Dog Heaven 〜ドッグヘブン〜

"Mommy? What did you make last night?"

「ママ？きのう、何をちゅくってたでしゅか？」

"Rose Collegen Cream. I got an order from Washington."

「ローズコラーゲンクリームよ。ワシントン州からご注文を頂いたから。」

"You made something else this morning, too, right?"

「今朝もなんかちゅくってまちたね？」

"Calendula lotion. I needed to mail the package today."

「カレンデュラローションよ。今日郵送しなきゃいけなかったの。」

"Are you OK to go back to work now?"

「お仕事に戻っても、大丈夫なんでしゅか？」

"Haley might be seeing me. I want to show her I'm doing OK."

「ヘイリーが見ているかもしれないからね。大丈夫だよっていうところを見せたいの。」

"Mommy? Didn't you get a package today?"

「ママ？今日なんか小包届いてなかった？」

"I did. It was a book called "Dog Heaven". Our dog friends sent it to us."

「届いてたよ。’ドッグヘブン’っていう本。犬友達が送ってくれたのよ。」

"At the beginning, it says 'If you have ever been lucky enough to have a special dog in your life, then you know there is a place called Dog Heaven'."

「最初にね、’もしあなたが自分の人生の中で、この犬は特別だ！って思える犬に出会えるほどラッキーな人なら、ドッグヘブンと呼ばれる場所があることを知っているはず’って書いてあるの。」

"Is that a book about sister Haley?"

「しょれは、ヘイリーねえたまについて書いてある本でしゅか？」

"It's about all dogs. The book says 'Heaven is full of memories from Earth. Sometimes an angel will walk a dog back to Earth for a little visit and quietly, invisibly, the dog will sniff about his old backyard'."

「犬たちみんなについての本なのよ。本にはこうやって書いてある。’天国は、現世からの思い出がたくさんつまっています。時々天使が犬を連れて、現世にぶらっとお散歩にやってきます。静かに、誰の目にも見えないまま、犬はむかし自分がいたお庭で、くんくんとにおいをかぐのです’って。」

"And 'When he is satisfied that all is well, the dog will return to Heaven with the angel.'"

「そして、’みんなが元気でやっているとわかって十分満足したら、犬は天使と一緒に天国に帰るのです’って。」

"Will sister Haley come to our backyard, too?"

「ヘイリーねえたんも、ぼくたちのお庭にやってくるのかな？」

"I believe she will. But Haley will sniff our couch in the family room, instead of sniffing our backyard, probably. (^_^)"

「そうだと思うよ。でもヘイリーなら、お庭のにおいをかぐ代わりに、ファミリールームのソファーのにおいをかぐだろうね。(^_^)」

"I miss her..."

「ねえたまに会いたいでしゅよ‥‥」

"Ehime? Do you remember what we want you to do?"

「ひめたん？ぼくたちがひめたんにやってもらいたいこと、覚えてる？」

"To make everybody busy?"

「みんなを忙しくしゅること？」

"OK, then..."

「わかりまちた。じゃ‥‥」

"Anyone, there? I'm hungry! I need biscuits now!!"

「誰かいないの〜？おなかしゅいたじぇい！今すぐビスケットくだしゃ〜〜い！！」

"I mean... well... anyone here? I need... um... to go back to my work! Zzzz...."

「えっと‥‥　あの‥‥　誰かいない？ぼくは‥‥　あのちょっと‥‥　自分の仕事へ戻らなきゃいけないから！Zzzz....」
