Mommy: "Golden Blend was so popular yesterday. I'm so happy that people like this wine with the special label of Ehime and Makana."

ママ：「昨日は、ゴールデンブレンドがとっても人気があったわね。ひめたんとマーくんの載った特別なラベルのこのワインを気に入って下さって、とってもうれしいわ。」

Daddy: "We miss Ehime."

パパ：「えひめに会いたいよ。」

Sachi: "Who is Ehime?"

さち：「えひめって、だれ？」

Makana: "Our sister. She was a kind and strong-minded woman."

マカナ：「ぼくたちのねえたんだよ。やさしくて、心のしっかりした女性だったんだよ。」

Sachi: "Should we clean up to welcome chickens here?"

Makana: "Here? No way!"

マカナ：「ここ？　ダメだよ！」

Makana: "They are invaders. You need to bark."

マカナ：「侵入者だよ。ワンワン吠えなきゃ。」

Sachi: "They are not invaders, our guests."

さち：「侵入者じゃなくって、お客様でしゅよ。」

さち：「おいちそうな匂いがしゅる。」

Mommy: "You are right."

ママ：「パパが、大きなビーフの塊肉の味付けをしてるのよ。」

Daddy: "This is mommy's favorite seasoning for Prime Rib."

パパ：「これは、ママが大好きなプライムリブ用のシーズニングなんだよ。」

Sachi: "Where is a big block of beef?"

さち：「ビーフの大きな塊肉、どこ？」

Makana: "Where is Prime Rib?"

マカナ：「プライムリブ、どこ？」

Mommy: "Oh, my. Why don't you be a little more reserved as a lady, Sachi?"

ママ：「あら、まあ。さっちゃん、もうちょっとレディとして控えめしてみたらどう？」

Sachi: "Mmm... I'm sleepy now..."

さち：「んん‥‥ 今、眠い‥‥」

Mommy: "And Ma-kun brought toys that he received as a Christmas gift to the bedroom. Can you put toys away a little bit, Ma-kun?"

ママ：「で、マーくんは、クリスマスプレゼントにもらったおもちゃをベッドルームに持って来ちゃって。マーくん、ちょっと片付けてくれない？」

Makana: "Mmm... I'm sleepy now..."

マカナ：「んん‥‥ 今、眠い‥‥」

Mommy: "Well, you guys played a lot outside when we were building outside furniture this afternoon. You must be tired now. Sleep well, doggies. But please leave a space to sleep for mommy & daddy, though."

ママ：「えっと、ふたり、今日の午後、お外の家具を組み立てるときたくさん遊んだからね。きっと疲れちゃったのね。よく寝てね。でも、パパとママに、寝るスペースは残しておいてよね。」

Our Christmas morning 〜我が家のクリスマスの朝〜

 

Daddy: "Look. Santa Claus brought you a gift since you both were good kids this year."

パパ：「見てごらん。今年ふたりがお利口さんにしてたから、サンタクロースがプレゼントを持ってきてくれたよ。」

Daddy: "See?"

パパ：「ほら。」

Makana: "She has dots. She must be from The Island of Misfit Toys."

マカナ：「斑点がある。きっと、ミスフィットトーイズの島から来た子なんだね。」

Daddy: "Haha. You watch Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer with mommy too much."

パパ：「あはは。ママと、赤鼻のトナカイさんの見過ぎだよ。」

Makana: "Is she a chicken?"

マカナ：「この子は、にわとりさん？」

Daddy: "I think she is a duck."

パパ：「アヒルじゃないかな。」

Sachi: "Please move over, brother. I'm taking this girl to the bedroom now."

さち：「にいにい、ちょっとどいて下しゃい。わたち、この子をベッドルームに連れて行きましゅから。」

Daddy: "Are you going to take a nap with her?"

パパ：「その子とお昼寝するの？」

Sachi: "It's a morning nap. I'll take an afternoon nap in the afternoon."

さち：「朝寝でしゅよ。お昼寝は、お昼にちましゅから。」

Mommy: "One couple in the tasting room yesterday said their daughter bred her Golden Retriever recently. And they are getting one of her Golden Retriever puppies next year."

ママ：「昨日テイスティングルームに来て下さったお客様のご夫婦が言ってたんだけど、娘さんがご自身のゴールデンレトリバーのブリーディングをされたんだって。それで来年、ゴールデンレトリバーのパピーの一頭をお迎えするんだって。」

Mommy: "They invited us to meet puppies after Christmas. I think it's going to be fun!"

ママ：「クリスマスが終わってからパピーに会いに来てくださいって、招待して下さったのよ。きっと楽しいと思うわ！」

Makana: "I wonder if they are bringing one puppy back home."

マカナ：「おうちにパピーを一頭連れて帰ってくるかもね。」

Sachi: "Then, I'll make the puppy as my follower."

さち：「しょの時は、わたちのフォロワーにちてあげましゅから。」

Mommy: "Wow, it's foggy this morning. The vineyard looks so winter-like."

ママ：「わあ、今朝は霧が深いね〜　ぶどう畑が、すっごく冬って感じ。」

Mommy: "Mmm? Don't you want to go outside this morning, Sachi? You normally ask us to open the door by now."

ママ：「んん？　さっちゃん。今朝はお外に行きたくないの？　いつもならこの時間までに、ドアを開けてって頼むのに。」

Sachi: "I'm waiting for the sun to come out. When does it come out?"

さち：「太陽しゃんを待ってるんでしゅよ。いつ出てくるでしゅか？」

Mommy: "It should be out soon. I don't think it's going to rain today."

ママ：「すぐ出てくるわよ。今日は、雨は降らないと思うわ。」

キャスパー：「こんにちは。ぼく、キャスパーです。テイスティングルームに来させてくれてありがとう。」

Mommy: "Wow, you are so polite."

ママ：「わあ、とっても礼儀正しいのね。」

Casper: "Ahhh, sister! You are going to bite me!"

キャスパー：「あああ！　姉ちゃんが噛む〜！」

Birdy: "Because you started!"

バーディ：「あんたが始めたんでしょ！」

Birdy: "Are you still continuing? See? See? "

バーディ：「まだ続ける？　ほれ、ほれ。」

Casper: "Ahhhhh!!! You are mean!!!"

キャスパー：「あああああ！！！　姉ちゃんのいじわる〜！！！」

Mommy: "Do you want to play with them, Ma-kun?"

Rainy days 〜レイニーデイズ〜

 

Mommy: "Are you doing OK in the rain, Serene and Sunny?"

ママ：「セリーンくん、サニーちゃん。雨の中、大丈夫？」

Serene: "We are doing OK."

セリーン：「大丈夫。」

Sunny: "It's a little hard to walk in the mud."

サニー：「泥の中を歩くのが、ちょっと大変だけどね。」

Mommy: "I understand. Doing farm work in the rain is a little challenging. But the vineyard looks great by getting the energy to grow next season."

ママ：「わかるわ。雨の中の農作業はちょっと大変だもの。でもぶどう畑は、次のシーズンに向けてエネルギーをもらえて、うれしいみたい。」

Makana: "I'm going to take a nap on the couch, since we can't go for a morning walk again."

マカナ：「ぼくはソファーでお昼寝するよ。またお散歩に行けないから。」

Mommy: "I know. It has been three days since the rain started. I hope we can go for a walk tomorrow."

ママ：「だよね。雨が降り始めてから、もう三日だものね。明日は、お散歩に行けるといいね。」

Happy Christmas shows 〜ハッピーなクリスマスの番組〜

 

Mommy: "Look. Grinch's heart is growing bigger."

ママ：「見て。グリンチのハートが、大きくなってきてるよ。」

Mommy: "Look! It's huge now!"

ママ：「見て！　巨大になった！」

Makana: "Poor Grinch. His heart is going outside of his body. I think he is sick."

マカナ：「グリンチ、かわいそう。ハートが体の外に出ちゃってる。病気じゃないかな。」

Mommy: "What!?"

ママ：「えっ！？」

Sachi: "I think he should go to the hospital then, unless his body gets bigger to keep his heart inside."

さち：「じゃあ、病院に行かなくっちゃ。ハートより体が大きくないとダメでしゅからね。」

Mommy: "Bigger body... You mean, like Frosty the snowman? Speaking of which, you kind of look like him."

ママ：「大きな体‥‥　フロスティ・ザ・スノーマンみたいに？　そう言えば、さっちゃん、なんかフロスティに似てるよね。」

Sachi: "I don't think so. If I had to pick one, I kind of look like Snoopy."

さち：「似てないでしゅよ。どちらかと言えば、スヌーピーに似てましゅから。」

Mommy: "Well, because you two are both dogs."

ママ：「まあ、ふたりとも犬だからね。」

Makana: "By the way, why have you and daddy been watching the same Christmas shows for 20 years?"

マカナ：「ところで、なんでパパとママ、同じクリスマスの番組を20年も見てるの？」

Sachi: "Aren't you tired?"

さち：「飽きないでしゅか？」

Mommy: "This is our tradition. Let's watch the shows together again next year."

ママ：「うちの伝統だもの。来年もまた一緒に見ようね。」

The company Christmas dinner party 〜会社のクリスマスディナーパーティー〜

 

We held the company Christmas dinner party with our staff yesterday.

昨日、私たちのスタッフさんたちと一緒に、会社のクリスマスディナーパーティを開催しました。

This was one of the busiest years for the winery, and we couldn't have done successfully without them.

今年はワイナリーに取ってもっとも忙しい年で、この人たち無しでは成功はない年でした。

We have a big project planning right now, and we think that the year of 2024 will be even more exciting for the winery. I hope all staff will stay and be happy with us.

現在大きなプロジェクトを計画中で、2024年はワイナリーにとって、さらにワクワクした年となりそうです。スタッフ全員が、このまま私たちと一緒にいてハッピーでいてくれることを祈っています。

Makana: "Hmm... I wonder why Sachi & I didn't get invited for the company dinner. We work at the tasting room, don't we?"

マカナ：「うーん‥‥　さっちゃんとぼく、なんで会社のディナーにお呼ばれしなかったんだろう。ぼくたち、テイスティングルームで働いてるよね？」

Mommy: "Umm... Maybe you two can do the dinner party with us at home?"

ママ：「あの‥‥　おうちでママたちと一緒にディナーパーティしようか？」
