Everyone is working hard. 〜みんな一生懸命お仕事をしています〜

Mommy: "Darling, I finished editing the photos of Mr. G's grapes."

ママ：「パパ、Gさんのぶどうの写真、編集し終わったよ。」

Daddy: "Those are great. You can see how many grapes hanging from the vines in this photo, and beautiful clusters in the other photo."

パパ：「なかなかいいな〜　この写真では、どれだけぶどうがツルからぶら下がっているか見ることができるし、もう一枚の写真では、きれいな房が見えるし。」

Mommy: "Let's make good flyers for Mr. G to sell his grapes♪"

ママ：「Gさんがぶどうを売れるように、いいチラシを作ってあげましょうね。」

Daddy: "Haha. You added the photo of Mr. G & Betsy."

パパ：「はは。ママってば、Gさんとベッツィの写真も入れたんだね。

Mommy: "Because they are working hard for the vineyard."

ママ：「だってふたりとも、ぶどう園のために一生懸命働いているんだもの。」

In the evening　夕方

Mommy: "Ehime! You are making a mess again!"

ママ：「ひめたん！またこんなに散らかして！」

Ehime: "Just a second. I'm a little busy now..."

えひめ：「待ってくだしゃい。今ちょっと忙ちいでしゅから‥‥」

Kona: "Ehime is working hard now♪"

コナ：「ひめたんは今、一生懸命お仕事をしているところです♪」

Kahlua: "It means that she is destroying a toy."

カルア：「つまり、おもちゃの破壊をしている、ということです。」

Ehime: "Huh, working hard is so tiring. I'm taking a little break."

えひめ：「はあ、一生懸命お仕事をしゅるって、本当に大変なことでしゅよね。ちょっと休けいちようっと。」

Ehime: "Break is over."

えひめ：「休けい終わり。」

Mommy: "What a quick break!"

ママ：「はやっ！」

(Ehime has something in her mouth.)

（もぐもぐ）

Mommy: "What do you have in your mouth, Ehime? I'm a dentist. Aaaaaaaaaan."

ママ：「ひめたん、お口になに入ってる？ママは歯医者さんよ。あ〜〜〜〜〜ん。」

Ehime: "Why do I always open my mouth when I hear 'Aaaaaan'..."

えひめ：「”あ〜〜〜ん”って言われたら、わたち、どうちてお口を開けてちまうでしゅか‥‥」

Kona: "You've got to do it better, Ehime."

コナ：「ひめたん、もっと上手くやらなくっちゃ。」

Full of animals! 〜動物がいっぱい！〜

Yesterday　昨日

Daddy: "Oh, no! Deer family is so close to our vineyard!"

パパ：「大変だ！シカの親子、ぼくたちのぶどう園のすぐそばにいる！」

Mommy: "Let's go back and close the gate! Otherwise they are going to enjoy an all you can eat dinner at our vineyard."

ママ：「戻ってゲートを閉めよう！じゃないと、シカさんたち、うちのぶどう園で食べ放題のディナーを楽しむことになるから。」

After closing the gate, we went to the California Mid State Fair again.

ゲートを閉めたあと、私たちは、またまたカリフォルニアミッドステイトフェアにやってきました。

Daddy: "Keith Urban had a concert here on Wednesday."

パパ：「キース・アーバンは、水曜日にここでコンサートをしたんだ。」

Mommy: "We missed it."

ママ：「見逃したわね。」

Daddy: "This is the livestock sale. 4-H kids are bringing animals here to sell and people who are interested in their animals are offering the price and buying."

パパ：「ここは、家畜の競りが行われるところ。4-Hの青少年たち（家畜を育てている子供達）が自分の動物をここに連れてきて、興味のある人たちが値段を提示し、購入するんだ。」

Mommy: "Some are carrying ribbons!"

ママ：「リボンを付けている動物もいる！」

Daddy: "See, the price? Those are the prices they had for each cow."

パパ：「あれ、見て、値段。牛一頭に付けられた値段だよ。」

Not on this photo, but we saw a little girl (about 8 years old) led her cow to the stage, and the cow was sold for the price, $9,500!

この写真にはありませんが、私たちは小さな女の子（だいたい８歳くらい）が自身の牛をステージに連れて上がるのを見ました。そしてその牛一頭に付けられた値段はなんと、9,500ドル！（約118万円）

Mommy: "They are cute sheep♪"

ママ：「かわいい羊さんたち♪」

Daddy: "Here are goats."

パパ：「こっちは、やぎ。」

Mommy: "They look like Kona and Ehime."

ママ：「コナくんとひめたんみたいね。」

Daddy: "Oh, pig!"

パパ：「あっ、ぶた！」

Mommy: "Is he walking by himself?"

ママ：「ひとりで歩いてる？」

Daddy: "It looks like they had a mutton busting earlier. Those sheep had kids on their back and walked."

パパ：「ちょっと前に、羊乗り競争があったみたい。この羊たちが子供を背中に乗せて、歩いたんだよ。」

Mommy: "How fun!"

ママ：「楽しそう！」

Mommy: "You guys are so good. Here is some corn we bought from the sheep treat vending machine♪"

ママ：「みんなお利口さんね〜　はい、これ。羊用おやつの自動販売機で買ったトウモロコシよ♪」

Daddy: "Look, honey! It says this cow was sold with the price $12,000!"

パパ：「見て、ママ！この牛、12,000ドル（約149万円）の値がついたんだって！」

We had a chance to talk with one owner, who is a senior high school student. We asked so many questions about raising cows and he politely answered all the questions. 

この後、ある牛のオーナーさんと話しをすることができました。そのオーナーさんは、高校３年生の青年です。私たちは、牛を育てることに関して、たくさんの質問をしました。そしてその青年は、すべての質問に丁寧に答えてくれました。

At the end, I had to ask one question that I always wondered how people deal with. That was "Are you sad when you have to let your animals go? You feel like they are your babies after spending a long time with them, right?" 

最後に、私はずっと心に感じてした質問をしてみようと思いました。みなさんがどうやってこの事に対応しているか知りたかったからです。それは「自身の動物を手放すとき、さびしくないですか？一緒に長い時間を過ごしたら、動物たちはみんな、自分の赤ちゃんのように感じるでしょう？」

He said "That's right. But this process is all about learning where your food is coming from. You need to manage your feelings." He looked so mature and a great adult to me.

青年はこう答えました。「その通りです。でもこのプロセスはすべて、自分の食べ物がどこからやってくるかということを学ぶためのものなんです。気持ちはコントロールしなければいけません。」私には、その青年はとても立派で、素晴らしい大人に見えました。

Daddy: "You are a good horse."

パパ：「キミはいい馬だな〜」

Today　今日

Ehime: "Daddyyyyy, I missed you so much last night!"

えひめ：「パパ〜〜〜、昨日の夜、パパたちがいなくてとってもさびちかったでしゅよ！」

Kona: "Play with us a lot today, OK?"

コナ：「今日はたくさん遊んでもらうからね。」

Daddy: "I think I'm already playing with you guys."

パパ：「もう遊んでると思うけど。」

Ehime: "Really?"

えひめ：「しょう？」

Daddy's stress solving way 〜パパのストレス解消法〜

Yesterday　昨日

Ehime: "Wait! I was going potty."

えひめ：「待って〜！トイレに行ってたでしゅから。」

Daddy: "Here we are. I'm getting food."

パパ：「はい、到着。食べ物買ってくるね。」

Kona: "Is daddy OK?"

コナ：「パパ、大丈夫？」

Mommy: "He is fine."

ママ：「大丈夫よ。」

My husband was busy for work and needed to go out from the house. Here is how he released his stress. Getting in the car with dogs and me, buying Chipotle and eating in the car! 

主人は仕事でいっぱいいっぱいだったので、ちょっと家から出る時間が必要でした。はい、パパのストレス解消法です。犬たちや私と一緒に車にのり、チポートレで食べ物を買い、車の中で食べること！

Daddy: "I'm back♪"

パパ：「ただいま〜♪」

Mommy: "Thank you for getting food♪"

ママ：「ごはんを買ってきてくれて、どうもありがと♪」

Ehime: "Is it tasty, daddy?"

えひめ：「パパ、しょれ、おいちい？」

Daddy: "Yes, it is."

パパ：「うん、おいしい。」

Kahlua: "Just want to let you know that I'm always there for you daddy, if you need help."

カルア：「覚えておいて、パパ。もし助けが必要なら、ぼく、いつでもパパのそばにいるからね。」

Daddy: "What help are you talking about?"

パパ：「なんの助けだ？」

Ehime: "Oh, where did daddy go?"

えひめ：「あれ、パパ。どこに行ったでしゅか？」

Kona: "There is a truck parking so close to your side, so mommy cannot get out. Daddy went to throw the trash."

コナ：「そっち側はトラックがあまりにも近くに止めたから、ママが出られないんだ。パパがゴミ捨てに行ったんだよ。」

Daddy: "Now, let's go home. Oh, cows in this property!"

パパ：「さあ、おうちに帰ろう。あれ？この敷地内に牛がいる！」

Mommy: "Oh, yeah! I've never seen cows here."

ママ：「あら、ホント！ここで牛さんを見たことなかったよね〜」

Daddy: "It's nice to have a little break from work."

パパ：「仕事から、ちょっと休けいするのはいいな〜」

Mommy: "Yes. Everyone needs that time."

ママ：「そうね。必要な時間よね。」

Kona: "Daddy, cows again!"

コナ：「パパ、また牛さん！」

Daddy: "Oh, yes! They are out to eat dinner."

パパ：「あっ、ホントだ！晩ごはんを食べに出てきたんだね〜」

Kona: "Have a wonderful night♪"

コナ：「素晴らしい夜を♪」

Cows: "You, too♪"

牛さんたち：「みなさんもね♪」

Ehime: "Is this a tour to see cows?"

えひめ：「これは、牛しゃん見学のツアーでしゅか？」

This morning　今朝

Ehime: "Cows again! Are we still on a cow tour?"

えひめ：「また牛しゃん！わたちたち、まだ牛ツアー中だったでしゅか？」

OMG! We got a commitment to buy the entire crop today!!! It means that we have a promise to sell all of our grapes in 2015 to one winery in town. Our first sales project got successful!!!

素晴らしいニュースです！本日、収穫物すべてに関する交渉売買が成立しました！！！つまり、町に所在するあるワイナリーに、2015年の私たちのぶどうをすべて売るという約束をした、ということです。私たちの初めてのセールスプロジェクト、成功しました！！！
