Poke 〜ポケ〜

 

Mommy: "We have salmon poke and ahi tuna poke. Both dishes come with delicious veggies. Poke is a very traditional food in Hawaii. Don't you think we should create more different poke dishes?"

ママ：「うちには、サーモンポケとアヒポケがあるでしょ。どちらも、おいしいお野菜が一緒についてくるの。ポケは、ハワイの伝統的な食べ物だからね。もっと他のポケを作るべきだと思わない？」

Makana: "Not really. I'm not a fan of the texture of raw fish."

マカナ：「別に。ぼく、生魚の食感が苦手だから。」

Mommy: "Umm... I'm sorry I didn't tell you. But I'm thinking about our restaurant menu, not your dinner tonight."

ママ：「あの‥‥ 言ってなくて申し訳なかったけど、ママ、レストランのメニューのことを考えてるのよね、マーくんたちの今夜の晩ごはんじゃなくて。」
