Makana: "We were that busy during the day, and all has gone suddenly."

マカナ：「お昼間はあんなに忙しかったのに、急にみんなどこかに消えちゃった。」

Mommy: "Because it's getting very cold. I guess people went home."

ママ：「とっても寒くなってきたからよ。みなさん、おうちに帰っちゃったんじゃないかしら。」

Getting ready for club shipment 〜クラブシップメントの準備〜

 

Daddy: "Oh, wow. Did you already pack this many wines for club members?"

パパ：「わあ。もうこんなにクラブメンバーさんたちのワインの梱包をしたの？」

Mommy: "Our staff did while I was with customers."

ママ：「私がお客様と一緒にいる間に、スタッフさんがやってくれたの。」

Mommy: "We have UPS shipping from next Monday on, right?"

ママ：「UPSの発送は、来週の月曜日からだったわよね？」

Daddy: "Yes. We've got to pack wines for shipping."

パパ：「うん。発送用のワイン、梱包しなきゃな。」

Makana: "Should I help you?"

マカナ：「ぼくもお手伝いしようか？」

Mommy: "Well, there is a saying in Japan 'I want to use a hand of cats when I'm busy.' I guess we can use a hand of dogs."

ママ：「まあ、日本には、忙しいときは”猫の手も借りたい”っていうことわざがあるからね。犬の手だって借りたっていいわよね。」

A cold morning without the water 〜お水のない寒い朝〜

It was 24F when we woke up this morning! Brrrr..... When we were getting ready for the morning, the water for the house stopped!

今朝起きたとき、-4℃以下でした！ブルルルル‥‥ 朝の支度をしていたとき、なんと家のお水が止まってしまいました！

Daddy: "Hmmm... We have the water in the well."

パパ：「うーん‥‥ 井戸にはお水があるんだけどなあ。」

Mommy: "The water pipe is probably frozen. I'll go check the water trough for cows."

ママ：「多分、水道管が凍ってるのね。牛たち用の水桶をチェックしに行ってくるわね。」

Mommy: "Oh, no... The ice on the water is pretty thick. Let's break it with the branch."

ママ：「あら、やだ‥‥　お水に張ってる氷、結構分厚いわ。木の枝で氷を砕こうっと。」

Happy: "Phew, I'm glad we are able to drink the water."

ハッピー：「ふう、お水を飲めるのね。よかったわ。」

Mommy: "We cannot wash you two this morning. Let's clean you with the grooming wipes, instead."

ママ：「今朝はふたりのことを洗えないからね。代わりに、グルーミングワイプできれいにしましょ。」

Makana: "OK. I like this."

マカナ：「いいよ。ぼく、これ好き。」

Ehime: "I'm too sleepy to move. You can just clean my right side."

えひめ：「わたちは眠くて動けないでしゅから。右側だけきれいにちてくれたらいいでしゅよ。」

Mommy: "What?"

ママ：「えっ？」

24F tomorrow morning 〜明日の朝は-4℃〜

 

Makana: "Yahoooooo!!! The hail came through!!!"

マカナ：「ヤッホーーーー！！！　あられが降ってきた〜〜〜！！！」

Mommy: "Oh, my. Ma-kun is so excited!"

ママ：「おおお。マーくん、すっごくエキサイトしてる〜！」

Daddy: "It's spring hail. It won't stay for a long time."

パパ：「春のあられだな。長くは持たないよ。」

Ehime: "I thought I would weed here, but it's freezing cold..."

えひめ：「ここで草むちりをちようと思ったんでしゅけど、しゅっごく寒い‥‥」

Mommy: "Let's go in the house, Ehime."

ママ：「おうちに入ろう、ひめたん。」

Makana: "I'm OK. I was born in Idaho."

マカナ：「ぼくは、大丈夫。アイダホ生まれだから。」

Donation event for the local humane society 〜地元の動物愛護協会への寄付〜

 

Daddy: "Wow! The instructor came up with the nice design for the next Paint & Sip."

パパ：「わあ！　インストラクターさん、次のペイント＆シップのイベント用に、いいデザインを考えてくれたなあ。」

Mommy: "Right? It's going to be bottle painting."

ママ：「でしょ？　ボトルペインティングなのよね。」

Mommy: "Participants are painting Kula's recycled wine bottles and will create two wine bottle lights. One for themselves, and the other one for sale at the tasting room until April 10th. All sales are going to be donated to the local humane society to help homeless pets."

ママ：「参加者の皆さまは、クラのワインボトルをペイントして、ワインボトルライトをふたつ作るのよ。ひとつは参加者さん用で、もうひとつは、4月10日までテイスティングルームで販売する用。売上げはすべて、おうちのないペットを救うために、地元の動物愛護協会に寄付させてもらうのよ。」

Daddy: "I hope many people are interested in this event."

パパ：「たくさんの人が、このイベントに興味を持ってくれるといいね。」

Makana: "Homeless pets... I hope there will be more animals can have a happy time with their human parents in the future."

マカナ：「ホームレスのペット‥‥　将来、もっとたくさんの動物たちが、人間のパパやママと幸せな時間を過ごせるようになるといいな。」

Mommy: "I agree."

ママ：「そうだわね。」

Hana & her husband 〜ハナ＆ハナの旦那さま〜

 

Hana: "Oh, there there. That feels great. Massage me more, please♪"

ハナ：「ああ、そこそこ。気持ちいいわ〜　もっとマッサージして〜♪」

Daddy: "I feel so busy."

パパ：「なんか、すっごく忙しいなあ。」

Daddy: "Hana. Why don't we go back now?"

パパ：「ハナ。そろそろ戻らない？」

Hana: "Just a little more. How delicious the snack is on the way back home."

ハナ：「もうちょっとだけ。帰り道のおやつって、なんでこんなにおいしいのかしら。」

Mommy: "Isn't it called 'scavenging for food'?"

ママ：「それって、”拾い食い”って言うんじゃないの？」

Ehime: "Mommy. I want a massage and snack, too."

えひめ：「ママ〜　わたちもマッサージとおやつがほちい〜」

Makana: "We just ate a snack, sister."

マカナ：「ねえたん、今おやつを食べたばっかりだよ。」

Hana's husband, Invincible the beautiful Arabian horse is now at one of the largest horse shows in America. He was shown two days ago, and guess what. He won third place! More excitingly, his baby is growing in Hana's belly. Life is amazing, isn't it?

ハナの旦那さま、素晴らしいアラブ種の馬、インヴィンシブルが現在、アメリカでも大きなホースショーのひとつに出場しています。二日前の出番でどんな結果が出たかというと、なんと３位を獲得しました！もっとワクワクすることは、インヴィンシブルの赤ちゃんが、ハナのおなかの中で育っているということです。生きるって、素晴らしいですね

Mommy: "I'm not saying it's a big deal, but... do you need to put your face on my computer?"

ママ：「大した問題ではないよ。だけどね‥‥ お顔をママのコンピューターに置く必要、ある？」

Makana: "Well..."

マカナ：「えっと‥‥」

Makana: "I don't have to, but it feels nice and cozy being close to a warm blanket and computer."

マカナ：「必要はないよ。だけど、あったかい毛布とコンピューターの近くにいると、気持ちいいんだもの。」

Mommy: " I see. I kind of get that."

ママ：「なるほどね。それはまあ、わかるわね。」

What's in the organic vegetable box? 〜オーガニックのお野菜の箱には何が入ってる？〜

Ehime: "I'm hungry, mommy. Where is my dinner?"

えひめ：「ママ。わたち、おなかしゅいた〜　晩ごはんはどこでしゅか？」

Mommy: "What!? It's still 4:30pm. You need to wait one hour at least."

ママ：「えっ！？　まだ午後４時半よ。少なくても、1時間は待ってもらわなくっちゃ。」

Makana: "Speaking of which, organic vegetable boxes were delivered."

マカナ：「そう言えば、オーガニックのお野菜の箱の配達が来てたよ。」

Mommy: "Oh, that's right. People pickup their subscription boxes in our tasting room. Let's see what veggies are in our box... Oh, there are some carrots this week."

ママ：「ああ、そうだったわね。うちのテイスティングルームでみなさん、定期契約のお野菜の箱をピックアップされるんだものね。うちの箱には何が入ってるかしら‥‥ あら、今週はニンジンが入ってるわ。」

Ehime: "I'll take some for my snacks."

えひめ：「じゃあ、わたちのおやつに、ちょっと頂きましゅか。」

Mommy: "What!?"

ママ：「えっ！？」

I have lactose intolerance 〜乳糖不耐症です。〜

 

I made Tiramisu for a Valentine's Day dessert the other day.  It was delicious, especially on the second day. But... I feel a little stupid saying this, but I got sick by eating Tiramisu that I made. Because I have lactose intolerance.

先日、バレンタインデーのデザート用に、ティラミスを作りました。おいしかったんです、特に二日目は。でも‥‥ ちょっと愚かだなあと思うのですが、自分が作ったティラミスを食べて具合が悪くなりました。私は、乳糖不耐症だったんです。

Makana: "Why do you make the dessert that you can't eat?"

マカナ：「なんで食べられないデザートを作るの？」

Mommy: "I thought I can manage that amount of milk basis product."

ママ：「あれくらいの乳製品なら、食べられると思ったんだもん。」

Ehime: "You should make carrot cake next time, without the sugar."

えひめ：「次回は、キャロットケーキを作るべきでしゅよ。砂糖なちで。」

Mommy: "That's what you want to eat."

ママ：「それって、ひめたんが食べたいものじゃない。」

Ehime: "We were washed again..."

えひめ：「また洗われた‥‥」

Mommy: "Just once a week."

ママ：「一週間に一度だけよ。」

Ehime: "Well, it's sunny today. We will probably get dry quickly."

えひめ：「まあ、今日はお天気でしゅからね。早く乾くかもちれましぇんね。」

Mommy: "Yes. Although, you are in the shade. Don't you want to be in the sun?"

ママ：「うん。でもひめたん、陰になってるよ。太陽のところに出てきたくない？」

Ehime: "Oh, that's true."

えひめ：「まあ、しょうでしゅね。」

Ehime: "By the way, Ma-kun is enjoying digging a hole behind me. Is it OK doing it after being washed?"

えひめ：「ところで、マーくんがわたちの後ろで穴掘りをエンジョイちてるんでしゅけど、洗われたあとなのに、しょんなことちてもいいんでしゅか？」

Mommy: "Oh, no! Stop, stop, Ma-kun!"

ママ：「あら、やだ！　やめて、やめて、マーくん！」

Makana: "♪♪♪"

マカナ：「♪♪♪」
