Never-ending effort & love 〜ネバーエンディング・エフォート＆ラブ〜

Yesterday　昨日

Daddy: "One, two, three!"

パパ：「いち、にーの、さんっ！」

Mommy: "Mmm? Is the fence broken?"

ママ：「ん？フェンス、壊れてる？」

Mommy "Oh, no! Did our cows try to break the fence and eat the hay???"

ママ：「あら、やだ！うちの牛たち、フェンスを壊して、干し草を食べようとしたのかしら？？？」

Daddy: "Uh-oh."

パパ：「あ〜あ。」

Mommy: "Otherwise, someone might have slipped the leg in the hole and fell on the fence side."

ママ：「じゃなければ、誰か穴に足を滑らせて、フェンスの方に転んじゃったのかしら。」

Daddy: "It's possible. We've got to fix it."

パパ：「そうかもしれないな。修理しなきゃ。」

Cheer: "I don't think that was me."

チア：「私じゃないと思うんだけど。」

Today　今日

Kona: "Is that the salad for chickens?"

コナ：「それ、にわとりさんたちのサラダ？」

Mommy: "Yes. I keep the edge of the cucumber that I used for humans dinner last night. I used to throw this part away before. But I figured out chickens love this and I used it for their salad now ."

ママ：「うん。昨夜の人間用の晩ごはんで使ったきゅうりのヘタ、とっておいたのよね。以前はこの部分は捨てていたんだけれど、にわとりさんたちが大好きだとわかって、今ではにわとりさんたちのサラダに使うのよ。」

Mommy: "And the celery stalk that is getting soft is still good for chickens."

ママ：「そして、ちょっと柔らかくなってきたセロリも、にわとりさんたちにはごちそうなのよね。」

Mommy: "Tomatoes are definitely their favorite, so I use the wrinkled tomatoes for their salad. Although, tomatoes are sweet. I just use a little each time because I don't want them to be diabetic."

ママ：「トマトは断然、にわとりさんたちの好物だから、シワのできたトマトをにわとりさんたちのサラダに使うのよ。でもトマトは甘いからね。にわとりさんたちを糖尿病にしたくないから、毎回ちょっとずつ使うようにしてるの。」

Kahlua: "Becoming sick is not fun. But tomatoes are delicious. I still try to eat some of the old tomatoes that were left in the vegetable garden."

カルア：「病気になるのは嫌だけれど、トマトはおいしいもんね。ぼく、いまだに、野菜畑に残ってる古いトマトを食べようとするんだ。」

Mommy: "I thought you didn't come back from the backyard quickly."

ママ：「どおりで、裏庭からなかなか帰ってこないと思ったわ。」

Kahlua: "I'm sad the season of tomatoes has gone."

カルア：「トマトのシーズンが終わって、ぼくは悲しいよ。」

Mommy: "It'll come back next spring."

ママ：「次の春には、またやってくるわよ。」

Chicken A: "Kyaaa! Salad is coming!"

にわとりA：「きゃ〜〜！サラダが来るわよ〜！」

Chicken B: "Please open the door now!"

にわとりB：「早くドアを開けて〜！」

Mommy: "First, let's give you some corn mix."

ママ：「まずは、とうもろこしのミックスをどうぞ。」

Chicken C: "Yay♪"

にわとりC：「やった〜♪」

Mommy: "Their food is Omega 3 food. So they can lay Omega 3 eggs, which has great benefits for various sickness including heart attack."

ママ：「にわとりさんたちのフードは、オメガ３のフード。これで、心臓発作を含む様々な病気に効果のあるオメガ３の卵を産んでくれるのよね。」

Mommy: "Now, I finished cleaning the chicken coop. Let's give you some salad."

ママ：「さあ、にわとり小屋のお掃除、終わり。サラダをあげようね。」

Chicken C: "Yay, yay♪"

にわとりC：「やった、やった〜♪」

Chicken D: "Hurry!"

にわとりD：「はやく〜！」

Mommy: "Oops. I dropped a piece of cucumber on your back. Sorry."

ママ：「おっと、背中にきゅうりを落としちゃった。ごめんね。」

Ehime: "Are you going somewhere now?"

えひめ：「どこか行くでしゅか？」

Mommy: "Yes, daddy and mommy are going to get a training with Hana at the horse ranch. Please be good and stay at home."

ママ：「うん。パパとママ、馬牧場でハナちゃんと一緒にトレーニングを受けてくるね。お利口さんにお留守番しててね。」

At the horse ranch　馬牧場で

Instructor: "Today's lesson is that we are making Hana run on a rope and stop, then making her run to the different direction."

インストラクター：「今日のレッスンは、ハナにロープを付けて走らせ、止まらせます。それから反対方向に走らせる練習です。」

Daddy: "Let's go, Hana!"

パパ：「ハナ、行けー！」
