What's charcuterie? 〜

Our friend: "Charcuterie usually doesn't include the cheese. Charcuterie means that the culinary art of preparing meat products such as bacon, salami, ham, pâté and confit. So when they want to put the cheese on, they say should 'cheese & charcuterie'."

Daddy: "Oh, I didn't know that."

Mommy: "We see that often on the wine cafe recently, but I always thought that charcuterie is the board with the meat, cheese, nuts and some fruit."

Kona: "I want my charcuterie board to have lamb meat and some pieces of salmon."

Ehime: "On my charcuterie board, I want apple, banana, carrot, French Baguette with butter."

Mommy: "What a sweet tooth you have, Ehime. And you don't call it 'charcuterie' without any prepared meat products, I heard."

Have a fantastic Monday♪
