Freezing cold 〜凍えるような寒さ〜

Makana: "It's none of my business, but..."

マカナ：「ぼくは、まったく構わないんだけど‥‥」

Makana: "How many layers are you wearing, mommy?"

マカナ：「ママ、いったい何枚着てるの？」

Mommy: "So many as I can't say in public. (#^o^#)"

ママ：「公共の場では言えないくらいたくさん。(#^o^#)」

Mommy: "It's a very cold day today. Daddy called me earlier this morning and said 'My pickup truck says 20F! Please watch the irrigation in the vineyard.' So far, it doesn't look like we have any problem with the water pipe."

ママ：「今日は、とっても寒いのよ。パパが今朝早くに電話してきて、”ぼくのピックアップトラックが、摂氏 -7℃って言ってる！ぶどう園の灌漑用水、気をつけて見ててね。”って言ったのよ。今のところ、水道管には問題なさそうね。」

Makana: "Why isn't it snowing outside?"

マカナ：「お外、どうして雪が降ってないの？」

Ehime: "When there is no humidity, it won't snow. It's like Las Vegas."

えひめ：「湿度がないと、雪は降らないんでしゅよ。ラスベガスみたいでしゅから。」

Mommy: "You are right. I see some frost here and there, but not much. This dry coldness is the coldest."

ママ：「ひめたんの言う通り。あちらこちらに霜が降りてるけれど、たくさんじゃないしね。こういう感想した寒さが、一番寒いのよね〜」

Ehime: "I like the heat better than being cold."

えひめ：「わたちは、寒いのより暑い方が好きでしゅよ。」

Mommy: "Me, too."

ママ：「ママも。」

Makana: "I heard that my birth daddy enjoys swimming in the snow."

マカナ：「ぼくの生まれたときのパパは、雪の中で泳ぐのが好きって聞いたけど。」

Mommy: "Oh, I saw the photo."

ママ：「ああ、その写真見たよ。」

Mommy: "I guess Aladdin doesn't mind being cold."

ママ：「アラジンくんは、寒さは気にならないみたいね。」

After the dog walk　犬たちのお散歩のあとで

Mommy: "Oh, no! The water for cows is frozen! I can't break the ice banging with my fist. ...... No one is looking at me now. OK, let's kick with my boots and try to break the ice!"

ママ：「あら、やだ！牛たちのお水が凍ってる！握りこぶしでも氷が割れないわ。誰も見てないわね。よし、ブーツで蹴って、氷を割ろう！」

Mommy: "Oh, no! The water for chickens are frozen, too. But this is easy. I can just get rid of the ice... What!? The water inside of the bucket is frozen, too!"

ママ：「あら、やだ！にわとりたちのお水も凍ってる！でもこれは簡単。氷は取り出せるから‥‥　えっ！？バケツの中のお水も凍ってる！」
