A peaceful moment on a big day 〜大事な一日の平和な瞬間〜

Mommy: "I watered the lemon tree. It looks like we are going to have a good harvest of lemons this year. Let's take some photos♪"

ママ：「レモンの木にお水をあげた、と。今年はいいレモンの収穫ができそうだわね。写真を何枚か撮っておこうっと♪」

White-crowned sparrow: "Landed. I smell the water here."

ミヤマシトド：「上陸。ここ、お水のにおいがするわ。」

Mommy: "Oh, so cute! Who are you? Are you OK to be this close to the human?"

ママ：「あら、かわいい！　あなた、どなた？　こんなに人間の近くに来て、大丈夫？」

White-crowned sparrow: "Kyaaaaa!!! A human is here! You surprised me!"

ミヤマシトド：「きゃあああ！！！　人間がこんなところに！　びっくりした〜！」

White-crowned sparrow: "Well, I'm just here to drink some water. Is that OK?"

ミヤマシトド：「えっと、お水を飲みにきたんだけど、いいですか？」

Mommy: "Of course. I'm going to take some photos & a video of you if it's OK with you. How peaceful♪"

ママ：「もちろんよ。よければ、写真や動画を撮らせてね。なんて平和なの♪」

Makana: "Are you OK being so easygoing today? It's General Election Day."

マカナ：「ママ。今日そんなにのんきにしてて、大丈夫？　アメリカの総選挙の日だけど。」

Mommy: "Right. It's a big day for America. But that's why it's important to treasure the peaceful moment, isn't it?"

ママ：「そうね。アメリカにとっては、大事な日よね。でもだからこそ、平和な一瞬を宝物だと思うことが大切なんじゃないかしら。」

Makana: "That makes sense."

マカナ：「理にかなってる。」

Ehime: "I would take a nap now, because it sounds like it's going to be a noisy evening today."

えひめ：「わたちは、今のうちにお昼寝。今日は、騒がちい夜になりしょうでしゅから。」

Mommy: "I think that's a great idea."

ママ：「それは、いい考えだわね。」
