Wine pickled tomatoes 〜ワイン漬けのトマト〜

Mommy: "Using the leftover white wine, let's make wine pickled tomatoes today."

 ママ：「残り物の白ワインを使って、今日はワイン漬けトマトと作ろう。」

Ehime: "Huh, I think brother Kahlua will be sad to hear this. He would say that tomatoes should be eaten as is."

えひめ：「はあ。カルアにいがこれを聞いたら悲ちみましゅよ。にいたまならきっと、トマトはしょのまま食べるべきだって言いましゅから。」

Mommy: "A little tip to peel the skin in the short time is to poke the tomatoes with a bamboo skewer before boiling them. This helps to get cracks on the tomatoes easily."

ママ：「短時間で皮むきするコツは、トマトを沸騰したお湯に入れる前に、竹串でトマトを刺すこと。こうしておけば、簡単にトマトの皮にヒビが入るから。」

Mommy: "Good. It's easy to peel♪"

ママ：「よし。皮むき、簡単♪」

Ehime: "Sorry, brother Kahlua. I can't stop mommy."

えひめ：「ごめんね、カルアにい。ママを止められなくて。」

Mommy: "After burning off alcohol, let's put 1/2 cup of organic sugar."

ママ：「アルコールを飛ばしたら、オーガニックのお砂糖を1/2カップ入れよう。」

Mommy: "Then, cooking tomatoes just for a short time."

ママ：「それから、トマトをちょっとだけ煮る、と。」

Mommy: "I'm going to serve this as a side dish for lunch & dinner. How is the taste, darling?"

ママ：「ランチやディナーのサイドディッシュとして出そうっと。パパ、お味のほうはどう？」

Daddy: "They are like candies!"

パパ：「まるで、キャンディーみたいだ！」

Makana: "I prefer the steak to the candies."

マカナ：「ぼく、キャンディーよりステーキのほうがいい。」
