Getting ready for Prime Rib Roast 〜プライムリブローストの準備〜

Daddy: "Let's poke the meat with the knife before seasoning."

パパ：「味付けをする前に、ナイフでお肉に傷をつけよう。」

Makana: "What is daddy doing?"

マカナ：「パパ、何してるの？」

Mommy: "He is seasoning the meat to have Prime Rib Roast for Christmas dinner tomorrow. It's our annual meal for Christmas in our house."

ママ：「パパね、明日のクリスマスディナーでプライムリブを食べるために、お肉の味付けをしているの。我が家恒例のクリスマスディナーよ。」

Makana: "Ohh."

マカナ：「おおお。」

Daddy: "We don't cook a lot of meat these days because we are too busy for work. This is going to be a great dinner."

パパ：「仕事が忙しすぎて、最近あんまりお肉の調理をしないからね。これはステキなディナーになるぞ。」

Makana: "If it's such the great dinner, can I get some, too?"

マカナ：「そんなにいいディナーなら、ぼくも食べられる？」

Daddy: "What!? Well... you can. But you have a sensitive stomach. Can you handle the meat OK?"

パパ：「えっ！？　えっと‥‥　食べられるけど、マカナはおなかが弱いからなあ。お肉食べても大丈夫？」

Ehime: "No, no. He can't handle the meat. But I can. Please give me all the meat that Ma-kun is going to eat."

えひめ：「ダメ、ダメ。マーくんは食べられないでしゅよ。でもわたちなら大丈夫でしゅから。マーくんが食べるお肉は、全部わたちにくだしゃい。」

Mommy: "You just want to eat, don't you?"

ママ：「ひめたんは、食べたいだけでしょ。」
