Harvesting what? 〜何を収穫する？〜

On both Monday & Tuesday, my husband & I were very busy for harvesting grapes and hand-sorting after that. After the last harvesting, we took a photo with the grape growers of these Zinfandel grapes. They are one of the sweetest couples we have met in this wine country.

月曜日と火曜日、主人と私は、ぶどうの収穫とその後の手での仕分けにとても忙しくしていました。最後の収穫のあと、ジンファンデルのぶどうの栽培者さんたちと一緒に写真を撮りました。このワインカントリーで出会った中でも、とっても愛らしいご夫婦です。

With a lack of sleep and being busy, I was getting dizzy during the hand-sorting. My hands are still purple. But look how beautiful the grapes are! They are very juicy grapes. We can't wait to see how they turn out when they become wine.

睡眠不足と忙しさで、手での仕分け中、クラクラしました。私の手は、いまだに紫色です。でも見てください、このきれいなぶどうたち！とってもジューシーなぶどうです。このぶどうたちがワインになったときどうなるのか、今から待ち遠しいです。

On Wednesday　水曜日

Makana: "Sister. It doesn't look like daddy & mommy are going to harvest grapes this morning."

マカナ：「ねえたん。パパとママ、今朝はぶどうの収穫に行かないみたいだよ。」

Ehime: "No. But they are going to harvest chocolates this evening."

えひめ：「うん。でも今日の夕方、チョコレートの収穫に行くんでしゅよ。」

Makana: "What!? What does it mean?"

マカナ：「えっ！？　どういうこと？」
