Ehime went to the vet again. 〜えひめ、再びお医者さまのところへ〜

Ehime: "Daddy is driving today. Does it mean we are going on a road trip to Las Vegas?"

えひめ：「今日は、パパが運転ちてる。っていうことは、ラスベガスへのロードトリップでしゅか？」

Makana: "I forgot to pack my snack. Well, I guess we can get some on the road."

マカナ：「おやつを詰めるの、忘れちゃったよ。まあ、道中で買えばいいか。」

Unfortunately, it wasn't a road trip to Las Vegas. We wanted to take Ehime to the vet. She has been licking her butt area for some time. First, we thought it was a hotspot. But the scar is getting bigger and bleeding from the area.

残念ですが、ラスベガスのロードトリップではありません。えひめをお医者さまのところに連れて行きたかったのです。ここのところ、えひめは自分のお尻の辺りをなめていました。最初はホットスポット（急性の湿疹）かと思っていたのですが、傷はだんだん大きくなり、その部分から血が出て来ました。

Poor Ehime. This is her third time to go see the vet (including the emergency hospital) this year. She is nine years old now. We just want to keep her as healthy as possible.

救急病院を含め、これでお医者さまに会いに行くのは今年3度目です。今では9歳になったえひめ。できるだけ健康でいてもらえるようにしたいと思っています。

According to the doctor, it wasn't a hotspot. It was probably caused by a foxtail (again). When she puts her butt down for bathroom, her fluffy coat might have picked up a pointy foxtail. There was no foxtail there when the doctor checked, but it was already an open area. That made her lick, and bleed, the doctor said.

お医者さまによると、ホットスポットではありませんでした。多分（また）フォックステールが原因だろうということでした。トイレでお尻を下げたとき、ふわふわの毛が、尖ったフォックステールをくっつけてしまったのかもしれません。お医者さまが診察したときには、そこにフォックステールはありませんでしたが、すでに傷口は開いていました。それをえひめがなめて出血したのだろうと、お医者さまは言いました。

A few hours later　数時間後

Ehime: "I feel better. Let's go home♪"

えひめ：「わたち、元気になった〜　おうちに帰ろ♪」

At home　おうち

Mommy: "Please go potty, Ehime."

ママ：「ひめたん、トイレしてね〜」

Makana: "I go, too."

マカナ：「ぼくも行っとこうっと。」
