Harvest Eve 〜ハーベスト・イブ〜

Mommy: "Let's dehydrate apples today♪"

ママ：「よし、今日は干しリンゴを作ろう♪」

Kahlua: "Is it done yet?"

カルア：「もうできた？」

Mommy: "I just put them in the dehydrator."

ママ：「いま、食物乾燥機に入れたばっかりだから。」

Ehime: "Where did it go...?"

えひめ：「どこに行ったでしゅか‥‥？」

Kona: "Ehime is looking for the lizard again♪"

コナ：「ひめたん、またトカゲを探してます♪」

Mommy: "It's going to be a big weekend for us. Because we are harvesting grapes on Sunday. Can you help, doggies?"

ママ：「今週末は、忙しくなるわね。日曜日は、ぶどうの収穫日だから。みんな、手伝ってくれる？」

Ehime: "I don't know how to use scissors for harvesting..."

えひめ：「わたち、収穫用のはさみの使い方がわからない‥‥」

Kona: "I will clean up by eating branches."

コナ：「ぼく、枝を食べてお掃除する。」

Kahlua: "I will bark at birds and chase after them."

カルア：「ぼくは、鳥に向かって吠えて、追いかけます。」

Today　今朝

Daddy: "It's 6:30am. We are taking the net off from the vines today."

パパ：「午前６時半。今日はぶどうのツルからネットを外さなきゃ。」

My husband took off to the vineyard at 7:00am. 

主人は、午前７時にぶどう園へ行きました。

Kona: "Mommy, someone is here!"

コナ：「ママ〜、誰か来た！」

Ehime: "Our guest is here♪"

えひめ：「お客しゃんが来まちたよ〜♪」

Mommy: "He is our neighbour's dog."

ママ：「ご近所さんの犬よ。」

Mommy: "Oh! The new rose is almost blooming. It's going to be beautiful♪"

ママ：「あっ！新しいバラの花が咲き始めた。きれいになるわね♪」

Daddy: "Huh, it's going to take a long time to take the net off..."

パパ：「はあ、ネットを外すの、時間がかかるな‥‥」

Mommy: "I'm going to cows now, darling."

ママ：「パパ〜、ちょっと牛さんのところに行ってくるね。」

It was funny! While I was milking Happy, her baby, Joy was getting milk from the other side.

おもしろかった〜！私がハッピーちゃんの乳搾りをしている間、赤ちゃんのジョイくんが反対側でお乳をもらっていました。

Mommy: "Thank you so much for the milk♪"

ママ：「ミルクをありがとね〜♪」

Happy: "Thank you so much for the alfalfa grass♪"

ハッピー：「アルファルファの草をありがとね〜♪」

Mommy: "Mmm? Joy, your nose is a little wet from drinking milk. So cute❤︎"

ママ：「ん？ジョイくん、お乳を飲んで、お鼻が濡れてる。かわいい〜〜〜❤︎」

Mommy: "Now it's your turn to go for a walk, doggies. Let's go find daddy♪"

ママ：「さあ、今度は犬たちがお散歩する番。パパを見つけに行こう♪」

Everyone: "Let's go!"

みんな：「行こう！」

Everyone: "Daddyyyyy♪"

みんな：「パパ〜〜〜〜♪」

Daddy: "Hi, everyone! You are here!"

パパ：「やあ、みんな！来てくれたの〜？」

Kona: "Is it hard to take the net off from the vines?"

コナ：「ぶどうの木からネットを外すの、大変かな？」

Mommy: "It is hard. You've got to knee down and stand up often in the hot weather."

ママ：「大変よ。暑い中、ひざまづいたり立ったりしなきゃいけないからね。」

Kona: "Then, let's do what we can do. First, cleaning your ear, Ehime."

コナ：「じゃあ、ぼくたちは、ぼくたちにできることをしよう。最初は、ひめたんの耳掃除。」

Ehime: "OK♪"

えひめ：「あい♪」
