Thinking about lovely doggies who went to the Rainbow Bridge... 〜虹の橋へ旅だった犬たちを思いながら‥‥〜

There were four adorable dogs who went to the Rainbow Bridge recently. Our neighbor, Jake left this world on June 22nd, Kona's puppy-time-friend in Hawaii, Nalu on July 7th, Hudson in Wyoming right after that, and our blog friend's dog, Riku left yesterday.

最近、４頭もの愛らしい犬たちが、虹の橋に旅立ちました。ご近所さんのジェイクくんは６月２２日に、ハワイにいたコナのパピー時代の幼なじみ、ナルくんは７月７日に、ワイオミング州のハドソンくんは、そのすぐあとに、そして、私たちのブログ友だちの愛犬さん、陸くんが昨日この世を去りました。 

I understand that we all can't live forever, but what a short time we have to be with our loved dogs... I really can't find the beautiful words to explain my feeling now, because it has been so hard for me to let my doggie friends go.

私たち全員、永遠に生きることができないことは理解しています。でも、大好きな犬たちといる時間は、なんて短いのでしょう‥‥　今は、自分の気持ちを表現するきれいな言葉を見つけることができません。なぜなら、私のお友だちである犬たちを送り出すことが、とてもつらいからです。

Ehime: "I'm sad. What about you?"

えひめ：「わたち、悲ちい。にいたまは？」

Kona: "Me, too. I miss them."

コナ：「ぼくも。みんなに会いたいよ。」

Kona: "I hope Kahlua is waiting for them at the Rainbow Bridge, and they can run around together."

コナ：「カルアくんがみんなを虹の橋で待っていてくれて、一緒に走り回っているといいな。」

Kahlua: "Of course, I'm there for them. They and their parents thought of me and gave me a big love when I was suffering. It's my turn to help them."

カルア：「もちろん、ぼくはみんなのためにいるよ。あの子たちとご両親さんたちは、ぼくが苦しんでいるとき、ぼくのことを思い、大きな愛情をくれたからね。今度は、ぼくがみんなの助けになる番だ。」
