We are not good at putting the things away. 〜片付けるのは得意じゃない〜

 

In the morning　朝

Mommy: "Sachi. Don't you think you brought too many toys in? What do you think about putting these away?"

ママ：「さっちゃん。おもちゃ、持ち込みすぎじゃない？　片付けたら？」

Sachi: "Mmm, I don't know how. Please do it for me, mommy."

さち：「うーん、やり方わからない。ママ、代わりにやって。」

Mommy: "Huh..."

ママ：「はあ‥‥」

In the afternoon　午後

Mommy: "Didn't you two chill out too much today?"

ママ：「ふたり、今日はダラダラしすぎじゃない？」

Makana: "I don't think so. I worked hard barking at a cat who was walking in the vineyard."

マカナ：「そんなことないよ。ぼくは、ぶどう畑で歩いてたネコに吠えるの、がんばった。」

Sachi: "I... Well... I did my best for treasure hunting."

さち：「わたちは‥‥ えっと‥‥ 宝探ちにがんばった。」

Mommy: "What's treasure hunting?"

ママ：「宝探しって？」

Makana: "She means digging holes and chewing sticks, and going in the berry bush."

マカナ：「たとえば、穴掘りとか、枝をカミカミするとか、ベリーの木の中に入るとか。」

Mommy: "No wonder I have so many things to put away every day."

ママ：「どおりで、毎日片付けることがたくさんあるはずだわ。」
