Just a little story from the vineyard 〜ぶどう園から、ちょっとした小話〜

Have you seen the wine grapes are still hanging on the vines after a harvest? These are called secondary growth. They are not mature enough to pick at the harvest, so they are usually left on the vines. 

収穫後に、まだツタに残っているワイン用のぶどうを見たことがありますか？　これらは、セカンダリーグロースと呼ばれます。収穫時にはまだ成熟していないので、通常ツタにそのまま残されます。 

Secondary growth grapes mature later, but wineries usually don't bother to spend budget and labor to pick this small amount of them. So these grapes just wait to go back to the nature somehow. Just a little story from the vineyard.

セカンダリーグロースのぶどうは後に成熟しますが、ワイナリーは通常、この少量のぶどうを収穫するために予算や労力を費やすことはありません。これらのぶどうは、どうにか自然に帰るのを待つだけです。ぶどう園から、ちょっとした小話です。

Makana: "Mommy, welcome back! How was the vineyard?"

マカナ：「ママ〜、おかえり〜！　ぶどう園は、どうだった？」

Mommy: "It was good. The vines are getting ready to drop the leaves and sleep in winter."

ママ：「よかったよ。ぶどうの木たち、葉っぱを落として冬に眠る準備をしているよ。」

Ehime: "I see. Well, I guess it's the biscuit time for us, right?"

えひめ：「しょうでしゅか。えっと、思うに、わたちたちのビスケットの時間では？」

Makana: "Biscuit? I'm going to eat, too!"

マカナ：「ビスケット？　ぼくも食べる〜！」

Mommy: "You just had breakfast two hours ago. You need to wait for a few more hours to get biscuits."

ママ：「2時間前に朝ごはんを食べたばかりだからね。ビスケットまで、あと数時間は待ってもらわなくっちゃ。」

Ehime: "I can't wait that long."

えひめ：「しょんなに待てない。」

Makana: "I'm always ready whenever my sister is ready."

マカナ：「ぼくは、ねえたんがいいっていう時は、いつでもOKです。」
