Mommy: "How cute! Their paws are touching together♪"
ママ：「あら、かわいい！ ふたりの足が、くっついてる♪」
Daddy: "And we didn't stage it."
パパ：「そして、これはぼくたちがくっつけたのではありません。」
Mommy: "Who are you talking to?"
ママ：「誰に話してるの？」
Mommy: "In our current situation, humans can't even shake hands to greet."
ママ：「今の状況じゃ、人間たちは、あいさつに握手することだってできないんだものね。」
Daddy: "That's right."
パパ：「そうだね。」
Mommy: "It doesn't look like doggies mind shaking hands."
ママ：「犬たちは、握手をするのは気にしないみたいね。」
Daddy: "They just like to be connected with someone."
パパ：「誰かにくっついているのが好きなんだよ。」
This morning 今朝
Daddy: "Can I show you this? This is the controller to set on / off the electric fence that I built yesterday."
パパ：「ちょっとこれを見てくれる？ これがコントローラー。ぼくが昨日建てた電気柵の電気をつけたり消したりするものだよ。」
Mommy: "OK."
ママ：「はい。」
Daddy: "When this dial shows the line to the top, it means 'off'. When you twist it to the right side, it means 'on'.
パパ：「ダイアルの線が上を向いている時は、”オフ”っていうことなんだ。右側に向けると”オン”だから。」
Mommy: "OK."
ママ：「わかった。」
Daddy: "I turned it off for now, so let's go inside."
パパ：「今はオフにしてあるから。さあ、中に入ろう。」
Mommy: "OK. I'm coming."
ママ：「はい、行きます。」
Daddy: "I'm going to open the gate to the forest now. Jersey cows should come up this area soon. They are going to eat the weeds this area, so we don't need to weed-whack, right? The grass will grow back in the forest eventually, then we can put cows back to the forest. It's win-win for everybody, right?"
パパ：「今から林のゲートを開けるよ。ジャージー牛たちが、すぐこっちにやってきて、この場所の草を食べるんだ。そしたら、ぼくたちが草刈りをする必要はないだろう？ 林の草もそのうちにまた生えてくるから、その時に牛たちを林に戻そう。みんなにとって、ウィン - ウィンだろう？」
Mommy: "How smart you are!"
ママ：「パパ、頭いい！」
Happy: "Umm... Is this the new buffet for cows?"
ハッピー：「えっと‥‥ ここは、牛用の新しいビュッフェ？」
Daddy: "Welcome to the new world, Happy."
パパ：「新しい世界へようこそ、ハッピー。」
