Mommy: "Oh, no! The water is shooting from the irrigation tube! I've got to let my husband know."

ママ：「あら、やだ！　灌漑用水のチューブから、お水が吹き出してる！　パパに知らせなくっちゃ。」

Makana: "I hear the water shooting from that direction, too."

マカナ：「あっちの方からも、お水が吹き出してる音、聞こえるよ。」

Sachi: "Oh, yeah. Right there."

さち：「あ、ホント。あしょこでしゅね。」

Mommy: "Oh, no. There are actually four locations that we have the water shooting problem. I wonder if the bunny or gopher chewed the tube."

ママ：「あら、やだ。お水の吹き出してるところが、４箇所もある。うさぎかホリネズミにかじられたのかしら。」

Sachi: "I started to feel excited♪"

さち：「なんか、ワクワクちてきちゃった♪」

Makana: "Sachi is about to run now."

マカナ：「さっちゃん、走り出しちゃうね。」

Mommy: "Please don't. You guys are on leash."

ママ：「それは、やめて。リードで繋がれてるんだから。」

The wildlife in the yard 〜お庭に野生動物〜

 

Mommy: "Oakley's & Kali's mommy sent me a few photos of visitors at their house in Wyoming. This is a moose."

ママ：「オークリーくんとカリちゃんのママさんが、ワイオミング州のおうちにやって来た訪問者たちの写真を数枚送ってくれたの。これは、ムース。」

Mommy: "This is a deer. I wonder how Oakley & Kali are reacting to these wildlife at their yard. I heard they sometimes get a bear, too."

ママ：「これは、シカ。オークリーくんとカリちゃん、お庭に野生動物がやって来たとき、どう反応するんだろうね。ときどき、クマもやって来るって聞いたけど。」

Sachi: "I don't know what to do if I were in their situation. I might run away, because they are big."

さち：「しょの状況になったら、わたち、どうしゅるかわからない。大きい動物だから、逃げるかも。」

Mommy: "You'll probably do that."

ママ：「さっちゃんは、きっとそうするわね。」

Makana: "That's not right. When you encounter a bear, you are supposed to pretend you are dead. Just like this."

マカナ：「ダメだよ。クマに出会ってしまったら、死んだフリをするべき何だよ。こうやって。」

Mommy: "It looks like you are just sleeping on your arm."

ママ：「自分の腕枕で眠ってるだけに見えるけど。」

At Mid State Fair　ミッドステイトフェアで

Daddy: "These are pigs who were already shown."

パパ：「この豚たちは、もうショーに出た子たちだな。」

Mommy: "They are so cute♪ They are cuddling each other."

ママ：「とってもかわいい♪　ぴったり寄り添っちゃって。」

Daddy: "We saw them at Replacement Heifer Auction tonight."

パパ：「この子たちは、今夜の妊娠している若い雌牛のオークションで見たな。」

Mommy: "They were proudly standing on the stage. Some cows were bigger than their FFA kids, but they were handled well on a rope."

ママ：「ステージで、堂々と立ってたわね。牛たちの中には、FFAの子どもたちより大きい子もいたけど、ロープでよくリードされてたわね。」

Makana: "I think I can stand on the stage as long as mommy or daddy holds my leash."

マカナ：「ぼく、ママかパパがぼくのリードを持ってくれるなら、ステージに立てると思う。」

Sachi: "I think I'm going to run away from the stage quickly."

さち：「わたちはしゅぐに、ステージから逃げると思いましゅけど。」

Mommy: "I can see the picture in my mind..."

ママ：「その絵、まるで見えるようだわ‥‥」

Sleepiness 〜眠気〜

 

Mommy: "Oh, Sunny. You are there. You should hurry, otherwise Serene is going to eat up the treats that I just put in the feeder."

ママ：「あ、サニーちゃん。ここにいたのね。早く行かないと、私が餌入れに入れたおやつ、セリーンちゃんが全部食べちゃうよ。」

Sunny: "OK... I'm still sleepy.  I just woke up from a nap..."

サニー：「うん‥‥ 私、まだ眠い。お昼寝から起きたばっかりだから‥‥」

Makana: "I know how that feels like. It's hard to win sleepiness."

マカナ：「その気持ち、わかる。眠気に勝つのは、大変だもの。」

Mommy: "I think you are about to fall asleep."

ママ：「マーくん、眠っちゃうみたいね。」

A successor of the kingdom 〜王国の後継者〜

 

Mommy: "Mmm? Did you see something moving just now?"

ママ：「んん？　今、なんか動いているの、見なかった？」

Chicken A: "What!? Something is here???"

にわとりA：「えっ！？　ここに、何かいるの？？？」

Mommy: "Oh, there she is. A bunny. I don't think that's U-chan since she is running fast. U-chan might be gone by now. If she lives here, let's name her U-chan the second♪"

ママ：「ほら、いた。うさぎさん。うーちゃんじゃないわね、あの子、走るの早いから。うーちゃんは、もうこの世にいないのかもね。もしあの子がここに住んでるなら、うーちゃん2世と名付けよう。」

Chicken B: "Is anyone living here?"

にわとりB：「だれか、ここに住んでるの？」

Chicken C: "Oh, no. That's scary. Let's stay in the coop."

にわとりC：「やだわ〜　怖い、怖い。にわとり小屋にいましょ。」

Mommy: "You three are not walking around much these days. Don't you need exercise?"

ママ：「あなたたち三羽になって、最近あんまり歩いてないわね。運動、しないの？」

Makana: "If they walk to the backyard, I might bark at them."

マカナ：「にわとりさんが裏庭に歩いてきたら、ぼく、ワンワン言っちゃうかも。」

Mommy: "Oh, that's right. You are the one who took over Kahlua's job, which is protecting the kingdom."

ママ：「ああ、そうだった。マーくんが、王国を守るっていうカルアくんの仕事を受け継いだのよね。」

Smoke salmon is delicious. 〜スモークサーモンは、おいしい〜

 

Daddy: "I would like to take a photo of smoke salmon musubi. This is going to be one of our restaurant menu items, right?"

パパ：「スモークサーモンむすびの写真、撮りたい。これ、レストランのメニューのひとつになるんでしょ？」

Mommy: "Yes, it is."

ママ：「うん、そう。」

Mommy: "I love smoked salmon you make in the smoker. We purchased the brand new smoker in the restaurant. Can we smoke salmon with cooks? That way, we can practice making food before we open."

ママ：「パパが燻製するサーモン、大好き。レストランに、新しいスモーカーを買ったでしょ。料理人さんたちと一緒に、サーモンの燻製できる？　そしたらオープン前に、お料理を作る練習ができるし。」

Daddy: "Of course. I can't wait."

パパ：「もちろんだよ。待ち遠しいなあ。」

Sachi: "We can help on tasting salmon."

さち：「サーモンの味見なら、お手伝いちましゅよ。」

Mommy: "Then, first, can you help me pick up toys on the floor?"

ママ：「じゃあ、まず、床のおもちゃを拾うお手伝いをしてくれる？」

Makana: "I have nothing to do with this mess."

マカナ：「この散らかしに、ぼくは関係ありません。」

Makana: "That's my toy! (bite)"

マカナ：「それ、ぼくのおもちゃ！（カプッ）」

Sachi: "No! Mine!"

さち：「ちがうっ！　わたちの！」

Makana: "You know I'm your older brother! (stand)"

マカナ：「ぼくは、さっちゃんのにいにいだぞ！（ダッ）」

Sachi: "Ahhh!"

さち：「あああ！」

Sachi: "You got me. (collapsed)"

さち：「やられた〜（バタン）」

Makana: "What!? Are you OK? I didn't do anything wrong to you, did I? You collapsed yourself, didn't you?"

マカナ：「えっ！？　大丈夫？　ぼく、さっちゃんに何も悪いことしてないよね？　さっちゃん、自分で倒れたよね？」

Sachi: "Please call an ambulance. He he♪"

さち：「救急車、呼んでくだしゃい。えへへ♪」

Let's stay healthy. 〜健康でいましょ〜

 

Mommy: "We can finally eat dinner at home. It has been busy for work recently, and we cannot eat dinner together tonight. But we both appreciate being able to eat this amount of vegetables."

ママ：「やっとおうちで晩ごはんを食べられる。最近仕事をずっと忙しかったし、今夜はパパと一緒に晩ごはんを食べられないし。でも二人とも、これだけのお野菜を食べられること、感謝してるのよね。」

Makana: "I think beef is better than vegetables."

マカナ：「ぼくは、お野菜よりビーフの方がいいと思うけど。」

Mommy: "That's right. You like beef these days."

ママ：「そうだった。最近マーくん、ビーフが好きなのよね。」

Daddy: "I'm glad we got a help from the store men to put the boxes on the pickup truck, because they are heavy."

パパ：「ピックアップトラックに箱を乗せるの、お店の方々に手伝ってもらえてよかったよ。重いからね〜」

Mommy: "Wait. Does it mean we are the ones to unload? Are you telling me to carry these heavy boxes with you?"

ママ：「待って。それって、積み下ろしは、私たちがするってこと？　パパ、私に一緒にこの重い箱を持ってって言ってる？」

Daddy: "I guess I am♪"

パパ：「ま、そういうことになるね♪」

At home　おうち

Makana: "Sachi. Mommy is saying she wants to lend a hand. Can you help her?"

マカナ：「さっちゃん。ママが、手を借りたいって言ってるよ。手伝ってあげたら？」

Sachi: "My hands are not available at this moment."

さち：「わたちの手、今この瞬間は、空いてないでしゅから。」

Sachi: "Huh, I'm so busy. (laying down)"

さち：「はあ、忙ちい。（バタン）」

Makana: "Your hands are available now."

マカナ：「あ。手が、空いた。」

Gold Medal Wine Tasting 〜ゴールドメダル・ワインテイスティング〜

 

We poured at Mid State Fair! Since we received a Gold medal for three wines out of six wines and a Silver medal for other three that we entered the competition. So we were invited to pour at Gold Medal Wine Tasting at the fair yesterday. The fair is not just the place we play around any more. It's also the place where we work, and this is the great honor as a winery!

ミッドステイトフェアで、ワインテイスティングのご提供！　ワインコンペティションにエントリーした６種のワインのうち、３種が金賞を、あとの３種が銀賞を受賞したことを受け、フェアでのゴールドメダルワインテイスティングに招待して頂きました。フェアはもう、遊ぶだけの場所ではありません。働く場所にもなりました。そしてそれは、ワイナリーとして、素晴らしい名誉でもあります。

At home　おうち

Makana: "Lamy is mine!"

マカナ：「ラミーちゃんは、ぼくのっ！」

Sachi: "No! Lamy is mine!"

さち：「ちがうっ！　ラミーちゃんは、わたちのっ！」

Mommy: "Umm.... You missed us while we are away for work..., didn't you?"

ママ：「あの‥‥ ママたちが仕事でいなかった間、さびしかった‥‥ よね？」

マカナ：「むむむ。さっちゃんだけ、パパによしよししてもらって。こんなのフェアじゃない。」

さち：「♪♪♪」

Makana: "I'm getting this space back!"

マカナ：「この場所、返してもらうから！」

Sachi: "Ahhh! You stole my space!"

さち：「あああ！　にいにいが、わたちの場所を取った！」

Sachi: "Give it back to me! Yaaaaa! Oh? Where are you, brother Ma?"

Makana: "Daddyyyyy. I'm here♪"

マカナ：「パパ〜〜〜　ぼく、来たよ♪」

Daddy: "Let's pet you, Makana."
