Memories of Thanksgiving weekend 2016 Part 2 〜

On Friday

Chloe: "Someone is there."

Ehime: "Who?"

Kona: "Chloe's daddy! Please help me!"

Chloe's & Jack's daddy: "What?"

Daddy: "Hey, Kona!"

Kona: "I see the groomer out there!"

Daddy: "It's OK. You always do great at the groomer's salon, don't you?"

Chloe: "Excuse me♪"

Kona: "Ahhhhh!!!"

Daddy: "Don't move, Kona."

Ehime: "Ha! Daddy is holding brother Kona. It means..."

Groomer, Tammy: "Here. Please get him in the back seat today♪"

Ehime: "We are going to get a grooming..."

While our dogs were getting a grooming, my husband and I decided to go grocery shopping at the Asian market. I love the town where we live in CA, but there is no place I can get Japanese food supplies. Every time we come to Las Vegas, I buy a quite good amount of Japanese groceries.

Daddy: "Phew, the shopping is done."

Chloe: "Phew, the walking is done."

Mommy: "Oh, look at these steaks in the cooking book. Don't they look like yummy?"

Jack: "(sniff, sniff) I don't smell the steak."

Chloe: "Oh, Jack. That is called "a picture" for humans to enjoy the food with their eyes."

Jack: "How do you enjoy the food just with eyes? I want to enjoy in my mouth."

Ehime: "Mommy! I'm home!"

Groomer, Tammy: "Ahhhh! You are still on leash, Ehime!"

Kona: "Hello, Chloe! Do I look handsome now? I missed you so much while I was at the groomer's salon. Did you? (chu❤︎)"

Chloe: "Umm... Should I say yes?"

No one is planning to buy a house in Las Vegas right now. But just for curiosity and a future idea, we humans all decided to go see open houses in the new area.

Ghost's mommy: "Look. The other side of this glass door is a massage room. There are two massage tables for people to lay down."

Chloe's & Jack's mommy: "There is the water feature in front. You can hear the water sound while you are getting a massage. How gorgeous♪"

Daddy: "I'm more interested in this feature. Look. You can get the plug out from the kitchen counter. How nice!"

Mommy: "Oh, my! What a beautiful scenery. This reminds me of our big house we used to live in Las Vegas."

Daddy: "You used to say that the lights of Las Vegas from that house are like jewelry."

Thanksgiving meal in USA is like Osechi (Japanese tradition food for New Years Day) in Japan. People cook a lot for Thanksgiving day and keep eating it until it's gone. As you can imagine, to keep eating the same meal over and over is boring. So we decided to make pizza using the leftovers on Friday night.

Mommy: "I made the dough earlier today. Can you throw the pizza dough, darling?"

Daddy: "Yaaaaa!!!"

Ehime: "You are getting flour all over you, daddy."

Daddy: "Turkey BBQ pizza. I've never had it before."

Ghost's daddy: "We put cranberry sauce, ham, tomatoes, onions, basil and mozzarella cheese for this one."

Ghost's mommy: "Let's see how the taste comes out. We've never had this kind of pizza before."

Daddy: "Pizza is done. Let's slice it up."

Kona: "Yay! Pizza is ready!"

Kahlua: "Let's get a plate♪"

After dinner, we decided to do Karaoke at home! We turned the Youtube video on TV, I opened the guitar code on my phone and Ghost's daddy played the guitar looking at the code. We were already in the good mode from making fun pizza, so no one was shy to sing!

Ghost: "I want to sing, too!"

Continuing tomorrow♪
