Birds' fight for a nest 〜巣をかけて鳥たちの戦い〜

It looks like birds made a nest at the roof of our patio.

どうやらうちのパティオの屋根に、鳥たちが巣を作ったようです。

This morning, a blue jay flew from somewhere, and she was trying to claim the nest as hers.

今朝、ブルージェイがどこからともなく飛んできて、その巣を自分のものだと主張しようとしていました。

The birds who made the nest got angry! I'm not sure if they already have eggs in the nest, but they worked hard to get rid of the blue jay using their squeaky voice and flew around to make it annoyed.

巣を作った鳥たちは怒りました！　巣にすでに卵があるのかどうかはわかりませんが、キーキーという声を使ってブルージェイを取り除こうと一生懸命がんばり、またブルージェイをイライラさせるためにその周りを飛び回りました。 

A woodpecker who heard the squeaky voice came around, and tried to see what's going on.

キーキーという声を聞いたキツツキまでやって来て、なにが起きているのか見ようとしました。

Ehime: "What a morning drama... But mommy, don't you need to let them know that the place where birds made a nest is actually our house?"

えひめ：「なんていう朝のドラマ‥‥　でもママ。鳥しゃんたちが巣を作った場所、実はうちの家だって知らせなくてもいいんでしゅか？」

Makana: "Do you want me to go out and tell them?"

マカナ：「ぼくがお外に出て、言ってきてあげようか？」

Mommy: "That's OK. They might have eggs in the nest, and they are new lives. Why don't we wait until they leave?"

ママ：「大丈夫。巣の中にはもう、卵があるかもしれないからね。それは、新しい命だもの。巣立ちするまで、待ってあげよう。」

With a license from the county, vineyard workers burned the old vines and branches in the vineyard. Something is always going on here during this season.

郡からのライセンスを得て、ぶどう園の作業員さんたちが、古いぶどうの木や枝をぶどう園で焼きました。この季節、ここではいつも何かが行われています。
