Surprise gift 〜サプライズプレゼント〜

"We received a surprise package last Friday."

「こないだの金曜日、サプライズの小包が届いたんだよ。」

"There was only the printing company name as a sender, so at first we didn't know who really sent it to us."

「宛名は印刷会社の名前だけで、誰がしょの小包を送ってくれたか、わからなかったんでしゅよ。」

"Mommy and daddy decided to open the box. And they found...

「パパとママは、その箱を開けてみることにしたんだ。そしたら中には‥‥

a canvas photo stand inside. This family photo was taken by a professional cameraman when we were still in Hawaii, and we can say this is one of the best family photos we have."

キャンバス写真があったんだ。この家族写真はね、ぼくたちがまだハワイにいるときに、プロのカメラマンさんに撮ってもらった写真なんだ。ぼくたちが持っている家族写真の中でも、一番良く撮れている写真でもあるんだよ。」

"This canvas photo is amazingly great. It is like a photo stand, but a photo was printed on the canvas."

「このキャンバス写真、とってもすごいんだ。まるで写真立てのようで、でもキャンバスに写真がプリントされているんだよ。」

"Mommy and daddy didn't order this, so we were wondering who sent it to us."

「パパとママは注文をしていないから、誰が送ってくれたのか、不思議だったんだ。」

"And yesterday, we received a card from our doggie friends, R&H. We found out they sent it us as a surprise gift."

「そして昨日、犬友達のR＆Hさんからカードが届いたんだ。それで、二人がぼくたちにサプライズプレゼントを送ってくれた人たちだってわかったんだよ。」 

"Mommy and daddy are very very happy seeing sister Haley who passed away two months ago in the canvas photo. They put it on top of the fireplace in the family room, so they can see it all the time."

「パパとママは、キャンバス写真の中で、２ヶ月前に亡くなったヘイリーねえたんの姿を見れることがとってもとってもうれしくってね、ファミリールームの暖炉の上に、飾ったんだよ。いつでも見れるようにって。」

"I was not in the photo, because I was not born at that time. But I'm so happy to see my family is happy to see the canvas photo. Thank you so much to R&H for making my family happy by sending a surprise gift."

「わたちは写真の中にはいないんでしゅよ。まだ生まれていませんでちたから。でも、わたちの家族みんながキャンバス写真を見てうれしがるのが、とってもうれしいんでしゅ。R＆Hさん、サプライズプレゼントでわたちの家族をハッピーにちてくれて、本当にありがとでしゅ。」
