Makana: "It's Bow-Wow Thursday♪"

マカナ：「バウワウサーズデーだもん♪」

Mommy: "And also, the pro-artist who teaches our Paint & Sip is in the tasting room. She brought pencil-designs for the next Pet Portrait class. Pet lovers are here to meet her."

ママ：「それに、うちのペイント＆シップを教えてくれているプロのアーティストさんがテイスティングルームにいらっしゃるからね。次のペットポートレイトのクラスのペンシルデザインを持ってきてくださったのよ。ペット好きな方たちが、アーティストさんに会いに来られてるの。」

Making a barrel table 〜樽のテーブル作り〜

 

Daddy: "Let's hammer down the rims a little bit to make a barrel table."

パパ：「樽のテーブルを作るために、輪っかをハンマーでちょっと落とそう。」

Mommy: "This wooden navel was given from the guy whom we bought the barrel from, but I don't think it fits in here."

ママ：「この木のおへそ、樽を買った男性からもらったけれど、ここにフィットしないみたいよ。」

Daddy: "Let's leave it open for now."

パパ：「今は開けたままにしておこう。」

Mommy: "Let's put on the table that I painted. Mm? I think the table is too small."

ママ：「私がペイントしたテーブルを上に置きましょ。んん？　テーブル、小さすぎたかな。」

Daddy: "It's OK. We are both busy. We don't have time to paint another one before Summer Party on Friday."

パパ：「大丈夫だよ。ぼくたち二人とも忙しいからね。金曜日のサマーパーティー前にもうひとつテーブルをペイントする時間はないもの。」

Makana: "If you two are that busy, you didn't need to wash us this morning."

マカナ：「そんなに忙しいなら、今朝ぼくたちのこと洗わなくてよかったのに。」

Sachi: "That's right. I haven't got used to being washed by the hose yet."

さち：「しょの通り。わたち、ホースで洗われるの、まだ慣れてないのに。」

Mommy: "Sachi, you are tail is moving up & down again."

ママ：「さっちゃん、またしっぽがパタパタしてるよ。」

Laptop dog, Sachi 〜ラップトップドッグ、さち〜

Mommy: "Poke dinner and Viognier actually pair well."

ママ：「ポケとビオニエのペアリング、なかなかいいわね〜」

Daddy: "I like it."

パパ：「気に入った。」

Mommy: "Viognier cuts the acidity from Zucchini noodles salad and the saltiness from Poke in a good way."

ママ：「ビオニエが、ズッキーニヌードルサラダの酸味や、ポケの塩味をいい感じでカットしてくれるの。」

Daddy: "This Zucchini noodles salad is delicious♪ It has sushi vinegar in it."

パパ：「このズッキーニヌードルサラダ、おいしい♪　すし酢が使われているんだね。」

Sachi: "I don't know if I like the salad. Vinegar smells bad."

さち：「しょのサラダ、わたちは好きじゃないかも。お酢ってくしゃいから。」

Daddy: "You are not eating Zucchini noodles salad, but you are eating zucchini in turkey fried rice that mommy cooks for you guys."

パパ：「さちたちはズッキーニサラダは食べないけど、ママがふたりに作るターキーフライドライスの中でズッキーニを食べてるんだよ。」

Makana: "I like turkey fried rice♪"

マカナ：「ターキーフライドライス、ぼく好き♪」

Sachi: "I like turkey fried rice, too, but I would like to have a menu that I can choose from for my dinner."

さち：「わたちもターキーフライドライスは好きなんでしゅけどね、メニューが欲ちいの、わたちが晩ごはんを選べるメニュー。」

Daddy: "Haha. Sachi is saying that you should be the chef for the doggie restaurant."

パパ：「はは。さち、ママに犬のレストランのシェフになってって言ってるよ。」

Mommy: "She is so spoiled. Look at her. She is on your lap."

ママ：「さっちゃんってば、甘やかされてるわね〜　見てよ。パパのお膝に乗っちゃって。」

Nicely walk 〜ちゃんと歩くこと〜

 

At Mid State Fair　ミッドステイトフェアで

Daddy: "Look. 4H or FFA kids are showing their beautiful cows. Judges are deciding for ranking."

パパ：「見て。4HかFFAの子供たちが、素晴らしい牛たちをショーに出してるよ。審査員たちが、順位付けをしているんだ。」

Mommy: "All kids and cows look amazing! I see a little boy smaller than his cow, and he is handling his cow well."

ママ：「子供たちも牛たちも、みんな素晴らしいわ！　自分の牛よりも小さな男の子もいるけれど、ちゃんとコントロールしてるわね〜」

Makana: "These cows can walk much better than a puppy. I sometimes get tired after walking with Sachi on the split leash."

マカナ：「この牛たちの方が、パピーよりもちゃんと歩けるんだね。ぼく、さっちゃんとスプリットのリード（枝分かれしたリード）で歩いてると、ときどき疲れるんだ。」

Sachi: "What? Are you talking about me?"

さち：「えっ？　わたちの話し？」

Mommy: "Your tail is going up & down again, Sachi."

ママ：「さっちゃん。またしっぽがパタパタしてるよ。」

The predator is inside of the gate. 〜プレデターは、ゲートの中にいる〜

 

Sachi: "Mmm? Where did daddy go?"

さち：「んんん？　パパ、どこに行ったの？」

Makana: "Did he forget our bathroom bag?"

マカナ：「おトイレバッグ、忘れちゃった？」

Mommy: "He is going to close the gate, because we don't want deer to come in our vineyard."

ママ：「ゲートを閉めに行ったのよ。ぶどう園にシカさんが入って来られないようにね。」

Mommy: "Our grapes are getting mature. Once they change the color, they get sweeter and sweeter every day. We don't want any predators in the vineyard."

ママ：「ぶどうが成熟してきてるの。いったん色が変わったら、毎日どんどん甘くなるから。ぶどう園に、プレデター（ぶどうを食べる捕食者）を入れたくないもの。」

Makana: "......"

マカナ：「‥‥」

Sachi: "......"

さち：「‥‥」

Makana: "Umm... Daddy! You forgot one here."

マカナ：「あの‥‥ パパ！　ここにひとり忘れてるよ〜」

Sachi: "Here is the one who eats your grapes, daddy."

さち：「パパのぶどうを食べる人がここにひとり、いましゅよ〜」

Mommy: "Are you two possibly talking about me???"

ママ：「もしかしてふたり、ママのことを言ってる？？？」

Daddy: "Oh, no! Look over there."

パパ：「なんてこと！　あそこ、見て。」

Mommy: "What?"

ママ：「なに？」

Mommy: "Oh, deer! Our grapes are changing the color now."

ママ：「あ、シカ！　ぶどうの色が変わってきてるから。」

Daddy: "I'm sure there is another one. We've got to kick them out and close the gate."

パパ：「きっともう一頭いるよ。追い出して、ゲートを閉めなきゃ。」

Makana: "We've got to be good not to be kicked out."

マカナ：「ぼくたちは追い出されないように、いい子にしなくっちゃ。」

Sachi: "I think we are fine. Mommy & daddy love us so much."

さち：「わたちたちは、大丈夫だと思うけど。パパとママに、しゅっごく愛されてるから。」

Dogs from Idaho 〜アイダホ出身の犬たち〜

Sachi: "Are we going out the gate today?"

さち：「今日は、ゲートのお外に出る？」

Mommy: "Yes. The heat seems to be better this morning. Let's go for a little longer walk."

ママ：「うん。今朝は暑さがマシだから、ちょっと長めのお散歩に行こ。」

Sachi: "Yay♪"

さち：「イエーイ♪」

Mommy: "When it's over 100F, it's hard to be out."

ママ：「摂氏38℃以上になると、お外に出るのは大変だものね。」

Makana: "Yes. For dogs from Idaho like us, it's a little difficult to deal with the heat at Central Coast, California."

マカナ：「うん。ぼくたちみたいなアイダホ出身の犬には、カリフォルニア州・セントラルコーストの暑さはちょっと堪えるよ。」

The last puppy shots 〜最後のパピー注射〜

 

Sachi: "Is it too early to go to the tasting room?"

さち：「テイスティングルームに行くには、早しゅぎない？」

Makana: "I don't think we are going to the tasting room."

マカナ：「テイスティングルームに行かないんじゃないかな。」

Daddy: "Sachi, go pee-wee now. You are going inside and get the last puppy shots soon."

パパ：「さち、チッチして。もうすぐ中に入って最後のパピー注射をしてもらうから。」

Sachi: "What!? Shots? Plural???"

さち：「えっ！？　注射？　複数形？？？」

After shots　注射のあと

Sachi: "It was scary going inside, but I think I did a good job."

さち：「中に入るのは怖かったけど、わたち、がんばったと思う。」

Mommy: "Is that so? The assistant nurse looked very tired when she walked you back."

ママ：「そう？　アシスタントナースさん、さっちゃんを送ってきてくれたとき、とっても疲れているみたいだったよ。」

Mommy: "Do you think Sachi is going to be tired today? She got a few shots."

ママ：「さっちゃん、今日は疲れるかな？　注射、数本してもらったもんね。」

Sachi: "Yay, yaaaaay!!!"

さち：「イエイ、イエーーーーイ！！！」

Daddy: "I guess not."

パパ：「ない、な。」
