Talking about fruit 〜フルーツの話し〜

Mommy: "Vineyard workers are now working on netting the vines."

ママ：「ぶどう園の作業員さんたちが、ぶどうの木にネットをかぶせる作業をしてるわ。」

Daddy: "The grapes are now purple, and they are getting sweeter and sweeter every day. We need to protect them from the predators."

パパ：「ぶどうが紫色になって、毎日甘くなってきているからね。ぶどうを捕食する動物たちから、ぶどうを守らなきゃいけないんだよ。」

Daddy: "I see the netting truck right there."

パパ：「あそこに、ネットを張るトラックがいるよ。」

Mommy: "They are working hard and we really appreciate it."

ママ：「みんな一生懸命働いてくれて、本当に感謝だわね。」

Ehime: "Are you talking about the fruit?"

えひめ：「フルーツのお話しでしゅか？」

Mommy: "That's right."

ママ：「そうよ。」

Makana: "Fruits are delicious. They are sweet and juicy. (smile)" 

マカナ：「フルーツっておいしいんだよね。甘くてジューシーで。（ニコッ）」

Ehime: "Ma-kun, come this way. (whispering)"

えひめ：「マーくん、ちょっとこっちへ。（ヒソヒソ）」

Mommy: "What? What are you saying, Ehime?"

ママ：「なに？　ひめたん、なんの話し？」

Makana: "Yeah, right."

マカナ：「なーんだ。」

Mommy: "What? What did Ehime say, Ma-kun?"

ママ：「なに？　マーくん、ひめたんはなんて言ったの？」

Makana: "She said I don't need to smile for this topic, because dogs cannot eat grapes."

マカナ：「ねえたんが、この話しにはニコニコしなくてもいいよって言った。だって犬は、ぶどうを食べられないからって。」

Daddy: "Ehime is smart."

パパ：「頭がいいな、えひめは。」
