One of the common things to happen when you live with Golden Retrievers 〜ゴールデンレトリバーと住むときに起こるあるあるのひとつ〜

 

Daddy: "This reminds me of Kona being happy and his wagging tail knocked our coffee cups off from the table."

パパ：「こうしてると、コナがハッピーになって、ブルンブルンしたしっぽでぼくたちのコーヒーカップをテーブルから叩き落としたことを思い出すなあ。」

Mommy: "That's right. He was also a very happy Golden Retriever."

ママ：「そうねえ。コナも、とんでもなくハッピーなゴールデンレトリバーだったものね〜」

Makana: "I was just chasing after my sister. I didn't think that my tail was wagging that much but I knocked mommy's wine glass from the table."

マカナ：「ぼくはただ、ねえたんを追いかけてただけなんだ。しっぽがそんなにブルンブルンして、ママのワイングラスをテーブルから叩き落とすなんて、思わなかったんだもん。」

Makana: "Do you think you can remove the stain from the rug?"

マカナ：「そのシミ、ラグから取れそう？」

Daddy: "I think so. We are experienced carpet cleaners. We know what to do."

パパ：「大丈夫だと思うよ。パパたちは、経験豊富なカーペットクリーナーだからね。どうすればいいか、知ってるんだ。」

Mommy: "For sure."

ママ：「確かに。」

Makana: "I guess it's good to use the machine from time to time to clean like this. Because it make the rug even cleaner, right?"

マカナ：「こうやってきれいにするのに、ときどき機械を使うのっていいよね。だって、ラグがもっときれいになるんだもんねー。」

Mommy: "Well..."

ママ：「えっとね‥‥」

Mommy: "It might be true, but you don't need to be the one who says it right now."

ママ：「そうかもしれないけれど、今はマーくんがそれを言わなくてもいいんじゃないかな。」

Makana: "I think you are right."

マカナ：「そうでした。」
