Makana: "I'm bored..."

マカナ：「ぼく、退屈‥‥」

Mommy: "Hmm... We've been told to stay home since March, but I'm sure it's a little boring for young ones like you."

ママ：「うーん‥‥　３月からステイホームって言われてるけど、マーくんみたいな若い子たちにとっては、ちょっと退屈だろうね。」

Mommy: "Then, why don't we look at the magazine together?"

ママ：「じゃあ、一緒に雑誌を見るのはどう？」

Makana: "Magazine? But I can read the letters. And this is the wine magazine, isn't it?"

マカナ：「雑誌？　でもぼく、文字が読めないし。それにこれ、ワインの雑誌でしょう？」

Mommy: "It's OK. This magazine also talk about food."

ママ：「大丈夫よ。この雑誌、食べ物のことについても書いてるし。」

Makana: "I see some food photos."

マカナ：「うん、食べ物の写真、あるね。」

Makana: "Look, mommy. This water is red. Is it tasty?"

マカナ：「ママ、見て。このお水、赤いよ。おいしいの？」

Mommy: "Let me see... Oh. This is the strawberry punch to mix with champagne. It's the recipe to make bubbly drink. Yum♪"

ママ：「どれどれ‥‥　ああ、これは、シャンペーンと混ぜるストロベリーパンチよ。アワアワの飲み物を作るレシピね。おいしそう♪」

Makana: "Aww, yuck."

マカナ：「あうう、まずそう。」

Makana: "Oh, here is manga. I didn't know adult people also read manga."

マカナ：「あ、マンガだよ。大人の人も、マンガを読むんだね。」

Mommy: "Those are actually illustrations. But yes. Adult people also read manga."

ママ：「それは、イラストなんだけどね。でもそうね。大人の人もマンガを読むわね。」

Mommy: "Please turn the page, Ma-kun."

ママ：「マーくん、ページをめくって。」

Makana: "Me? Oh, gosh. This is difficult."

マカナ：「ぼく？　ああ、これ、難しいなあ。」

Makana: "I'm tired of this now."

マカナ：「ぼく、もうこれ、飽きちゃった。」

Mommy: "Already? We spent only a few minutes."

ママ：「もう？　まだ数分しか経ってないけど。」
