Vet visit 〜お医者様の診察〜

Mommy: "Phew, I'm glad we arrived at the vet safely."

ママ：「ふう、無事に病院に到着できてよかったわ。」

Makana: "......"

マカナ：「‥‥」

Mommy: "You were so barky for the fist 15 minutes in the car. I thought you were going to escape from the wine case."

ママ：「車に乗った最初の15分間、すっごく鳴いたよね〜　ワインケースから脱走するんじゃないかと思ったわよ。」

Makana: "I'm going to..."

マカナ：「脱走‥‥」

Makana: "... escape now!"

マカナ：「‥‥　今します！」

Mommy: "No!"

ママ：「ダメです！」

Makana: "Mmm? Where am I now?"

マカナ：「んん？　ここはどこ？」

Ehime: "On the cooking table."

えひめ：「調理台でしゅよ。」

Makana: "What!?"

マカナ：「えっ！？」

Ehime: "Here is the cook."

えひめ：「ほら、料理人しゃんも。」

Daddy: "He is the vet."

パパ：「お医者様です。」

(Vet stretched Makana's legs)

（マカナの足をグイーン）

Makana: "I... I... I..."

マカナ：「ぼ‥　ぼ‥　ぼくは‥」

Makana: "I don't have a lot of fat yet. If you want to eat, please cook the fatter one first on the floor."

マカナ：「ぼくは、まだあまり脂肪がないので、食べるなら、床にいるぽっちゃりさんをお先にどうぞ。」

Ehime: "Who are you talking about?"

えひめ：「誰の話し？」

Ehime: "Why are you eating the biscuit there?"

えひめ：「なんでしょこで、ビスケットを食べてるでしゅか？」

Makana: "♪♪♪"

A puppy has arrived! 〜パピーがやって来た！〜

Mr. Breeder: "Hello. I came from Idaho to deliver your puppy, Makana."

ブリーダーさん：「こんにちは。アイダホ州から、あなたたちのパピー、マカナを連れてやって来ました。」

Mommy: "Welcome! We've been so waiting for you two coming."

ママ：「いらっしゃい！ふたりが来てくれるの、本当に待っていたんですよ。」

Mr. Breeder: "Hell, Ehime. Here is Makana."

ブリーダーさん：「えひめちゃん、こんにちは。マカナだよ。」

Ehime: "Is he a stuffed toy?"

えひめ：「ぬいぐるみ？」

Mommy: "He is alive!"

ママ：「生きてます！」

Mr. Breeder: "Would you like to hold him? I'm going to explain about the documents I brought with him."

ブリーダーさん：「抱っこしてもらえますか？一緒に持って来た書類のご説明をします。」

Daddy: "OK. He is tiny."

パパ：「はい。小さいなあ。」

After Mr. Breeder left　ブリーダーさんが帰ったあと

Ehime: "Are you sure you are not a stuffed toy?"

えひめ：「ぬいぐるみじゃないって、本当でしゅか？」

Makana: "I'm alive, so please don't eat me."

マカナ：「生きているので、食べないでください。」

Makana: "Well, let's explore now. (smile)"

マカナ：「よーし、ちょっと探索してみるか。（ニコッ）」

Makana: "Yay, yaaay!"

マカナ：「イエイ、イエーイ！」

Mommy: "He is running."

ママ：「走ってるよ。」

Makana: "Oh. The human caught me."

マカナ：「あ、人間に捕まえられた。」

Mommy: "I'm your mommy now. Nice to meet you, Makana♪"

ママ：「これから私がママよ。マカナくん、よろしくね。」

Daddy: "I'm your daddy, Makana. Nice to meet you♪"

パパ：「ぼくが、マカナのパパだよ。よろしく♪」

Mommy: "He looks even tinier when you hold him."

ママ：「パパが抱っこすると、さらに小さく見えるわ。」

At 5:30pm　午後5時半

Ehime: "Let's get the dinner ready. One and 1/4 cup for Ehime, and 1/2 cup for Makana."

ママ：「晩ごはんの用意をしよう。ひめたんには、１と1/4カップ、マカナくんには1/2カップ。」

Daddy: "We heard you didn't eat today since you were on a road trip. Can you eat dinner?"

パパ：「今日は、ロードトリップ中だったから、何も食べなかったって聞いたよ。晩ごはん、食べられるかな？」

(Smelling)

（クンクン）

(Eating)

（パクパク）

Daddy: "It looks like he has no problem eating."

パパ：「全く問題なく食べられるようだ。」

Ehime: "Umm... I have a question."

えひめ：「あの‥‥　質問があるんでしゅけど。」

Mommy: "What is it?"

ママ：「なに？」

Ehime: "When is that boy going back to his own family?"

えひめ：「あの男の子、いつ自分のおうちに帰るでしゅか？」

Mommy: "What!?"

ママ：「えっ！？」

Mommy: "He is going to live here from now on. His name is Makana, your little brother. He is only eight weeks old. Please be a good friend to him."

ママ：「あの子は、これからここに住むのよ。マカナくんっていうの。ひめたんの弟よ。まだ生まれて８週間なの。仲良くしてあげてね。」

Ehime: "Is he my little brother? The one who is putting his paw in my bowl?"

えひめ：「弟？あの、わたちのボールに足を突っ込んでる子が？」

Makana: "♪♪♪"

マカナ：「♪♪♪」

Rebuilding the crate 〜クレートの再組み立て〜

Ehime: "Thank you for building the crate for me. I'm going to use it as my vacation house."

えひめ：「わたちのために、クレートを組み立ててくれてありがとでしゅよ。わたちのバケーションハウスとちて使わせてもらいましゅから。」

Mommy: "No, no! That's not for you."

ママ：「ちがう、ちがう！それ、ひめたんのじゃないから。」

Daddy: "I've got to go to work, but please send me a text when Makana arrives."

パパ：「ぼくは仕事に行かなきゃいけないけれど、マカナが到着したら、メッセージを送ってね。」

Mommy: "I will. It's going to be an exciting day for us."

ママ：「わかった。ワクワクした一日になるわね。」

Getting ready for a puppy 〜パピーの準備〜

Ehime: "What is it?"

えひめ：「しょれ、なんでしゅか？」

Daddy: "This is from Chloe's & Henry's parents."

パパ：「これは、クロエちゃん＆ヘンリーくんのパパさん＆ママさんからだ。」

Ehime: "Is it my birthday today?"

えひめ：「今日、わたちの誕生日？」

Daddy: "Oh, potty pads."

パパ：「おお、トイレパッドだ。」

Ehime: "Why? I don't pee in the house."

えひめ：「え？わたち、家の中でチッチちないでしゅけど。」

Daddy: "Training treats. Nice."

パパ：「トレーニング用のおやつかあ。いいなあ。」

Ehime: "Please give me a training now."

えひめ：「今トレーニングちてくだしゃい。」

Daddy: "Oh, remember Ehime? We made your paw print once."

パパ：「おお、えひめ。覚えてるか？一度、えひめの足型を作ったよなあ。」

Ehime: "That's right. I think that was when I was seven months old."

えひめ：「しょうでちた。あれは、わたちが生まれて七ヶ月の時だったような。」

Mommy: "There are so many things in the box. I'm going to write a thank you message to Chloe's mommy soon."

ママ：「箱にこんなにいっぱい。すぐに、クロエちゃんのママにありがとうメッセージを書くわ。」

Ehime: "Are these all mine? Is it my birthday today? I didn't eat my birthday cake."

えひめ：「これ全部、わたちの？今日、わたちの誕生日？バースデーケーキを食べなかったでしゅけど。」

A thank you card that made us happy 〜ハッピーな気持ちにしてくれたサンキューカード〜

The local dog park needed donations of wines to provide as raffle prizes as a fundraiser this summer. As you know, we are a huge fan of dogs like we have our dogs on our wine label. So we did donate some wine to support them. And today, we received a thank you card with the very nice message from them. 

今年の夏、地元のドッグパークが募金活動の一環として行う抽選用のワインが必要でした。ご存知の通り私たちは、ワインラベルに愛犬を描くほど、犬の大ファンです。それでドッグパークを支援するために、ワインを寄付しました。そして今日、ドッグパークから、とても素晴らしいメッセージが書かれたサンキューカードを受け取りました。

We've never expected that we were going to receive the thank you card from the dog park. Getting to know that we were able to help the local organization made us very happy. 

ドッグパークからサンキューカードを受け取ることなど、全く予期していませんでした。地元の団体の助けになることができたと知ることは、私たちをとてもハッピーな気持ちにしてくれました。

Ehime: "Did we do something good?"

えひめ：「わたちたち、何かいいことちたでしゅか？」

Mommy: "They said that the local dog park had a successful event. We are happy to have been a part of it."

ママ：「地元のドッグパークのイベントが、大成功だったって。その一部になれたことは、うれしいわね。」

Romance 〜ロマンス〜

At tasting room　テイスティングルームで

Daddy: "Look, honey. The lights that I wrapped on the tree earlier today just came on!"

パパ：「ママ、見て。今日ぼくが木の周りに巻いたライト、今ついた！」

Mommy: "They are beautiful! This makes me feel like the holiday season."

ママ：「きれい！これ、ホリデーシーズンって感じがするわ。」

Daddy: "I added the dimmer in the tasting room, too. Do you like turning down the lights?"

パパ：「テイスティングルーム内に、ディマースイッチをつけたよ。照明を落としてみるのはどう？」

Mommy: "Nice!"

ママ：「ステキ！」

Mommy: "The sun goes down earlier these days. When it's dark, I think this feels more warm and romantic."

ママ：「最近は、太陽が早く沈んでしまうからね。暗くなったとき、この方が温かみを感じてロマンチックな感じがするわ。」

Daddy: "I'm glad you like it."

パパ：「気に入ってくれてよかったよ。」

Ehime: "Romantic... I wonder when my next romance is coming."

えひめ：「ロマンチック‥‥　わたちの次のロマンスは、いつ来るでしゅかね。」
