Cold morning walk 〜寒い朝のお散歩〜

"Huh... Going for a walk in cold weather is hard..."

「はぁ‥‥　寒い中、お散歩に行くのって大変でしゅよね‥‥」

"It is. But you are the youngest one in the house, Ehime. You can do better than any of us."

「そうだね。でも、ひめたんはこのうちで一番若いんだよ。ぼくたちよりもっと頑張れるよ。」

"Mmm... I guess. But I get more tired when I see...

「う〜ん‥‥　しょうなんでしゅけど‥　こういうのを見るともっと疲れるんでしゅよね。

everyone is exhausted after a walk."

お散歩のあと、みんながしゅっごく疲れている姿。」

"Mmm, I guess we are."

「うーん、まぁ、たしかに。」

"It was a little warmer today, though. The lawn wasn't frozen."

「でも、今日はいつもよりちょっと暖かかったと思うよ。芝生が凍ってなかったから。」

"When it's really cold, even Sago Palms (small palm trees) have ice inside of them."

「本当に寒いときって、セイゴっていう小さいヤシの木の中まで凍っているから。」

"I've seen that."

「しょれ、見たことありましゅ。」

"Also, we are lucky to have a dog waste box for our bathroom on the street."

「それに、ぼくたちはラッキーなんだよ。お散歩の道に、ぼくたちのトイレ用ゴミ箱兼ゴミ袋が設置されているし。」

"Like this."

「こんな感じで。」

"And we get to go for a family walk with mommy and daddy every morning."

「それから、毎朝パパやママと一緒に、家族全員でお散歩に行けるっていうのもいいよね。」

"So let's cheer up and look forward to tomorrow's walk, OK?"

「だから元気を出して、明日のお散歩を楽しみにしようよ、ね？」

"Umm... I'll try. I wish the weather gets a little warmer tomorrow."

「しょうでしゅね‥‥　がんばってみようかな。はぁ‥‥　明日、もうちょっと温かくなってくれるといいんでしゅけど。」
