Mommy: "Beautiful sun rise. It's going to be a good day♪"

ママ：「きれいな日の出。きっといい一日になるわね♪」

Ehime: "We are going out. I wonder if we are going to In-N-Out."

えひめ：「おでかけ〜　In-N-Outに行くでしゅかね。」

Mommy: "We are going to be away from the vineyard for a little while."

ママ：「ちょっとの間、ぶどう園とはお別れよ。」

Daddy: "Let's open the gate. It's going to be a big day♪"

パパ：「ゲートを開けよう。大きな一日になるぞ♪」

Kona: "I guess we are not going to In-N-Out, because daddy is driving today."

コナ：「In-N-Outに行くんじゃないんだね。今日は、パパが運転してるから。」

Ehime: "Are we going to McDonald's then?"

えひめ：「じゃあ、マクドナルドでしゅか？」

Mommy: "Let's take a break. Would you like to eat carrots?"

ママ：「休けいしよう。ニンジン、食べる？」

Kahlua: "Definitely!"

カルア：「ぜひ！」

Ehime: "He he♪"

えひめ：「えへへ♪」

Daddy: "A few more hours to Las Vegas."

パパ：「ラスベガスまで、あと数時間だ。」

Ehime: "Oh! I know this place!"

えひめ：「あっ！この場所知ってる！」

Kona: "Yay! It's Chloe's house!"

コナ：「わーい！クロエのおうちだ〜！」

Mommy: "Chloe's family is not in Las Vegas right now, but they let us use their beautiful house."

ママ：「クロエちゃんご家族は今ラスベガスにいないんだけれど、ステキなおうちを使わせてくれてるのよ。」

Kona: "Then, let's drink the water."

コナ：「じゃあ、お水を飲もうっと。」

Ehime: "Brother Kona, this is not the water bowl. It's the swimming pool."

えひめ：「コナにい、これはお水のボールじゃないでしゅよ。プールでしゅから。」

Ehime: "See you later."

えひめ：”じゃ、またあとで。」

Kona: "Oh, Ehime is swimming without permission."

コナ：「あっ、ひめたんが許可なく泳いでる。」

Kona: "Is that OK?"

コナ：「いいの？」

Mommy: "Yes. I think Chloe's parents asked their worker to take the cover off from the swimming pool for you guys. They are nice, aren't they?"

ママ：「うん。クロエちゃんのパパさん＆ママさんが作業員さんに頼んで、みんなのために、プールからカバーを取ってくれたんだと思うよ。本当に優しい方たちよね。」

Kona: "I swam♪"

コナ：「ぼく、泳いだ♪」

Ehime: "I'll go again♪"

えひめ：「わたち、もう一度♪」

Kahlua: "The water..."

カルア：「お水‥‥」

Mommy: "Kahlua, where are you going?"

ママ：「カルアくん、どこに行くの？」

Kahlua: "Um... I just remember an important errand. I need to be away from the water, unfortunately."

カルア：「あの‥‥　大切な用事を思い出したから、残念だけれどぼく、お水から離れなくっちゃ。」

A road trip in summer 〜夏のロードトリップ〜

Mommy: "Beautiful sky, isn't it?"

ママ：「きれいな空ね〜」

Daddy: "It's about six hours to get back home."

パパ：「家に到着するまで、あと６時間くらいだな。」

Ehime: "I did pee-wee, but it was hot!"

えひめ：「チッチできたけど、暑かった！」

Kona: "I still feel warm. What's the temperature now?"

コナ：「ぼく、まだ暑いよ。今、何度くらい？」

Daddy: "109F. It's about four hours to home."

パパ：「摂氏43℃。家まであと４時間くらいだ。」

Mommy: "We are home♪"

ママ：「おうちに到着♪」

Ehime: "Daddy, hurry! I need to go potty!"

えひめ：「パパ、早く！わたち、トイレに行きたい！」

Our dream is to Cirque Do Soleil! 〜夢はシルクドソレイユ！〜

Ehime: "Daddy? Where did you and mommy go yesterday?"

えひめ：「パパ？昨日パパとママ、どこに行ってたでしゅか？」

Daddy: "Yesterday? Oh, we had an amazing experience."

パパ：「昨日？ああ、すごい経験をしたんだよ。」

Daddy: "We became a friend with the performer who works for Cirque Du Soleil show as a swimmer, because she is a fan of our wine. She bought our wine, so we signed the bottles. And amazingly, she signed the magnet for us from the Cirque Du Soleil show. She was a member of National Japan synchronized swimming team. Mommy and I hope to see her again soon.

パパ：「パパとママ、シルクドソレイユのショーでスイマーとして活躍するパフォーマーさんとお友だちになったんだよ。そのパフォーマーさん、クラのワインのファンなんだって。ワインを買ってくれたから、ボトルにサインをしたんだ。そしたらなんとその人も、シルクドソレイユのショーのマグネットに、パパたちのためにサインをしてくれたんだよ。その人はね、シンクロナイズドスイミングの日本代表だったんだ。またすぐに会えるといいな。」

Enjoying a day 〜一日をエンジョイ〜

At Chloe's house　クロエちゃんのおうちで

Ehime: "What are you doing, brother Kona?"

えひめ：「コナにい、なにちてるでしゅか？」

Kona: "I'm enjoying the lawn that we don't have in our property in California."

コナ：「カリフォルニア州のうちの敷地にはない芝生を、エンジョイしているんだよ。」

At our customer's place　お客様のところで

Surprisingly, our wine customer made lunch for us! We don't normally get good food on a road trip, so the homemade meal made us very happy!

驚いたことに、私たちのワインのお客様が、ランチを作ってくれました！通常、ロードトリップでは、あまり良い食べ物を得られないので、ホームメイドの手料理を頂いて、私たちはとってもハッピーになりました！

Daddy: "Thank you so much for making lunch for us. You made us very happy♪"

パパ：「ランチを作ってくれて、本当にありがとう。とってもうれしいです♪」

Customer: "No problem. Thank you so much for letting me buy your wine♪"

お客様：「大丈夫ですよ。あなたたちのワインを購入させてくれて、本当にありがとう♪」

We are in Las Vegas! 〜ラスベガスにいます！〜

We are in Las Vegas! Chloe and her family are not here, but they are letting us use their beautiful home.

ラスベガスに来ました！クロエちゃんとご家族はいませんが、ステキなおうちを私たちに使わせてくれています。

Kona: "I'm going to swim."

コナ：「ぼく、泳ぎます。」

Ehime: "I already did♪"

えひめ：「わたち、もう泳ぎまちた♪」

Kahlua: "Let's stay hidden. I don't like the water."

カルア：「気配を消そう。ぼくは、お水が好きじゃないから。」

Kula's first red wine was bottled! 〜クラの初・赤ワインがボトリングされました！〜

Ehime: "Breakfast already? It's still 6:00am."

えひめ：「もう朝ごはんでしゅか？まだ午前６時でしゅけど。」

Kahlua: "I can eat anytime."

カルア：「ぼく、いつでも食べられる。」

Kona: "......"

コナ：「‥‥」

Kona: "Mommy, can you help me eat breakfast?"

コナ：「ママ、朝ごはんを食べるの、手伝ってくれる？」

Mommy: "OK. Let me get a spoon."

ママ：「いいよ。スプーン、持ってくるね。」

Today was a big day for us. We bottled our first red wine for Kula Vineyards & Winery! This is not about dogs, but since people normally don't get to see how we bottle our wines, I would like to introduce it with the photos here today.

今日は、私たちにとっても大きな一日でした。クラぶどう園＆ワイナリーにとって、初めて赤ワインのボトリングをしました！これは犬についてのことではありませんが、通常どうやってワインをボトリングするか見れるものではないので、今日はここで、写真と共にご紹介したいと思います。

Opening the boxes of labels, corks and caps

ラベル、コルク、キャップの箱開け

Capes have two holes to let the wine breath.

キャップには、ワインが息をできるように、穴が開いています。

We use the darker bottles for the red wine. The height of the label is going to be the same as Grenache Blanc that was bottled last spring.

赤ワインには、色の濃いボトルを使います。ラベルの高さは、春にボトリングしたグルナッシュ・ブランと同じです。

We have about 75 cases of bottles.

ボトルは、約75ケースあります。

The wine is moved to the container like this from the barrels before bottling. 

ワインはボトリングされる前、樽からこういうコンテイナーに移されます。

Front label shows our winery name, region name and what this wine is. Back label shows what this wine tastes like and what food goes well with it. We are bottling the red blend today.

前に貼るラベルには、ワイナリーの名前、地域の名前、何のワインかが示されています。後ろに貼るラベルには、このワインがどんな味なのか、どんな食べ物がよく合うのか、が示されています。今日ボトリングするのは、レッドブレンドです。

Workers (our winemaker assistant and the person who helps) connects the faucet and hose to the wine container.

作業員さん（ワインメーカーのアシスタントさんとそのお手伝いをしてくれる人）が、ワインのコンテイナーに、蛇口とホースを取り付けます。

Nitrogen to get rid of oxygen between the cork and the wine is in the bottle. Oxygen makes the wine taste bad.

ボトルの中のコルクとワインの間の酸素を追い出すための窒素。酸素は、ワインの味を劣化させます。

Bottles are about to go into the machine.

ボトルが、機械の中に入るところ。

Our corks have our winery name.

コルクには、私たちのワイナリーの名前が入っています。

Workers put the caps on the bottles after the red wine went in.

赤ワインが入ったあと、作業員さんたちが、ボトルにキャップをかぶせます。 

Machine seals the caps.

機械が、キャップの密封をします。

Bottles on the belt conveyor get the labels in front and on the back.

ベルトコンベアのボトルは、前と後ろにラベルを付けられます。

Workers inside put the wine bottles in the box and tape on top. They pushed the boxes down to workers outside. 

中の作業員さんがワインを箱に詰め、上にテープをします。外にいる作業員さんたちに、箱を流します。

Workers outside put our labels on the box and stamp with numbers, and pile them up.

外にいる作業員さんたちが箱にラベルを貼って、番号をスタンプし、積み上げます。

Winemaker assistant leans the container to make sure all the wine is going to be bottled.

すべてのワインがボトリングされるように、ワインメイカーのアシスタントさんが、コンテイナーを傾けます。

At home　おうち

Ehime: "Welcome back home, mommy!"

えひめ：「ママ〜、おかえり〜！」

Mommy: "Ehime, stop!"

ママ：「ひめたん、ストップ！」

Ehime: "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!"

えひめ：「やああああああああ！！！！！！」

Mommy: "Kyaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!"

ママ：「きゃああああああああ！！！！」

Kona: "Did you get hurt?"

コナ：「怪我しなかった？」

Mommy: "I think I'm still alive."

ママ：「まだ生きていると思います。」

Mommy: "We can't wait to taste Kula's first red wine♪"

ママ：「クラの初めての赤ワイン、味見が楽しみだわ〜♪」
