Our nightmare project Part 2 〜悪夢のプロジェクト パート２〜

Ehime: "Our morning walk was fun, wasn't it?"

えひめ：「朝のお散歩、楽ちかったでしゅね〜」

Kona: "I'm glad it was not raining."

コナ：「雨が降ってなくて良かったよ〜」

Kahlua: "The delivered water is the best♪"

カルア：「配達してもらったお水、最高♪」

Daddy: "Let's take the trash cans out to the paved road before we go see cows."

パパ：「牛たちのところに行く前に、舗装道路までゴミ缶を出しに行こう。」

Mommy: "OK."

ママ：「はい。」 

Daddy: "Now, let's cut the wood for the fireplace."

パパ：「今度は、暖炉用の木を切ろう。」

Mommy: "I'm going to clean the chicken coop."

ママ：「私は、にわとり小屋のお掃除に行ってくるわね。」」

There were so many things before we actually started to work for the new project. A little after 11:00am, my husband and I went to the backyard and started to swing the hoe down and shovel the ground again to make our dream patio.

実際に、新しいプロジェクトの仕事を始めるまでにしなければいけないことが、とてもたくさんありました。午前11時過ぎ、主人と私は裏庭に行き、夢のパティオを作るため、またくわを振り下ろし、地面にシャベルを入れる作業を始めました。

By the way, the goal we would like to reach is the smaller version of this.

ちなみに、目指しているゴールは、これの小さいバージョン。

And what we are doing right now is...

そして、現在は‥‥

Mommy: "Woooooooooooo!!!!!"

ママ：「うううううううう！！！！！」

Mommy: "Yaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!"

ママ：「やああああああああ！！！！！」

Daddy: "Great job, honey. Keep going."

パパ：「えらい、えらい、ママ。続けてどうぞ。」

Mommy: "Phew... This ground is so hard. Hey, darling? Isn't it amazing that people in 1800's used the same tools we have now in our hands to plow their land and plant vegetables?" 

ママ：「ふう、ここの地面、本当に硬い。ねえ、パパ？1800年代の人たちって、いま私たちが手に持っているのと同じ道具を使って自分たちの土地を耕して、お野菜を植えたなんて、すごくない？」

Daddy: "I'm sure they used the power of the horses and cows. But yes. I guess it was still a big job to pioneer the new place." 

パパ：「牛や馬の力を借りたと思うけどね。でもまあ、それでも、新しい場所を開拓するのは、大変な仕事だっただろうね。」

Mommy: "Oh! Without realizing, we only need the small space to dig."

ママ：「あら！いつの間にか、掘るスペースは、そこだけになってたよ。」

Daddy: "Great! I'm sure we have to dig deeper, but it was a good progress."

パパ：「よかった！もっと深く掘らなきゃいけないと思うけど、なかなかの進歩だよ。」

Mommy: "I wonder if we can finish our project before this tree starts to have new leaves."

ママ：「この木に新しい葉っぱがつく前に、私たちのプロジェクト、終わるかしらね。」

Ehime: "Why do we have a hole in the ground over there?"

えひめ：「どうちてあしょこの地面に、穴があいてるでしゅか？」

Kona: "That's a pit for Ehime."

コナ：「ひめたんの落とし穴だよ。」

Ehime: "What!?"

えひめ：「えっ！？」

Mommy: "Don't tease your sister. Give me the stuff in your mouth."

ママ：「妹をからかわないの。はい、お口のもの、出して。」

Kona: "Awww...."

コナ：「あううう‥‥」

Ehime: "Is that really the pit for me?"

えひめ：「あれ、ホントにわたちの落とち穴？」

Daddy: "No. That's the pit for coyotes♪"

パパ：「いや。コヨーテの落とし穴だよ〜♪」

Mommy: "Can we just tell the truth that we are making the patio?"

ママ：「パティオを作ってるって、本当のことを言おうよ〜」

Daddy: "I'm hungry. Let's make lunch."

パパ：「おなかすいた。ランチを作ろう。」

Ehime: "Do you need a hand?"

えひめ：「お手伝いちましょうか？」

Mommy: "When it comes to food, no one goes out even when the back door is open."

ママ：「食べ物のこととなると、裏庭へのドアが開いていても、誰もお外に出ないのね。」

Daddy: "Scrambled eggs using the fresh eggs, maple flavored pork sausages and green salad. This is a great lunch after the physical work."

パパ：「新鮮卵を使ったスクランブルエッグ、メープル味のポークソーセージ、そしてグリーンサラダ。体を使った仕事のあとは、こういうランチがいいなあ。」
