママもひめたんも昔ほど若くないからね。お互い気をつけようね。

The highest temperature today is 90F! 〜今日の最高気温は摂氏32℃！〜

Hana: "What are you going to do to me!?"

ハナ：「私に何してるの！？」

Daddy: "Giving you a shower. You were so sweaty after the exercise."

パパ：「シャワーだよ。運動したら、すごく汗をかいてたから。」

Mommy: "The cold water feels good, right? It's going to be up to 90F today."

ママ：「冷たいお水は、気持ちいいでしょう？　今日は、摂氏32℃まで上がるんだって。」

Hana: "I wish I can get rid of the winter coat soon."

ハナ：「早く冬の毛が無くなって欲しいわ〜」

Daddy: "Let's dry you out outside a little bit."

パパ：「ちょっとお外で乾かそう。」

Hana: "Daddy, I'm sweating again."

ハナ：「パパ〜　私また、汗をかいてきちゃった〜」

Daddy: "What!?"

パパ：「えっ！？」

At home　おうち

Makana: "Sister. Can I have your bone?"

マカナ：「ねえたん。そのカミカミ、ぼくにくれない？」

Ehime: "No. I just started to chew now."

えひめ：「ヤでしゅよ。今カミカミ始めたばかりでしゅから。」

Daddy: "Honey. Would you like some ice coffee?"

パパ：「ママ〜　アイスコーヒー、飲む？」

Mommy: "I would love to. Thank you♪"

ママ：「飲みた〜い。ありがとう♪」

Ehime: "I would love to have some ice cubes!"

えひめ：「わたちは、氷がほちい！」

Daddy: "OK. I'm going to pick one ice cube and..."

パパ：「わかった。氷をひとつつまんで‥‥」

Ehime: "I'm going to eat!"

えひめ：「いただきまふっ！」

Daddy: "Gyaa! You were about to eat my fingers."

パパ：「ぎゃあ！　えひめ、パパの指を食べるところだったぞ。」

Mommy: "Ahaha. She is like an alligator."

ママ：「あはは。まるで、ワニだわね。」

Makana: "Let's steal her bone quietly while my sister is busy eating an ice cube..."

マカナ：「ねえたんが氷を食べるのに忙しくしている間に、こっそりカミカミを盗んでおこうっと‥‥」

Various things happen in life. 〜人犬生いろいろある〜

Makana: "Are you able to jump up on the bed now, sister?"

マカナ：「ねえたん、ベッドに乗れるようになったの？」

Ehime: "For the very first time in my life. I was chasing after you, and I noticed that I'm on the bed in the next moment. By the way, what are you doing, mommy?"

えひめ：「犬生初でしゅよ。マーくんを追いかけて来て、次の瞬間、ベッドに乗ってまちた。ところで、ママは何ちてるでしゅか？」

Mommy: "I hurt my foot again, so I'm cooling it with the ice. I was just hair-drying, and my left food suddenly started to be swollen. I don't know why I get this so often."

ママ：「また足を痛めたの。それで、氷で冷やしているのよ。髪の毛を乾かしていただけなのに、突然腫れてきちゃって。どうしてこう何度も繰り返すのか、さっぱりわからないわ。」

Next morning　次の日の朝

Ehime: "Ma-kun. It was fun walking on the hills, running around and digging in the backyard, wasn't it? Let's take a nap here together."

えひめ：「マーくん。丘を歩いて、走り回って、お庭で穴掘りちて、楽しかったでしゅよね？　ここで一緒にお昼寝ちよう。」

Makana: "I'm already falling asleep..."

マカナ：「もうぼく、寝るところ‥‥」

Good job, Ehime. 〜えひめ、えらかったね〜

Ehime: "Going out♪ I wonder if we are heading to In-N-Out."

えひめ：「おでかけ〜♪　In-N-Outに向かってるでしゅかね〜」 

Mommy: "Not really. We are heading to the vet."

ママ：「ちがうよ。動物病院に向かってるの。」

Ehime: "What?"

えひめ：「え？」

Ehime is going to get the surgical staples removed from her tummy. Since we can't come inside of the building because of the prevention of Corona virus, we need to leave Ehime at the slope getting the advice from vet staff.

えひめのおなかから、手術時に使ったホッチキスの芯（のようなもの）を取り除きます。コロナウィルスを防ぐため、私たちは建物の中に入ることができません。それで、スタッフさんのアドバイスを受け、スロープにえひめを残します。

Daddy: "The staff is coming to you soon, so please don't worry, OK?"

パパ：「スタッフさんがすぐに来てくれるからね。心配しなくていいんだよ。わかった？」

Ehime: "OK."

えひめ：「あい。」

Makana: "I don't want to be away from you, sister."

マカナ：「ぼくは、ねえたんから離れたくないよお。」

Staff: "Should we go, Ehime?"

スタッフ：「さあ、えひめちゃん。行きましょうか？」

Makana: "Sister."

マカナ：「ねえたん。」

Ehime: "Ma-kun."

えひめ：「マーくん。」

Daddy: "It's going to be quick, Ehime. We'll wait for you right here."

パパ：「えひめ、すぐに終わるから。パパたち、ここで待ってるからね。」

Ehime: "OK."

えひめ：「あい。」

Makana: "My sister was kidnapped."

マカナ：「ねえたんが、誘拐された。」

Daddy: "She was not kidnapped. She is coming back soon."

パパ：「誘拐されてない。すぐに戻ってくるから。」

Mommy: "You don't need to worry about Ehime, Ma-kun. Ehime might be getting a treat for being good now."

ママ：「ひめたんのことは、心配しなくてもいいのよ、マーくん。今ごろひめたん、いい子にしてたねって、おやつをもらってるかも。」

Makana: "I'm jealous now. I wish she asked the vet to pack some treats to go."

マカナ：「いいな〜　お医者さんに、お持ち帰り用のおやつを包んでってねえたんが言ってくれてるといいけど。」

Daddy: "Haha. You eat a lot."

パパ：「あはは。マカナは、よく食べるなあ。」

15 minutes later　15分後

Daddy: "She came out. Honey, can you pass me her leash, please?"

パパ：「出てきた。ママ、リードを渡してくれる？」

Mommy: "OK. Here you are."

ママ：「うん。はい、どうぞ。」

Daddy: "How did you do, Ehime?"

パパ：「えひめ、どうだった？」

Ehime: "The vet said I did well."

えひめ：「お医者様は、よくがんばったねって言ってくれまちた。」

Ehime: "Mommy, I finished."

えひめ：「ママ〜、わたち、終わった〜」

Mommy: "Good job, Ehime. It was quick, wasn't it?"

ママ：「えらかったね〜、ひめたん。早かったでしょう？」

Ehime: "Now, let's go home. I want to eat my biscuits."

えひめ：「さあ、帰ろう。わたち、ビスケットが食べたいでしゅから。」

Daddy: "I'm getting hungry, too."

パパ：「ぼくも、おなかがすいたなあ。」

Mommy: "I'm going to make a sandwich with guacamole, turkey lunch meat, tomato and lettuce. Maybe a cup of soup, too."

ママ：「ワカモレやターキーのランチミート、トマト、レタスでサンドイッチを作るわね。カップスープも作ろうかな。」

Makana: "Where is the treat to go, sister?"

マカナ：「ねえたん、お持ち帰り用のおやつは？」

Ehime: "?"

えひめ：「？」
