Replanting 〜植えかえ〜

Mommy: "Kahlua? I'm replanting the pots in the bathroom. Can you watch Ehime not to come closer to me?"

ママ：「カルア？ママ、バスルームで鉢植えの植えかえをしているから、ひめたんが近づいてこないように見ててくれる？」

Kahlua: "OK."

カルア：「わかった。」

Ehime: "Here. Did you call me, mommy?"

えひめ：「どっこいしょ。ママ？わたちのこと、呼びまちたか？」

Mommy: "Kahlua! Ehime is here!"

ママ：「カルアー！ひめたん、来ちゃったよ〜」

Kahlua: "Sorry, mommy. Ehime said I can have her favorite spot for my nap today if I let her go. (#^o^#)"

カルア：「ごめんね、ママ。もし通してあげたら、ひめたんのお気に入りの場所を、今日のぼくのお昼寝用に使わせてくれるって、ひめたんが言うから (#^o^#)」

Mommy: "You were bribed..."

ママ：「買収されたわね‥‥」

Ehime: "So, what are you doing, mommy?"

えひめ：「それでママ、何をちてるでしゅか？」

Mommy: "I'm replanting the plants to the bigger pots. They are too big in the original pots now."

ママ：「ちょっと大きめの鉢植えへの植物の植えかえ。もう今までの鉢植えじゃ、窮屈そうだから。」

Mommy: "See? This is happier in the bigger pot, don't you think?"

ママ：「ほら。これなんか、大きな鉢植えに入れてもらって、うれしそうじゃない？」

Kona: "Show me. Yeah, definitely."

コナ：「ぼくにも見せて。あ、ホントだ。」

Mommy: "Look. This is the desert plant. It really looks like Las Vegas plant, doesn't it?"

 ママ：「見て。これは、砂漠の植物なの。とってもラスベガスって感じでしょ？」

Kona: "Yes, it is."

コナ：「うん、そんな感じ。」

Mommy: "I hope they settle in the new houses."

ママ：「新しいおうちで落ち着いてくれるといいな〜」

Kona: "I'm sure they will."

コナ：「きっと大丈夫だよ。」

Kona: "Do you have any other plants there?"

コナ：「まだあるの？」

Mommy: "Yes, I do."

ママ：「あるよ。」

Mommy: "This is called 'snake plant'. It was only 10cm when I bought. The little tag said the height is going to be 48-61cm."

ママ：「これはね、”スネークプラント”って言うの。ママが買ったときには、10センチくらいだったんだよ。一緒についてきたタグを見ると、高さは48−61センチくらいになるって書いてある。」

Kona: "48-61cm? This is taller than that, isn't it?"

コナ：「48−61センチ？それよりもっと大きいんじゃない？」

Mommy: "I know... It's probably over 80cm. I don't know why it grows so big..."

ママ：「そうなのよ‥‥　多分80センチ以上はあるかな。どうしてこんなに大きくなっちゃったんだろう‥‥」

Ehime: "I'm planning to be big, mommy. Maybe about 80 pounds. Fu fu♪"

えひめ：「わたちも大きくなるちゅもりでしゅよ、ママ。多分36キロぐらいでしゅかね。ふふ♪」

Mommy: "You just try to do more exercise, OK?"

ママ：「ひめたんは、もうちょっと運動をがんばってね。」

Ehime: "Mmm..."

えひめ：「ん‥‥」
