Cute little ginger cookies♪ 〜ちょっとかわいいジンジャークッキー♪〜

Kona: "Ginger... It doesn't sound like something for dogs."

コナ：「ジンジャーか‥‥　犬用のものじゃないみたいだな。」

Kahlua: "Zzzz...."

カルア：「Zzzz....」

Mommy: "This ginger cookie recipe has a pretty good amount of powdered ginger."

ママ：「このジンジャークッキーのレシピ、結構な量のジンジャーパウダーが入っているのよね。」

Kona: "I'm going to fall asleep in the kitchen."

コナ：「ぼく、キッチンで寝ることにするよ。」

Mommy: "OK. Thank you for keeping company with me."

ママ：「わかった。付き合ってくれてありがとね。」

Mommy: "I thought of using the bottom of a Mason jar to flatten the dough, but I'll just go with the way I've been doing last 14 years. That is..."

ママ：「生地を平らにするのにメイソンジャーの底を使おうと思ったけれど、やっぱり過去14年間やってきた方法にしようっと。それは‥‥」

Mommy: "Pushing the ball of the dough down to the sugar plate♪ In this way, you can put the sugar on at the same time."

ママ：「お砂糖の入ったお皿に、ボール状にした生地を押し付ける方法♪ これだと、同時にお砂糖もつけられるしね。」

Mommy: "Good♪"

ママ：「よし♪」

Ehime: "Do you need the skill?"

えひめ：「しょのスキル、必要？」

Mommy: "Umm.... maybe as a housewife, yes♪"

ママ：「えっと‥‥　まあ、主婦としては、かな♪」

Mommy: "Let's take ginger cookies from the oven... Oh, they look great!"

ママ：「オーブンからジンジャークッキーを出そう‥‥　あら、いい感じ！」

Mommy: "I don't know why, but I always like to use the same spatula for cookies. It's my habit, I guess."

ママ：「なぜだかわからないけれど、クッキーには、いつも同じスパチュラを使うのよね。きっと癖だわね。」

Ehime: "Mommy, I need to go pee-wee."

えひめ：「ママ〜、おちっこ。」

Mommy: "OK. I should get lunch ready now."

ママ：「はい。そろそろランチの準備をしなきゃ。」

After lunch　ランチのあと

Mommy: "Is this what you are looking for?"

ママ：「これは、あなたが探しているものですか？」

Kahlua: "Yes. But please give me many of them."

カルア：「はい。でもたくさんお願いします。」

Mommy: "Now, let's start to decorate ginger cookies. First dipping in the frosting."

ママ：「今度は、ジンジャークッキーのデコレーションをしよう。まずは、フロストにディップして、と。」

Kahlua: "Can I help you?"

カルア：「お手伝いしようか？」

Mommy: "What help can you do?"

ママ：「どういうお手伝いをしてくれるの？」

Mommy: "Let's draw the holly. First, I'm starting with drawing leaves."

 ママ：「ヒイラギの絵を描こう。まずは、葉っぱから。」

At 2:30pm　午後2時半

Ehime: "Can we eat the biscuit yet?"

えひめ：「もうビスケット、食べてもいいでしゅか？」

Kona: "We've been waiting for some time, haven't we?"

コナ：「もうだいぶ待ってるよね？」

Mommy: "OK! Eat!"

ママ：「はい！食べて！」

Kona: "Are you still working on the decoration?"

コナ：「まだデコレーションをやってるの？」

Mommy: "I'm almost finishing them."

ママ：「あと少しで終わり。」

Mommy: "Done. I think they are cute♪"

ママ：「できた〜　かわいい〜♪」

Kona: "Then, we are going to sunbathe for a while."

コナ：「じゃあ、ぼくたちは、しばらく日光浴をしてくるね。」

Mommy: "OK. Have fun."

ママ：「はい。楽しんできてね。」

Ehime: "I'm going, too."

えひめ：「わたちも行こうっと。」
