Morning fog 〜朝の霧〜

 

Daddy: "Our Lexus is now at the service. We should hear about it tomorrow. Let's go back home in our pickup truck."

パパ：「うちのレクサスを車検に出して来た。明日には、何かしらのお知らせがあるだろうね。さあ、ピックアップトラックでうちに帰ろう。」

Mommy: "Are you OK driving in the thick fog, darling?"

ママ：「パパ、濃い霧の中の運転、大丈夫？」

Daddy: "I think so. I can still see."

パパ：「大丈夫だと思うよ。それでも見えてるから。」

Mommy: "You have good eye sight. I was almost pulling over the Lexus on the way to town, since I couldn't see in front. Then I saw your pickup truck in front at the corner, so I kept driving."

ママ：「パパ、目がいいのね。私は町に行く途中、前が見えなかったから、レクサスを横に寄せて停めようと思ったのよ。そのとき角で前にパパのピックアップトラックが見えたから、運転を続けたの。」

Two hours later　二時間後

Mommy: "Oh, no! Your feet are dirty. I guess the ground was wet from the morning fog. What did you do outside?"

ママ：「あら、いやだ！　さっちゃんの足、汚れてる。朝の霧で地面が濡れてたのね。お外で何したの？」

Sachi: "Well..."

さち：「えっと‥‥」

Sachi: "I don't remember specifically, but I had a good time♪"

さち：「特には覚えてないでしゅけど、楽ちかった♪」

Mommy: "I guess you did."

ママ：「だろうね。」
