Watching a Christmas show 〜クリスマスの番組を見ながら〜

Makana: "Mmm? I've seen this show before."

マカナ：「んん？　この番組、前にも見たことある。」

Mommy: "It's called 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer'. One of my favorite Christmas shows. This is your second Christmas. You've probably seen the show last year."

ママ：「それは、”ルドルフ・ザ・レッドノーズド・レインディア”って言ってね、ママの大好きなクリスマスの番組のひとつよ。今年はマーくんにとって２回目のクリスマスだもんね。きっと昨年見たのよ。」

Makana: "Their movement is a little different from the normal TV show. And what is the black on both sides?"

マカナ：「なんか、普通のテレビ番組のと動きがちょっとちがうね。それに、両サイドの黒いの、なに？」

Daddy: "Oh, did you noticed these things?"

パパ：「おお、気づいたか？」

Daddy: "First, this show was made a long long time ago. So their movement was recorded frame by frame. Secondary, you see the black on both sides because this is the old show. This big TV screen was not created yet at that time."

パパ：「まず、この番組は、ずっと昔に作られたんだ。だからこれらの動きは、コマ撮りで撮影されたんだよ。第二に、両サイドに黒いのが見えるのは、これが古い番組だからなんだ。当時は、こんな大きなテレビのスクリーンなんて、まだ作られてなかったから。」

Makana: "Oh, wow. Are you that old?"

マカナ：「わあ、すごいね。キミ、そんなに歳をとってるの？」

Mommy: "What?"

ママ：「え？」

Mommy: "They don't get old."

ママ：「この子たちは、歳をとったりはしないのよ。」

Ehime: "That's right. I've been seeing this show many times by now, but they are always the same age."

えひめ：「しょうでしゅよ。わたちはこれまで何回もこの番組を見てましゅけど、いっつも同じ歳でしゅから。」

Makana: "Wow, it sounds like you are a vampire."

マカナ：「わあ、キミ、バンパイアみたいだね。」

Ehime: "A reindeer, isn't he?"

えひめ：「トナカイしゃんでしゅよね？」
