I saw the grape harvest. 〜ぶどうの収穫、見たよ〜

Kona: "Can we start now?"

コナ：「そろそろ始めてもいい？」

Mommy: "As you like."

ママ：「お好きにどうぞ。」

Ehime: "I got you♪"

えひめ：「にいたま、捕まえた〜♪」

Kona: "He he. Ehime came out from under my body♪"

コナ：「えへへ。ひめたんが、ぼくの体の下から出てきた♪」

Ehime: "Ehime's attack!"

えひめ：「えひめズ・アタック！」

Kona: "That's nothing."

コナ：「大したこと、ないな。」

Kahlua: "Stop it, Ehime!"

カルア：「えひめ、やめなさいっ！」

Ehime: "Please help me, brother Kona."

えひめ：「コナにい、助けてくだしゃい。」

Kona: "That's impossible. We are finishing our play now."

コナ：「ムリ。ぼくたちの遊びは、これにて終了します。」

When I was on the way back from cows this morning, I saw the grape containers at the bottom of the hill. The neighbor was harvesting their grapes! There were already so many containers that were full of grapes. Do you want to know how many containers I saw?

今朝、牛たちのところから戻ってくるときに、丘のふもとでぶどうのコンテイナーを見かけました。ご近所さんが、ぶどうの収穫をされていたんです！すでに、ぶどうでいっぱいになったコンテイナーが、たくさんありました。どれくらいたくさんかって？

This many! And they were still harvesting more.

こんなにたくさんです！そして、まだまだもっと収穫されるようです。

Mommy: "Oh, that's Mr. G's new dog, Stormy."

ママ：「あら。あれは、Gさんの新しい犬、ストーミーちゃんだわ。」

Mr. J (the neighbor): "We need more containers for the grapes!"

Jさん（ご近所さん）：「もっとコンテイナーが必要だ！」

Mr. G: "I'll help you!"

Gさん：「ぼくが、手伝うよ！」

My camera is always hanging from my neck, and I take many photos whenever I see a good chance. Mr. J said "Come in the vineyard! You can take photos of the actual harvest!" Grape harvest is once a year. I didn't want to miss my shutter chance! I followed Mr. J by car.

私のカメラは、いつも首からぶら下がっています。そしてチャンスがあればいつでも、何枚でも写真を撮ります。Jさんは、「ぶどう園においで！実際の収穫の写真が撮れるよ！」とおっしゃってくれました。ぶどうの収穫は、１年に一回です。シャッターチャンスを逃したくありませんでした！私は車で、Jさんについて行きました。

Mr. G: "New containers have arrived."

Gさん：「新しいコンテイナーが、到着したぞ〜」

Mommy: "Oh, my. They have beautiful grapes to make white wine."

ママ：「わあ。白ワインになるぶどう、きれいだわ〜」

Mommy: "And they are picking all the grapes by hand!"

ママ：「そして、手でぶどうを取ってる！」

Worker: "One, two..."

作業員さん：「１、２の‥‥」

Worker: "Three!"

作業員さん：「３！」

Mommy: "They are so quick! One container gets full just in some minutes!"

ママ：「すごく早い！ひとつのコンテイナーが、何分かすぐでいっぱいになるわ！」

Stormy: "Daddy, are you sure you go in a row by that tractor?"

ストーミー：「パパ。そのトラクターで、本当にぶどうの木の間に入って行くの？」

Mr. G: "Yes, I'm going."

Gさん：「うん、行く。」

Mr. G: "It's easy to put grapes in the container this way, right? Now, let's do it!"

Gさん：「これだと、コンテイナーにぶどうを入れやすいだろう？さあ、がんばろう！」

Mommy: "Thank you for letting me take photos of you guys. I'll make sure I write about this harvest on my blog."

ママ：「みなさんの写真を撮らせてくれて、どうもありがとう。必ず、ブログにこの収穫について書きますからね〜」

At chickens　にわとりのところで

Chicken A: "I found some straw on the ground here the other day. It looks like they fell from the Kubota utility car."

にわとりA：「こないだ、ここの地面に、わらが落ちているのを見つけたの。どうやら、クボタのユーティリティーカーから落ちたみたいよ。」

Chicken B: "They are still here."

にわとりB：「まだあるわ。」

Chicken A: "But they smell like a different animal. What is it?"

にわとりA：「でもこのわら、別の動物のにおいがするのよね〜　なにかしら？」

Chicken C: "It must be cows. I heard the humans in this house feed cows with the hay."

にわとりC：「きっと牛よ。この家の人間が、干し草を牛たちにあげてるって聞いたもの。」

At home　おうち

Mommy: "I'm home♪ Umm... I am home. Ehime?"

ママ：「たっだいま〜♪　あの‥‥　ママ、帰ったんだけど。ひめたん？」

Ehime: "Zzzz...."

えひめ：「Zzzz....」

Kona: "Ehime? Mommy said she is home."

コナ：「ひめたん？ママが、ただいまって言ってるよ。」

Ehime: "Welcome back home. I'm sleepy..."

えひめ：「おかえり。わたち、眠い‥‥」

Our grape harvest is scheduled for next Tuesday. Looking forward to it!

私たちのぶどうの収穫日は、次の火曜日に決定しました。楽しみです！
