Sweet memory of Kahlua 〜カルアのスウィートメモリー〜

Last Thursday was Kahlua's birthday. Every time I think of him, it minds me of his last moment on Thanksgiving Day, and it makes me miss him so much.

木曜日は、カルアのお誕生日でした。カルアのことを考えると、いつもサンクスギビングデーに息を引き取ったことを思い出し、とてもとてもカルアのことを恋しく思います。

On his birthdays, I often put bows or flowers on top of his head. I'm sorry if you didn't like that much, Kahlua. But you didn't refuse it. (#^_^#)

カルアのお誕生日には、よく頭にリボンやお花を置いたりしました。もしあんまり気に入ってなかったのだったらごめんね、カルア。でも拒否しなかったから。(#^_^#)

In 2016, we tried to take a family photo on his birthday. And this was the best shot out of eight photos.

2016年には、家族写真を撮ろうとしました。そしてこれは、8枚撮った中でのベストショットでした。

Kahlua's physical part might have left us two years ago, but his spirit is still here. Where? On our wine label, right behind Goldens! 

カルアの体は2年前に私たちのもとを去ってしまったかもしれませんが、カルアの心は今もここにあります。どこかって？　私たちのワインラベルに、ゴールデンズのすぐ後ろにです！

My hands always remember how soft his hair was, and my eyes still see him on the rug in the family room. I love you, Kahlua.

私の手は、いまだにカルアの柔らかい毛を覚えています。私の目には、いまだにファミリールームのラグにいるカルアが見えます。大好きだよ、カルア。

Makana: "I wanted to see brother Kahlua. I want to learn how to bark from him."

マカナ：「ぼく、カルアにいたんに会いたかったなー　にいたんから、鳴き方を習いたいの。」

Mommy: "Well... Maybe you don't need to learn that. I think you have great whining already."

ママ：「えっと‥‥　それは習わなくていいんじゃないかな。マーくんは、もう十分クンクン鳴いてるし。」
