This and that during the weekend 〜週末のあれこれ〜

So many things happened this past weekend. Let's see what we did...

この過ぎたばかりの週末は、本当に色んなことがありました。なにがあったかと言うと‥‥

Friday　金曜日

Mommy: "I can't believe how quick the sun goes down."

ママ：「太陽が沈むのって、早いのね〜」

Daddy: "Now we can say hello to the moon♪"

パパ：「今度は、お月さまにハローを言わなくっちゃね♪」

Ehime: "I want to go pee-wee."

えひめ：「わたち、チッチ。」

Kona: "Me, too."

コナ：「ぼくも。」

Saturday　土曜日

Daddy: "The deer is drinking the water from the water bucket for cows."

パパ：「シカが、牛用の水飲み場からお水を飲んでる。」

Deer: "Ha! Did you see that?"

シカ：「はっ！見たわね。」

Deer: "Let's run away."

シカ：「逃げようっと。」

Saturday morning, we fed all the animals and went to the farmer's market. We bought a lot of fruit and veggies and went for a quick lunch. I wasn't sure how serious we were at that time, but we decided to visit the local car dealer, Chevrolet. My husband will start the new job soon, but we only have one car at home. 

土曜日の朝、私たちは動物たち全員にごはんをあげてから、ファーマーズマーケットに行きました。果物やお野菜をたくさん買って、ささっとランチを食べました。そのとき私たちがどれくらい真剣だったのかはわかりませんが、地元のディーラー、シボレーを訪れることにしました。主人はもうすぐ新しい仕事を始めるのですが、家に車が一台しかありません。

We always said that we need a truck. You may not believe, but we used to put the two bales of hay for cows in Lexus. All the equipments for vineyards also went in Lexus. Lexus is supposed to be the car for the family, but it was always sandy and dirty.

私たちはいつも、トラックが必要だね、と言っていました。信じられないかもしれませんが、牛用の干し草二くくり分をレクサスに乗せて走っていました。ぶどう園に必要な道具も、レクサスに入れていました。レクサスは、家族用の車であるはずなのに、いつも砂っぽくてドロドロでした。

I was a fan of the Chevrolet Silverado for some time. Sweet of my husband, he agreed with me (#^o^#). After a test drive, we made our financial plan seriously, and decided to purchase the truck. It has been 10 years since we bought a car together last time!

私の好きなトラックは、シボレー・シルバラードでした。やさしい主人は、なんと私に賛成してくれたのです(#^o^#)。テスト運転のあと、私たちは真剣に将来の家計計画を立て、ドラックを購入することを決心しました。前回一緒に車を購入してから、 なんと10年ぶりの車購入です！

Daddy: "Our first truck♪"

パパ：「初トラックです♪」

My husband and I came back home in the separate vehicles. We were going to the grape growers social part Saturday night, but we couldn't. We had to put all the veggies and fruit in the fridge as soon as possible, and take care of all the animals who were waiting for us a for a long long time.

主人と私は、シボレーから別々の車に乗って帰ってきました。私たちは土曜日のよる、ぶどう栽培者のパーティに行く予定でしたが、行けませんでした。果物やお野菜をすぐに冷蔵庫に入れなければいけなかったし、ずっと長い間私たちを待ってくれていた動物たちの世話をしなければいけなかったからです。

Ehime: "Why are you outside of the fence, mommy?"

えひめ：「ママ、なんでフェンスの外にいるんでしゅか？」

Kona: "Do you have any hidden children?"

コナ：「隠し子がいるの〜？」

Kahlua: "I'm suspicious..."

カルア：「あやしい‥‥」

Chicken A: "Are we hidden children?"

にわとりA：「隠し子って、私たちのことかしら？」

Chicken B: "Probably."

にわとりB：「多分。」

Kahlua: "Bow-wow, bow-wow! Don't hide! Come out!"

カルア：「ワンワン、ワンワン！隠れるな〜！出てこいっ！」

Ehime: "Haha. If they come out, you don't call them 'hidden children'."

えひめ：「あはは。出てきたら、”隠し子”とは呼ばないんじゃないでしゅか？」

Kahlua: "Bow-wow, bow-wow. Wooo.... They are ignoring me."

カルア：「ワンワン、ワンワン！ううう‥‥　ぼくのをことを無視するなんて。」

Ehime: "Smart choice♪"

えひめ：「かしこい選択♪」

Chick A: "Someone is barking."

ひよこA：「誰かが吠えてる。」

Chick B: "Just leave it. He must be hungry."

ひよこB：「放っておきましょ。きっとおなかがすいているのよ。」

Sunday　日曜日

Ehime: "♬Happy Birthday to me♬ I turned 4 years old."

えひめ：「♬ハッピーバースデー　トゥーミー♬　わたち、４歳になりまちた。」

Mommy: "And, Happy Father's Day to all daddies and people who do daddy's job♪"

ママ：「そして、すべてのお父さん、それからお父さんのお仕事をしている人たちへ、ハッピーファーザーズデー♪」

Monday　月曜日

Mommy: "Oh! Happy is licking the salt block we bought during the weekend!"

ママ：「あっ！ハッピーちゃんが、週末に買ってきた塩塊をなめてる！」

Happy: "I haven't eaten for many days. Please give me..."

ハッピー：「もう何日も食べていないんです。どうかお恵みを‥‥」

Mommy: "OK, OK. I know you ate dinner last night. Let me get some breakfast hay for you and Cheer."

ママ：「はい、はい。昨夜もちゃんと晩ごはんを食べてたけどね。いまハッピーちゃんとチアちゃんに、朝ごはんの干し草を持ってくるわね。」

Happy: "Thank you♪ (throwing the hay)"

ハッピー：「いただきまふ♪（ブルン）」

Mommy: "Ahhh! Eat more elegantly."

ママ：「あああ！もっとお上品に食べてよ〜」
