One cold day in spring 〜春の寒い一日〜

Mommy: "Oh, wow! In this cold weather like today, orange flowers bloomed."

ママ：「あら、まあ！今日みたいな寒いお天気の中で、オレンジの花が咲いた。」

Mommy: "Radishes started to show the red parts. Even though it's cold, everything grows in spring."

ママ：「ラディッシュも、赤い部分を見せはじめた。どんなに寒くても、春には色んなものが育つのね〜」

Chick A: "Monster chickens are not here."

ひよこA：「怪獣にわとり、いないわよ。」

Chick B: "Let's go out♪"

ひよこB：「じゃあ、出かけましょう♪」

Chicken A: "Today, let's go check out the new house."

にわとりA：「今日は、新しいおうちのチェックに行きましょう。」

Chicken B: "Let's do it."

にわとりB：「行きましょう。」

Chicks: "Kyaaaaa!!!!"

ひよこたち：「きゃああああ！！！！」

Chicken A: "This house smells so good."

にわとりA：「このおうち、なんだかいい香りがするわね。」

Chicken B: "Oh! I know this smell. It's cedar. This house is made of cedar!"

にわとりB：「あっ！この香り、知ってる。スギよ。このおうち、スギの木でできてるのよ！」

Chicken A: "How gorgeous♪"

にわとりA：「ゴージャスだわね〜♪」

Chicken B: "Too gorgeous for the young ones."

にわとりB：「ゴージャスすぎるわよ、若者のくせに〜」

Chicken C: "You two seem like middle-aged women if you talk like that."

にわとりC：「ちょっとあなたたち、そんなふうにしゃべってると、中年のおばちゃんみたいよ。」

Chick A: "They are making a rumour about us. How scary is this chicken village..."

ひよこA：「私たちのうわさをしてる。このにわとり村、なんて恐ろしいのかしら‥‥」

At home　おうち

Ehime: "(staring)"

えひめ：「（じーーーっ）」

Mommy: "What are you doing, Ehime?"

ママ：「ひめたん、なにしてるの？」

Ehime: "I'm waiting for a lizard showing up outside. I think some lizards were born in our yard this spring."

えひめ：「お外でトカゲしゃんが出てくるのを、待ってるんでしゅよ。この春、お庭でトカゲしゃんが何匹か生まれたみたいでしゅから。」

Kahlua: "I don't know if lizards want to come out today. It's pretty cold outside."

カルア：「今日は、トカゲが出てくるかわからないよ。お外、結構寒いから。」

Mommy: "My hands are cold. I'm going to make soup with a lot of veggies and some bacon for lunch."

ママ：「ママの手も冷たいわ。ランチには、たっぷりのお野菜とベーコンで、スープを作るわね。」

Mommy: "We have a jar of fig preserves that was made in England. Let's use it and make some fig sandwiches."

ママ：「そうだ、イギリス製のいちじくのジャムがあったんだ。これを使って、いちじくジャムのサンドイッチも作ろうっと。」

Ehime: "I wish we dogs have three meals a day like mommy & daddy."

えひめ：「わたちたち犬も、パパとママみたいに、1日3食だったらよかったのに。」

Mommy: "Darling, lunch is ready. Did I make too much?"

ママ：「パパ〜、ランチできたよ〜　たくさん作りすぎたかな？」

Daddy: "No, you didn't. I'm hungry."

パパ：「そんなことないよ。ぼく、おなかすいてるから。」

Ehime: "Mommy, the ice cubes for your water glass are here."

えひめ：「ママ〜　飲み水に入れる氷はここでしゅよ。」

Mommy: "Oh, OK... Are you saying you want one?"

ママ：「あ、うん‥‥　ひめたんも一個ほしいって言ってる？」
