Homemade lemon curd with house-grown lemons & fresh eggs from our chicken 〜自家栽培のレモン＆にわとりたちの新鮮卵で自家製レモンカード〜

Makana: "Are those tennis balls?"

マカナ：「それって、テニスボール？」

Mommy: "No. They are lemons. I just harvested them outside."

ママ：「ちがうよ。レモン。お外で収穫してきたばっかりの。」

Mommy: "I'm making lemon curd. Lemon curd is great. I can use up both lemon zest and juice."

ママ：「レモンカードを作るの。レモンカードはいいわよ。レモンの皮も果汁も、使い切れちゃうんだもの。」

Mommy: "And also, fresh eggs from our chickens are going in. Isn't it nice to have ingredients from our property?"

ママ：「それに、うちのにわとりさんたちが産んだ卵も入るの。敷地内で材料が手にはいるなんて、良くない？」

Makana: "I guess."

マカナ：「まあね。」

Makana: "But it looks like that's nothing to do with me, so I'm going to take a little nap."

マカナ：「でも、それってぼくには関係ないみたいだから、ちょっとお昼寝するよ。」

Mommy: "OK. I just need to cook in the pan to thicken it for 10 minutes."

ママ：「わかった。あとは、これをトロトロにするのに10分お鍋で温めるだけだから。」

Mommy: "Done! I just tasted, but this is soooooooo delicious!"

ママ：「できた！　ちょっと味見したけど、これ、すっっっっっっっごくおいしい！」

Ehime: "Is lemon curd sour?"

えひめ：「レモンカードって、酸っぱいでしゅか？」

Mommy: "Well.... This was made of lemons. I think it has a good amount of acidity."

ママ：「うーん‥‥　これは、レモンで作られたからね。酸味は結構あると思うよ。」

Ehime: "Then, I don't need it."

えひめ：「じゃあ、いらない。」

Makana: "Me, too."

マカナ：「ぼくも。」

Mommy: "I've never said that I'm going to give it to you."

ママ：「あげるとは、一度も言ってないけど。」

Mommy: "Darling. I made a little snack with yogurt, lemon curd, almond and blueberry. Would you like some?"

ママ：「パパ。ヨーグルト、レモンカード、アーモンド、ブルーベリーで、ちょっとしたおやつを作ってみたんだけど、食べる？」

Daddy: "I would love to. (nom-nom) This is delicious!"

パパ：「ぜひ。（モグモグ）これ、おいしい！」
