Ehime came back. 〜えひめが帰ってきた〜

Makana: "I went for a morning walk, and got wet."

マカナ：「朝のお散歩に行ったら、ビショビショになった。」

Mommy: "I'm sorry. I didn't know the rain would come that early."

ママ：「ごめんってば。そんなに早く雨が降るって知らなかったんだもの。」

Mommy: "Look, Ma-kun. There is a little sunshine between rains. Why don't we go outside now? I need to go clean the chicken coop."

ママ：「見て、マーくん。雨の合間の太陽の光。今お外に出てみない？　ママ、にわとり小屋のお掃除をしなきゃいけないし。」

Makana: "OK. I can weed."

マカナ：「いいよ。ぼくは、草むしりできるし。」

Makana: "I lost my biscuit..."

マカナ：「ビスケット、無くしちゃった‥‥」

Mommy: "It's on your head."

ママ：「頭の上よ。」

We picked up Ehime at the vet a little after 3:00pm. Because of the issue of Coronavirus, we couldn't go inside of the building. We called and let them know that we were at the parking lot. They brought Ehime outside and left her for a few seconds until we picked her up. Because we, humans shouldn't be less than six feet from each other.

午後3時を少し回ったころ、病院でえひめのお迎えをしました。コロナウィルス問題のため、私たちは建物の中に入ることはできませんでした。駐車場に到着したことを電話で知らせました。するとえひめを連れて外に出てきてくださり、私たちがえひめを手にするまで数秒間、えひめをその場に置く、そういう状態でした。私たち人間は、お互いから６フィート以下の距離間ではいけないからです。

You can see how bad my photo taken technique below. I was so worried about her, since she still looked unconscious. 

下の写真を見ると、私のテクニックがどれほど下手だったからお分かりいただけると思います。えひめはまだ意識がちゃんと戻らないようだったので、本当にとても心配でした。

Because of her habits, she somehow tried to get on the couch. When she stretched, some blood came out from the cut. That scared me.

普段のくせで、えひめはなんとかソファーに乗ろうとしました。体を伸ばしたとき、切り口から血がポタポタと落ちました。怖かったです。

Makana: "Is my sister OK?"

マカナ：「ねえたん、大丈夫？」

Mommy: "I'm hoping so."

ママ：「だといいけど。」

Mommy: "Ma-kun. Why don't you go bathroom?"

ママ：「マーくん、トイレに行ったら？」

Makana: "I can't go, because I'm worried about my sister."

マカナ：「ねえたんのことが心配だから行けない。」

Daddy: "Look, honey. Makana is laying down at the side of Ehime."

パパ：「ママ、見て。マカナが、えひめに寄り添ってる。」

Mommy: "He has been really worried about her."

ママ：「ずっとひめたんのことを心配しているのよね。」

Makana: "My sister won't move."

マカナ：「ねえたんが動かない。」

Mommy: "She is OK. I just checked and she is breathing."

ママ：「大丈夫よ。確認したら、ちゃんと息してるから。」

Mommy: "Darling. I'm going to sleep on the couch tonight. So I can check how Ehime is doing during the night."

ママ：「パパ、今夜は私、ソファーで寝るわね。そしたらひめたんが夜中どうしているか、チェックできるから。」

Daddy: "OK. You are camping here."

パパ：「わかった。ママは、ここでキャンプだね。」

Mommy: "Why don't you go to bed and sleep, Ma-kun? Daddy is waiting for you."

ママ：「マーくん。自分のベッドに行って寝たら？　パパが待ってるよ。」

Makana: "I'm worried about my sister. I'm going to stay here, too."

マカナ：「ねえたんのことが心配だから。ぼくもここにいる。」

How sweet of Makana, right? Well... he was interesting. He got on the couch, stepped on me, walked around the family room and whined during the night.

マカナ、なんて愛らしいんでしょう。。。ん？　えっと‥‥　まあ、興味深かったです。夜の間、ソファーに乗って私を踏みつけたり、ファミリールームを歩き回ったり、クンクン鳴いたり。

I had about four hours sleep by checking on Ehime from time time. When my morning alarm went off, guess what I saw. Ehime was off the bed, and Makana was laying down on the bed instead! Here is the shocking picture.

私はときどきえひめのことを確認しながら、4時間くらい眠りました。朝のアラームが鳴って、私が見たもの、なんだったと思いますか？　なんと、えひめがベッドから落ちて、代わりにマカナがそのベッドに横たわっていたんです！　その衝撃映像は、こちら。

Makana: "Mommy, it's morning. Please wake up. (beep, beep, beep)"

マカナ：「ママ、朝だよ。起きて〜　（ビー、ビー、ビー）」

Mommy: "Ahhh! Ma-kun! Please stop holding it in your mouth. That's the noisiest doggie toy in the house!"

ママ：「あああ！マーくん！　それを奥にくわえるの、やめてよ〜　お家で一番音が大きいおもちゃなんだから！」
