Kahlua became a lion. 〜ライオンになったカルア〜

Chick A: "I heard this bench was bought for $20 at the garage sale."

ひよこA：「このベンチ、ガレージセールで20ドルで買ったんですって。」

Chick B: "They didn't have to do it for us, but we appreciate it."

ひよこB：「私たちのためにこんなことまでしてくれなくてもよかったのに、悪いわね〜」

Mommy: "Well... this bench is actually for people to sit down. But... who cares."

ママ：「いや‥‥　このベンチは人間が座るものなんだけど‥‥　まあ、どっちでもいいわね。」

Happy: "This is my food!"

ハッピー：「これは、母さんのごはんよ！」

Joy: "No, this is mine!"

ジョイ：「ぼくのごはんです！」

Happy: "Well, it's hard to deal with the kids when they are growing."

ハッピー：「もう。大きくなってくると、子供って大変だわね〜」

After taking care of chickens and cows, I decided to wash Kahlua before I started to get ready for dinner. I'm not sure if it's because of his age, but he seems to have more dandruff than before.

にわとりたちと牛たちのお世話が終わってから、夕食の準備をする前に、カルアのシャンプーをすることにしました。年齢的なこともあるのかもしれませんが、以前より、カルアのフケが増えたように思います。

Mommy: "Let's shampoo you, Kahlua."

ママ：「カルアくん、シャンプーをしようね。」

Kahlua: "Umm..."

カルア：「あの‥‥」

Kahlua: "I heard that daddy is calling me, so please excuse me."

カルア：「パパが呼んでいるらしいので、ちょっと失礼します。」

Mommy: "He is not."

ママ：「呼んでないって。」

Mommy: "Do you have any place that you want me to give you a massage, Kahlua?"

ママ：「カルアくん、マッサージしてもらいたいところはある？」

Kahlua: "From the neck to the back, please."

カルア：「首から背中にかけて、お願いします。」

Kahlua: "Mommy. Don't you think the water is too strong?"

カルア：「ちょっと、ママ。お水、強すぎない？」

Mommy: "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm in a hurry, because I've got to cook dinner."

ママ：「あら、ごめんね。晩ごはんの支度があるから、急いでいるのよ。」

Mommy: "By the way, you look so tiny and cute when you are wet❤︎"

ママ：「ところでカルアくん。濡れるととっても小さくなってかわいいね❤︎」

Kahlua: "I told you not to say it. I believe that I'm a big strong guy."

カルア：「それ言わないでって言ったのに〜　ぼくは、大きくて強い男だって信じてるんだから。」

Kahlua: "I've got to dry myself. (rubbing on the chair)"

カルア：「さあ、乾かさなきゃ。（いすでゴシゴシ）」

Mommy: "I have some towels to dry your hair."

ママ：「毛をふくタオル、いくつか持ってきてるよ。」

Mommy: "Oh, your hair is getting fluffy. You are becoming big again."

ママ：「あっ、毛がふさふさになってきた。カルアくん、また大きくなってきたよ〜」

Mommy: "You are becoming a little like a lion. Can you bark?"

ママ：「なんだかライオンみたいになってきたね。ちょっと鳴いてみて。」

Kahlua: "Grrrrrr...."

カルア：「ガ、ガ‥‥」

Kahlua: "Graaaaaaaaar!!! ...... What are you making me do?"

カルア：「ガオーーーーーー！！！‥‥って、なにをさせるんだよ〜」

Mommy: "Ahaha! You are an adorable lion♪"

ママ：「あはは！かわいらしいライオンだわ♪」

Kahlua: "Now, I'm going back home."

カルア：「じゃあ、ぼくはおうちに入るから。」

Ehime: "What!? Is the lion coming in?"

えひめ：「えっ！？ライオンが入ってくるでしゅか？」

Kahlua: "Graaaar!!! Graaaaaaaaa!!!"

カルア：「ガオーーー！！！ガオーーーーーーー！！！」

Kahlua: "(bite)"

カルア：「（パクッ）」

Ehime: "Awww.... I was eaten by the lion..."

えひめ：「あううう‥‥　ライオンに食べられた‥‥」

12th wedding anniversary 〜結婚12周年〜

It's our 12th wedding anniversary! Because we were separated in the different countries before we got married, my husband and I exchanged a lot of e-mails. 12 years later this day, we were separated because my husband went to the grape growers' meeting, and I was taking care of animals. We exchanged a lot of text messages again. We haven't changed a bit. (#^_^#)

結婚12周年です！結婚前、主人と私は別々の国で離れて暮らしていたので、e-mailをたくさん交換しました。12年後のこの日、私たちはまた離れ離れでした。主人はぶどう栽培者ミーティングへ行き、私は動物たちのお世話をしていたからです。私たちはまた、携帯メッセージをたくさん交換しました。以前と何も変わっていない私たちです(#^_^#)。

Kona: "What's Tiramisu?"

コナ：「ティラミスってなに？」

Mommy: "It's an Italian dessert. Today is mommy's & daddy's 12th wedding anniversary. I'm not sure daddy still wants to go out for dinner, but making dessert to celebrate our happy day doesn't hurt us, right?"

ママ：「イタリアのデザートよ。今日は、パパとママの結婚12周年だからね。お外に食べに行くかどうかはわからないけれど、ハッピーな一日のお祝いにデザートを作るのもいいかなあと思ってね。」

Mommy: "Mmm, I love Mascarpone cheese♪"

ママ：「う〜ん、マスカポーネチーズ、大好き♪」

Mommy: "Oh, this coffee is too hot to dip Ladyfingers biscuits. Let's use the ice cubes and make it a little cooler."

ママ：「あら。レディーフィンガーというビスケットをディップするには、このコーヒー、熱すぎるわね。氷を使ってちょっと冷やそうっと。」

Ehime: "Please give me an ice cube."

えひめ：「氷くだしゃ〜い。」

Kona: "I'll take one, too."

コナ：「ぼくもひとつもらいます。」

Kona: "I'll take one biscuit, too."

コナ：「ビスケットもひとつもらいます。」

Mommy: "No, no! I only have enough to make Tiramisu."

ママ：「ダメ、ダメ！ティラミスを作る分しかないから。」

Mommy: "After lining up the coffee-dipped-Ladyfingers in the pan, let's put Mascarpone cream on top. I'm going to make one more layer."

ママ：「コーヒーにディップしたレディーフィンガーを容器に並べて、その上にマスカポーネのクリームを乗せて、と。同じようにして、もう一段上に作ろう。」

Tiramisu needs to be in the fridge for four hours. My husband was still at the meeting. When I took dogs in the backyard, they started to play like crazy.

ティラミスは、冷蔵庫で４時間寝かせなければいけません。主人はまだミーティング中です。犬たちを裏庭に出すと、みんな思いっきり遊び始めました。

Ehime: "Ehime's punch!"

えひめ：「えひめのパ〜ンチ！」

Kona: "Ouch! You did't tell me we were going to do boxing!"

コナ：「いてっ！ボクシングをするなんて言わなかったじゃないか！」

Kahlua: "Stop fighting!"

カルア：「ケンカはやめなさ〜い！」

Kona: "I'm coming!"

コナ：「行くぞっ！」

Ehime: "Come!"

えひめ：「来い！」

Kahlua: "Stop it!"

カルア：「やめなさ〜い！」

(Kona & Ehime hugged.)

（ガシッ）

Kahlua: "...... Is this fighting or their love?"

カルア：「‥‥　これはケンカか？それとも愛情表現か？」

My husband came back home, but took off to the vineyard. I went to feed cows.

主人は家に帰ってきましたが、ぶどう園に行ってしまいました。私は牛たちに、ごはんをあげに行きました。

Joy: "I want to drink the water. I'm thirsty."

ジョイ：「お水、飲みたいなあ。ぼく、のどがかわいてるの。」

Mommy: "Ahhh, Joy. The water is hitting your nose. Can you drink like that?"

ママ：「あああ、ジョイくん。お水、お鼻に当たってるよ〜　それで飲める？」

Happy: "I love my treats♪"

ハッピー：「私、おやつ大好き♪」

Mommy: "I'm glad you can eat well now."

ママ：「ハッピーちゃん、ちゃんと食べられるようで、よかったわ〜」

Mommy: "At 6:00pm now. He is still working in the vineyard. Are we going out for dinner tonight?"

ママ：「いま、午後６時。パパ、まだぶどう園で働いてるわ。今夜私たち、お外に食べに行くのかしら？」

Daddy: "6:30pm now. Let's go to the seafood restaurant you wanted to go to tonight. Happy Anniversary, honey♪"

パパ：「午後６時半。今夜は、ママが行きたがっていたシーフードのレストランに行こう。ママ、ハッピーアニバーサリー♪」

Mommy: "Thank you. I'm looking forward to our 13th year together♪"

ママ：「ありがと。13年目もよろしくね♪」

At the seafood restaurant　シーフードレストランで

Mommy: "Let's eat Ahi tuna salad as an appetiser. Mmm, yum♪"

ママ：「さあ、キハダマグロの前菜サラダを食べよう。ん〜、おいしい♪」

Daddy: "What did you order as your main dish?"

パパ：「メインディッシュは、なにを注文したの？」

Mommy: "Seared scallops. And orange cauliflower and other veggies are delicious, too. I love the restaurant that cares about veggies."

ママ：「表面を焼いたホタテ貝よ。オレンジカリフラワーとその他のお野菜もおいしい。お野菜を大切にするレストランって、大好き。」 

Because the restaurant got to know that we were celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary, they gave us some free dessert and a small bottle of champaign from Napa. We didn't get to eat Tiramisu at home, but we had a great anniversary night.

私たちが、結婚12周目をお祝いしていると知ったレストラン。デザートと、小さなボトルのナパのシャンペーンを無料で下さいました。家でティラミスは食べませんでしたが、ステキなアニバーサリーの夜を過ごさせてもらいました。

Today　今日

Mommy: "What are you two doing there?"

ママ：「ふたりとも、そこでなにしてるの？」

Kahlua: "We are waiting for daddy."

カルア：「パパを待ってるんだよ。」

Kona: "He needs to hold my leash."

コナ：「パパには、ぼくのリードを持ってもらわなきゃ。」
